I am extremely extremely disappointed in the quality of food and the tiny portion of the Desert. Ridiculous. Both of our meals tasted like they were cooked in a burnt walk. They tasted burnt and smelled burnt. We decided to take Desert home, not thinking that it would be an extremely tiny piece of pie, which was small as a cupcake. Again ridiculous. One thing positive was our server was fantastic. It's getting ridiculous. That food at restaurants or fast food are charge the same price or increase the price and the portions are smaller. On our last visit, we learned that this location is a test site for new dishes and menus. I am so disappointed with the latest menu change and really hope that they don't roll this out. Bottom line, I felt like I had been transported to an airport restaurant. The focus of this menu is speed and, I feel, table turnover, rather than a dining experience. The new presentation is not designed for sharing, which I feel is fundamental to the Asian dining experience. The portion sizes are smaller. The new market sides are bland and not well executed. Also, no hot and sour soup anymore! I miss that! Our service was still good and we had a good talk with the market director who graciously accepted our feedback. Mom's favorite Birthday spot! Mom turned 86 and wanted to get her favorite Salmon dish at PF Chang's for dinner. Peter was our gracious waiter and he was AWESOME!! He took the best care of us. We had our youngest daughter with us with our two youngest granddaughters to surprise Mom. Everyone had the best time and for dessert Peter brought Mom a delicious slice of cheesecake with a huge Sparkler on a wine bottle to celebrate Mom!!! I was staying at a local hotel and wanted to get take out to bring back to my room . I ordered online and was surprised that a tip a demanded as part of the order . My order was ready when I got there and I went back to my hotel . BUT there wasn't any napkins or forks ! Luck the front desk at the hotel had some . This is NOT the way to give take out service. We were seated at the bar. There were three people working behind the bar and they were serving, not only us, but the rest of the restaurant as well. They seemed unable to notice who was at the bar who was first who needed service, etc. We had to flag them down anytime we needed something and we were actually waited on after other people came in. It seemed as if they did not even want to make eye contact with us. As far as engagement, there was zero. One man came in and sat at the bar next to us and they never attended to him and he finally got up and left. We used to love coming to this restaurant and it's been a while, but we're not looking at coming back anytime soon. Definitely seems as though staffing was an issue as well as training. We have made this PF Changs our Mothers Day pick for the last 3 years. We did not make a reservation for lunch as we have usually been able to be seated quickly. Yesterday was busy! We opted to sit at the bar area as it had available seating. The bartender greeted us promptly with menus & went over the drink specials. I wanted a dish called Moo Goo Gai Pan which is no longer on the menu and they accommodated my request. The mai tais were delicious and my meal outstanding! Our daughter was pleased the veggie lettuce wraps were back on the menu. Service was fast & efficient! This is one of those places that is all glitz and no substance. All of the money went into the interior design and the nice employee attire. None of the money went into quality food ingredients or customer service skills. First off, not a single worker came to take my order. I had to actually walk around and approach a worker to even get a menu. Second off, they have a menu that doesn't even show their drinks; so not sure why I had spend extra time flagging down someone who had a list of their entire menu. I decided to try their Mongolia trio which includes shrimp, beef, and chicken I upgraded it to fried rice which cost more. The total order came out to $34.21. I wish their menu said that fried rice came with bean sprouts so that I could've asked them to not include it. It looks like their fried rice just comes with onions, carrots, and bean sprouts. The fried rice I ate was wet and the rest of the meat items were below average. Overall, absolutely not worth the price I paid for. It's best to avoid this place and eat somewhere else in the mall. read more

During my recent visit to P.F. Changs, we went in, sat down, ordered a drink. When we went to order our food, they have no lunch menu anymore, so you have to order off the main menu. We wanted to order a Buddha feast with a side of salmon, which they say they can't do. They can't give you a side of salmon, even though it's available on other meals. So they said, well, we'll have to charge you for a salmon dish, which is $28. The dish we wanted was only $17. You can get a salad and a side salmon for $12, plus $6 for the salmon. So they wanted to charge us basically $10 more than what it should charge. They said that they have no way of charging a separate thing like that. So I asked to see the manager. The manager came out and he was horrible. He wasn't going to deviate from that. He said, oh, we can't do nothing. He can't. I can't change anything. I have never heard of a manager that can't go into a computer system and just add something or subtract something or do something. They were very obstinate, very disappointed. We go to P.F. James a lot, but no more. They've gotten way too expensive. It seems like this is just another cracker barrel coming. I don't know if they're going out of business, but you don't do away with your whole lunch menu, which had a lot of a la carte options on it, which I used to do, and have nothing to replace it. We liked dining here. It definitely feels premium. They have very good decor inside out and even they have outdoor seating. The food is great here. A little on the expensive side but I won't mind eating here often. Service is fast and the staff is welcoming too. A huge seating area and many dishes to choose from. I love this place and they've gotten so much better with age. Some companies don't take the time to update the menus and decor and it always looks clean and fresh inside. I love the food chicken lettuce wraps are amazing and the crispy honey chicken you can never go wrong with. The beef and broccoli is always cooked to perfection. The banana foster desert hits the spot and the ice cream has these little coconut flakes. What an awful experience! We ordered from the Dinner specials menu, it says "generous portions" when the food showed up (attached pictures) there was only half of what was shown on the menu. I've always been a fan of PF Chang's. I really like the ambiance with the dim lighting, great bar, and big booths for large parties. My service is always great and they have really good specials for Couples. My review is specifically for their takeout. It was my first time doing their takeout and I highly recommend. My order was correct, early, and still warm. Everything was labeled as to what it was and in its own containers so food didn't get nixed. They did not skimp on the soy sauce, forks, napkins, etc. I do think their portions are a tad smaller to go than they are in restaurant but I think that is most places. read more

My colleagues and I decided to stop by P.F. Chang's during their happy hour on a Monday. We ended up arriving around 5:15 P.M. It wasn't busy at all! Most of the tables were empty. We had seven people in our party and ended up getting a corner booth at the front of the restaurant. We were seated immediately and asked for drinks. The waitress brought out our drinks immediately, which were several types of Happy hour drinks, water and soda beverages. Off of the Happy Hour Menu, we selected the following - Mongolian PotStickers Pork/Shrimp Potstickers Spring Rolls (2) Sushi The Potstickers were good, but tasted like your typical potsticker at any other restaurant. The Spring rolls were over-cooked and burnt. I wouldn't get them again at this place. I didn't try the Sushi, so I can't comment. We waited for a good hour before placing our main order. I ended up trying one of their new dishes on the menu, Asian Mac N Cheese. Our party waited 45 minutes before receiving our entrees. The Asian Mac N Cheese had a interesting spin on it, which seemed like a mixture of mushrooms, seawood, and a type of noodle mixed with a parmesan and white cheese. It was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Service was good at the beginning of our stay at P.F. Chang's, but it slowly deteriorated. After we received our food, we waited a good hour for our check. It seemed like our waitress never came by our table after that. We ended up leaving the restaurant around 8:00 P.M, with our initial arrival at 5:15 P.M. Ambience is nice. Otherwise, this restaurant is okay, but I'll be trying out other restaurants in Phoenix first before coming back to P.F. Changs. read more

The drinks, a mojito and margarita, were refreshing and nicely balanced. The egg rolls were fresh, hot, and had a nice amount of ingredients. We spent approximately 20$ per person for our meals and not one of us even got remotely close to being full. Definity not worth the price they are asking for what was given to us.
