Just did the free delivery for three meals. I was very impressed the bag was sealed and left right outside. Delivery was right on time and the food was great! Will be using this option in the future. Only downside was that I couldn't figure out how to pay with a P.F. Chang's gift card. I'll just use that when restaurants reopen! read more

P.F. Chang's - Beautiful painting - Chinese Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Okay, so let me premise this review by saying I generally enjoy P.F. Chang's but like any chain restaurant it is ALL ABOUT the staff at whatever location you happen to be visiting. I get around ;) lived in 3 states in the last 4 years so have had my share of good and bad Chang experiences. Okay, so now onto the 5 star above! Went out with a girlfriend the other night and didn't have a destination in mind but was borderline hangry ;) so wanted something close by. We actually stopped by On The Border first.. and hungry as we were jointly decided to leave because it was so filthy. Not sure I'll get to that review today.. but OMG! I felt like I needed Lysol, gloves and a cootie check after spending about 5 minutes there. Yuck-o!! Anyway, back to the kick ass Chang's experience. So we sit down, are greeted by our server in 10 seconds flat and go about ordering half the menu - no judging, we were hangry! - and a few cocktails. Our food came out in waves - which was perfect for our grazing mood, and we had no less than 3 people check on us as we tore into dish after dish. It was relatively busy so this rockstar treatment (perhaps they'd heard I knew The Lock Lady - see my review if you want the details on my experience with her Literally rolling my eyes as I type this business name) - was great! Fast forward to the end and we left with full bellies and a mountain of boxes with every morsel we hadn't scarfed down! Check out the Superstition Sprjngs location, you won't be disappointed!! read more

We got takeout tonight. The food has no or off putting flavour, poor quality and looked very unappealing and cheaply made. Our last visit was about 5 years ago ( we are visiting here). It's definitely gone downhill. Our family of 4 ate only a small amt; the rest went in the garbage and all of us do not feel great. This food is worse than food court Asian food, but with a very high price. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

My husband and I did take out here last night. We were hungry and hadn't eaten here in quite some time. The service was fine, the food was ready on time. However, the food was beyond terrible. I had ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken and my husband ordered the Orange Chicken. I was unable to even eat any of the food because the chicken was soaking wet. It was like eating breaded rubber. It didn't even taste like chicken and was not tender. My husband chicken dish was the same. Very dissatisfied, especially because we spent $50 on the meal. Not sure if we'll be eating at a PF Changs again. read more

I've been to this location many times for both take-out and dine in. Lunch and Happy Hour are my favorite times to go. I enjoy the food and for some reason they have the best chocolate cake I've managed to have. I'm not sure why there's is the best but it most definitely is! read more

Havent been here in a couple years and PF Changs still delivers! All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed the apps, dinner and desserts! Yes, it is still excellent! read more

It's been many years since I was at PF CHANGS, I remember why. Over priced chewy. I had the Mongolian beef, it was chewy, over cooked and very salty. Rice came separately, it was dry unable to use chopsticks no stickiness whatsoever. I sure hope I remember why I don't eat here so not to have this experience again. read more

The gluten-free stirfried rice was delicious. The server, Juan, was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is contemporary with candles on the tables. The music is upbeat. We love it here. read more

The one good thing about this place is the service. Tori was our waitress and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, the food and drinks were very disappointing. It had been a few years since my boyfriend and I had eaten at a P.F. Chang's, and we remembered great menu selections and tasty food. The menu has changed since we had been before, but, unfortunately, so did the quality of the food. We came to P.F. Chang's instead of going to Pei Wei so we could get a more private dining experience, but all we got was tasteless, overpriced food. We would have much preferred to go to the local Wok In, which has reasonably priced food that is delicious every time. As for the drinks, my boyfriend ordered one of the "imported, Asian, craft" beers, but it tasted more like a Bud Light and I ordered the Sangria, which gave me flashbacks to jungle juice at trashy college parties. At least we know now not to try P.F. Chang's again. read more

Maybe it's me. Maybe it was just bad luck. But I've gotta say, our last (and unfortunately it will probably be exactly that) visit to PF Chang's was just horrible. Service was slow as always, mainly because the place is typically packed with people. No problem. We weren't in a hurry and patiently waited the 30 minutes necessary to get a table. Our server was attentive and had a fun attitude, so no problem there either. It was the food that was just unacceptable. Overpriced for sure, but poorly prepared too. Orange Peel Chicken was soggy and tasted like it was a three-day old left-over pulled from fridge and reheated in a microwave (really). My son ordered the salmon and we had to send it back not once, but twice due to being undercooked. The center was literally raw both times. The last straw was when one of the junior "managers" came to the table to say that, "We cook the salmon that way on purpose." Really? As if it was sushi? Wow. Sorry guys, you are just not worth it. read more

Nice Atmosphere and service was very good. Food was fair at best for the price of a dinner. Have been there prior to covid-19 and had the same opinion. Food so so and pricey . Most likely won't return.. read more

Unfortunately the take out food was sub par. I ordered Phad Thai and it was too sticky like it didn't have enough sauce. Also had a fishy taste. Didn't eat it at all. Tried my lettuce wraps and they were way too salty. My friends enjoyed the orange chicken. read more

I seriously hate coming to this location but it is always where we end up. The service is terrible, almost 100% of the time, and the food prep and quality is incredibly inconsistent. Do not get me wrong, the server's are friendly and personable enough but the hustle is not there. Also after my drinks come they are scarce until the food comes, wherein they check back maybe once. It seems they are always waiting in the kitchen and only come out when they group together multi table actions. Goodness forbid that I get individual experience and not just a passing of here's the soup got to go get drink orders at another table without seeing to your needs... I have been here where the food is spot on but were we are one of 3 tables in the joint yet our party of 3 or less takes an hour and forty minutes to get out. Usually it is the last 30 minutes that drag, and I have noticed it is waiting for the bill, paying for the bill, waiting for change, etc. And I see that it is a thing ever server does at this location. They won't make individual trips to take care of one guests needs at a time. When I finally get my bill after waiting 10+ minutes since my food was packed and bagged I will get the bill, after the other tables food, drinks are boxed. Then as all that is happening I am waiting another 10+ minutes to give my card to my server. And repeat the process. The irony is when they are busy they could turn my table over in less than 5 minutes but yet we have this stupid process to endure. I cannot stand it! And Everytime my family wants to eat here I beg and plead to go to Scottsdale, yet for whatever reason we are back in the hamster wheel repeating past mistakes. read more

So we haven't been here for a while. We ordered the pan fried dumplings which have always been a favorite. I'm sorry to say they were tough and flavorless. The pork tasted like it had freezer burn. Thank goodness there were only 2 for each of us. I don't think I could have stomached any more than that. I decided to take gamble ordered the pad Thai. It last all of 2 bites. It tasted like straight boiled noodles. My wife stuck to her old faithful orange chicken which has a new recipe. She loved it. The batter was much lighter than the original. It had a nice heat to it I'm a fan of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I'd order the orange chicken again. The servers where nice all be it slow. I don't mind waiting for good service. Beside t gave me chance to poach some orange chicken. So replaced the pad Thai with street noodles. Much better read more

Our family is extremely disappointed that PF Chang's has changed its food. Why change something that has been delicious for many years. Leave a good thing alone. The staff was very friendly but the food isn't the same at all. The chicken is a different size and texture, the rice isn't as flavorful, the mushrooms have changed, the egg rolls were horrible. I've had better egg rolls at jack in the box. To me it tastes almost like you guys are using less seasoning or something? Your food used to be top notch. I'm not trying to sound rude but I think your customers are going to be very disappointed that you changed a GREAT thing. Are a lot of companies these days trying to cut costs? It's not worth it if you lose long time customers due to the food tasting a lot different. We are sad about this change. read more

Great food on my bday! The appetizers were great. Wish they had butter lettuce with lettuce wraps and not icebergs

Felt like some warm comfort style fun food, PF Changs comes to mind a restaurant we used to love. We ordered two of their signature dishes Mongolian beef & Sweet n Sour chicken. What a disappointment super small portion of beef for $20 and so salty my husband couldn't eat it. The sweet n sour chicken was all breading, after picking the breading off I maybe had a 1/3 cup of chicken. I couldn't believe a restaurant of this caliber would serve that. Both dishes looked beautiful but that's it. We won't be back, this has happened to many times. Quality and consistency are absent and your paying much more for less. Over it!! read more

First time at PF Chang's in years. Tuesday evening and the place was still 1/3 full-good sign. My wife and I were seated in five minutes and we were quickly greeted. Our server, Zachary, offered us drinks and went thru the seasonal menu. We ordered from the gluten free menu, so we couldn't take him up on any specials, since none of them were GF. My wife ordered a glass of wine and I got a pot of Dragon Eye Oolong tea. The drinks were served in 7 minutes. The tea was rather spectacular. Good herbal notes with a definite citrus finish. We had also ordered Chang's signature appetizer: lettuce cups. Tasty marinated chicken, water chestnuts and green onions served over crispy rice noodles and a side of lettuce. Delicious. Our entrees arrived after 15 more minutes. My bride of 30 years ordered the GF Singapore Street Noodles while I ordered a cup of Hot and Sour Soup (not GF) and GF Chang's Spicy Chicken. The noodles were better than ordinary chow mien: the noodles were pan-fried, giving them great texture. There were plenty of shrimps and chicken pieces. The Spicy Chicken was their version of General's Chicken. Not as crunchy as GC but very good. A bit sweet so I just added Sriracha to it. Zachary did an outstanding job keeping the table clean and his guests happy. Our dinner totaled $53 before tip. We will he returning. read more

Usually reviews are about food right? Well....Ethan at this location is the definition of the perfect server/ service. Food was good and all but my oh my If you want a server who is friendly but not too talkative, a server who does not hover awkwardly, someone who doesn't ask you questions with a mouth full of chicken fried rice, is super attentive without being too much, and someone who is just genuinely happy to be serving and in life. Oooweeee Ethan's your guy! read more

Terrible they tell you there's no wait on phone come in wait wait 20 min later we have to say something . I called for a reason to get a wait time if you told us the truth on phone we wouldn't of come in . 1 star is for service part not good !! Train your hostess better in telling truth . Add more staff so there's not ridiculous wait times at 4:00 in afternoon not considered dinner rush ! read more

The dining room is very open here, and the decor is nice. Strategic placing of mirrors at the end creates the illusion of greater space, while not looking old fashioned at all. The playing of modern hipster tunes helps the customer experience. As their website states, "P.F. Chang's features a blend of high-quality, Asian-inspired cuisine and American hospitality in a sophisticated, contemporary setting." I can definitely attest to this, and submitted several photos to the Yelp page for this location on Yelp as proof of that. We came here and ordered the lettuce wraps to start. The be clear, I wasn't a fan, they used iceberg lettuce which is terrible for wrapping. Take a page out of other Asian fusion restaurants that tend to use Boston lettuce. It is higher quality and bought in bulk is great for restaurant B2B purchasing discounts. Next came the egg drop soups as part of the four course prix fixe meal. We ordered the lo mein with chicken, kung pao shrimp and the banana egg roll deserts. The egg drop soup was good as ever, they add thin carrot slices to add color without being too sweet and overpowering. The chicken lo mein was good, had the smoky flavor expected from high temps on a wok in the kitchen, and the banana egg rolls were great, served with a delicate scoop of ice cream and caramel drizzle. Would return, I just wish PF Chang's as a whole would invest in better lettuce for their wraps. Why take a delicious meat mix and then ruin it with cheap lettuce? Doesn't make sense. read more

Dinner was disappointing tonight. The food was delicious, but service was terrible making our experience less enjoyable. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge our table, from there on it was painful how slow and dismissive service was. We really enjoy going to this location, but not anymore if service is going to continue this way. read more

It's very entertaining reading the reviews on here. I have been to this location multiple times, this is my first review. The restaurant is very clean, decent in size not small as some reviewers say. Although I've been to locations in both Oregon and las Vegas which were bigger this is by no means "small" I have never waited, and I have always been given a booth, even today and I am alone! Most restaurants would refuse to give a solo person a booth. So that earns extra points. Within a few minutes I meet my waitress who brings me water without even asking. The happy hour menu is good, it uses to be great a year or so ago but they removed some of my favorites , but don't fret! The still have classics on there like lettuce wraps and fried green beans (2 of my personal favorites) So today i ordered a glass of wine, the crispy green beans and the flaming won tons. The favors between the Fried veggie, the dipping sauce it comes with is like a ménage a tois in your mouth. Add in the sweet yet spicy flaming wontons and boom! Well you know what happens :) The portions vs price ration is swell. No complaints here. I am full yet tempted to order more just because it tastes so damn good. I drafted this review with 4 stars, but decided I would love to end my mean with the banana spring roll dessert minus the banana rolls ( long story short teeth are sore and cant bite into things) my waitress what cool about it and have me exactly what I wanted! 5th star earned :) I reccomend this joint and if you've been here in 2010 and gave it bad reviews, come in now in 2012 and see what you think! read more

The food was great but trying to pay for the bill was a nightmare. We spent almost as much time eating our lunch as we did trying to use their app. to pay for it. Horrible experience. The food servers and the restaurant need to make the paying of the bill an easy task. Rediculous. I took friends there that said they would never return because of the time it took to pay their bill. DO YOUR JOB. You want the money, you make your customers happy when they pay the bill. Very, very disappointed. read more

Pretty darn good. Is it super authentic? Well, no. Head over to West Mesa if that's what you're looking for - you'll have tons of options with all sorts of interesting protein options. This is a chain restaurant with Asian inspired food for American tastes - so don't be complaining about what "Chinese food should be." Went on a Friday in the midst of snowbird season (and long waits - ugh, is it June yet???) and were quoted a 40 minute wait. We went to the bar to wait and they called us 5 minutes later (and before our drinks had been fully served and after we had just ordered an appetizer, which was a bit awkward.) Great service at the table and at the bar. For 2 we split an entree (orange peel chicken) and 2 sides (green beans, noodles.) Plenty of food for 2! Everything was tasty - I reallllly liked the green beans. Nicely blistered and a tasty, spicy sauce. Good stuff. read more

Came here for a birthday celebration. Hostess was very nice. Used the restroom and the sewer was backing up - gross!! Take out order was missing the sauces and as an apology for the inconvenience of having to return for them they offered nothing. Didn't have the sauces ready even though I called to let them know we would be returning and instead of bagging them they handed them to me in to-go containers. Definitely sub par. Won't be going back. With restaurants closed and to-go orders as the source of income I think they need to step it up a little. read more

I used to go to PF chang's all the time but not anymore. I am disappointed that they took out scallops from their menu. They took out sicchuan from the sea, took out calamari, and took out lobster from surf and turf. They used to be 5 stars at least for me, but not anymore. It seems to me that they are trying to go for bigger bottom line thus taking out some key items. That's too bad. Don't order curbside as you will be completely ignored & by the time you decide to go inside & get your food it's cold. Pre-ordered Mothers Day mid-day meal for 3, 5 days in advance, with a 1:30pm slot curbside delivery. Got the total run around from delivery staff for 1 hr until I finally went inside and talked with a manager in strong terms. Only then did my meal come to a lobby table for me to find myself. Total time at store was 1 hr 20 minutes. Worst service ever and they were totally unprepared even though they keep advertising. Got home and one of the dishes, pepper steak, was tough as nails.
