Went to changs for my birthday. As always the food was very good and ample. The server was good, friendly and easy to communicate with. I was offered a choice of deserts for my birthday. The dish was very good. To my surprise when the bill arrived, I was charged for the desert. It was only $5.62 so I paid it and didn't say anything. i have been going there for several years and have never been charged for the birthday desert. Not sure how I feel about going back. read more

Atmosphere 5/5 ++ Very nice, it's inviting and relaxing. Beautiful touches throughout. The dining room is very nice fairly quiet and it also has a nice bar with games on at the counter or enjoy more intimate conversations on the bars side tables. Service 5/5++ The Restaurant was a little busy but was seated immediately. Ashley was my server and she had my Peach Tea in the way in short order. Ashley was great though out dinner. Thx Ashley! Food 10/5 I surprised Ashley by ordering a little feast. My challenge was deciding and I lost the battle opting to try two starters and entree with an eye in leftovers. Starters Pork belly 10/5 This was truly a standout tonight. Served in folded in taco fashion, with some off m-the-chart pork belly and wonderfully seasoned vegetables. This is perfect bar food. I'm coming back for more! Steamed Dumplings 5/5 Usually order the fried version but wanted to taste the steamed version. Glad I did as I prefer this method of cooking. Served with a very good dipping sauce. Brussels 5/5 Have enjoyed this offering wherever I see it. They were good, garnished with peanuts. Entree (5/5) I overlooked this offering in past visits. Singapore noodle dish was exceptional. The noodles were perfectly cooked allowing flavor infusion without being too crispy. Perhaps not traditional Singapore style but another standout dish! Sauced and tossed with great vegetables, shrimp. This has become my favorite variation of Singapore style. Dessert (5/5) Vanilla bean ice cream over butter cake. This was an unnecessary indulgence. I saved room for this by allowing leftovers. I'm not a cake person but this was stupid good. Having a serving of Vanilla Bean melting over was the ice cream on the cake! A little guy or my left shoulder said stop resisting. We had a small issue with the hostess when we first arrived, but I have to give credit where it's due--the manager stepped in and quickly de-escalated the situation. I really appreciated how professionally it was handled, and it didn't impact the rest of our visit. One of the things I love most about P.F. Chang's is the ambiance. The restaurant has a darker, relaxing atmosphere that always helps me unwind. It's a nice change from the bright lighting you find in most restaurants and makes for a more enjoyable dining experience. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered the Firecracker Shrimp, which was flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and my husband ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. Both dishes were very good and arrived fresh and hot. Each entrée comes with steamed rice, but honestly, I usually skip it because I'd rather dive right into all the delicious protein and vegetables. Overall, this was another enjoyable visit. We came to do the Mother's day special 5 course deal on their busiest day of the year. We didn't get greeted for about 10-15, but then a server (Tori) saw my sad face & asked if our server came yet. Nope, so she got our drink order & promised our actual server would be there shortly. Tori was zooming around with piles on her serving tray, smile on her face. Came back to say, "you know what, let me take your order!" She gave us the walk-thru on the menu. Everything came out in great time! Lunch special: Mongolian beef. The fried rice I upgraded to was very bland and had no additions. The beef was overly salty and very tough meat. There was just enough to satisfy me after my appetizer but the portion overall was unimpressive. The lettuce wrap was more than half crispy rice whereas I would've preferred a light garnish. They gave me 3 lettuce leafs with it which was insufficient. Overall I was unimpressed, but the service and decor were nice. I did wait almost 40 minutes for my food at a mostly slow 2:00pm. I enjoyed my happy hour experience so much. I wanted to go for Valentine's Day with my husband. I love that. I can conveniently book a reservation on OpenTable. We did the chefs feast and it was an incredible deal for so much food. My husband talked about it many of times after the night of going out to dinner. The worst experience tonight. I made a reservation and requested a quiet table. We were going to celebrate my retirement. We get seated by a party of 28 people. Our waitress was great until they put her solo in the giant party. We never saw her again. I had to hunt down a manager to get the rest of our 5 course dinner and check. The Flavor was acceptable. The Hot, Sour, Tofu Soup was OK. Overall the Lunch portion was somewhat insulting, if you Cook. The Lunch Plate was definitely, disappointing at their price point. They will ask your specific allergies and print a paper packet of the dishes that are free of those allergens. Easily the best place I've been for food allergies in the valley. They rival Disneyland which is also amazing for food allergies. My parents joined me on this visit for a quick weekday dinner. We enjoyed various dishes, and had a few we wouldn't order in the future based off preference. We also found a few favorites that we could see ourselves returning to the. The orange chicken he said did have a nice flavor but he is a rice eater and he had maybe 3 spoonfuls. Egg roll is why it's a 2 star review as it was very good! Mine on the other hand was horrible. Ordered Kung Pao chicken and it was so dry and overcooked. Had so much rice which was dry and bland, couldn't eat. Maybe if there was sauce on the chicken it might have been better and it was overloaded with peanuts. Hot and sour soup was decent but not traditional in flavor. Not impressed with this PF Changs. Went with a group the other night and while the service was ok (not great, but not bad either), the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the pork egg rolls which were the best thing I had that night. The kung pao chicken was better served to a dumpster. It tasted like wet cardboard and had absolutely no spice or heat to it. First off, the place was busy and we were a party of 10 with no reservation. They had us sat within 15 minutes. We were on the patio in December and the heater kept us plenty warm. And asked for a small bowl of chili sauce. My food was out in minutes. My actual comment was, "I didn't know this was fast food". The food was hot. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The thin slices of beef were tender and juicy. The sauce ti was cooked with was good, but I added a little chili sauce to give the dish a little kick. We've been here before and it's P.F. Chang's, the food is usually good and the service usually falls in line, however tonight was not great. It's a Sunday night and slow as can be. We ordered my sangria at the the same time as the app-pan fried potstickers. The appetizer came out 15 minutes later. DELICIOUS. No sign of my drink. The app has come and gone, still no drink. I used the restroom and the bartender was chatting and laughing with a coworker, no biggie but like work and chat at the same time. I kindly asked the bartender for a sangria since it seems it'd been forgotten. After the second time ordering, my drink finally came out right away. The potstickers were fantastic. Sangria was tasty. Changs spicy chicken and the brussel were delicious, just wish the service was more up to par especially for being so slow :( read more
