My husband and I came down for some late night drinks and snacks. He ordered the Tokyo mule and I ordered them Mai Tai. The Tokyo Mule was not good and the mai tai was OK. We ordered the half appetizer of crab wontons and half appetizer of tofu lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps was very good. Service was OK. The restaurant at the bar was kind of dirty.

I had my first ever P.F. Chang's experience in Honolulu! I went with a lunch special - Mongolian beef, along with a hot and sour soup. The meal was tasty and met my expectations. The service was good and the place had a modern ambiance to it. I wouldn't say it was spectacular, however, it fit my needs at the time - tasty Americanized Chinese food!

I ordered Mongolian beef to go with no scallions and this is what I got for $31 which did not come with any soup or salad just rice. Taste was good, but the quantity was very little for $31.

We stopped by the P.F. Chang's in Waikiki for lunch on November 8, 2025. The food was actually pretty good, but the service really missed the mark. Our server, Devin, seemed distracted and we had to flag someone down a few times just to get refills and check on our order. Here's what we ordered: * 1/2 Chang's Lettuce Wraps - $10.79 * Romaine Lettuce - $7.49 * Pomegranate Lemonade - $7.49 * Beef & Broccoli Lunch Special - $19.99 * Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special - $18.99 * Sub Cup Fried Rice - $3.00 Subtotal: $60.26 Tax: $2.84 Total: $63.10 The food came out hot and flavorful -- both lunch entrees were nicely portioned and cooked well. The lettuce wraps were as good as always, and the pomegranate lemonade was refreshing, though pricey for the size. Unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness from the server took away from what could have been a much better dining experience. With so many great restaurants in Honolulu, service should stand out -- and here, it just didn't. Good food, average experience overall. Would consider returning, but mostly for takeout next time.

Where to start..? Ive been to this location couple of times and endured some lackluster service which is fine given it's waikiki. I get it, tourist town, big name company, they probably dont care. But...take a look at the napkin. NO REALLY, LOOK AT THE NAPKIN. I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Hopefully the HI dept of health takes a look. Their happy hour isn't too happy as you're only saving a dollar on their pork ribs. AVOID. Take your business elsewhere.

We came here for their lunch specials which was a good value. We ordered the shrimp pan fried dumplings that were really good. They were the best part of the whole meal! My Mongolian beef was ok, not the best. I didn't expect it to be sweet so that caught me off guard. In general my food didn't have much flavour to it. The egg drop soup was good. My brother had the teriyaki chicken and wasn't impressed either. His spring roll was ok as well. His beer was at a good temperature, my coke was not there. It was lacking something, it didn't taste right. On top of that, my glass was dirty in the inside with something that looked like orange juice pull stuck to it. Service was good with the outdoor seating. The only miss was that we were not given the card back and had to come back at night to get the credit card. Overall, it's just ok not good/great. I would probably skip here and check somewhere else like the cheesecake factory or the yard house.

We used to go during happy hour every year but now my hub cannot have alcohol anymore so we didn't go as often. I always enjoy munching on their fried edamame, the northern style ribs, lettuce wrap and this evening we added broccoli beef since it's dinner time! I know this is not authentic Chinese yet every dish here is tasty. Service was excellent, young chap was talkative- thought we were locals, brought us a big bowl of rice and constantly came over to fill our water glasses. Restaurant about two thirds full, not very busy, tables far apart. We really enjoyed our leisurely dinner....so relaxed forgot to take pics. Recommend.

Overpriced and Overrated What a disappointment. The Ma Po Tofu was awful--definitely not fresh tofu, it tasted like some kind of dehydrated or processed version. The rice was bland, the orange chicken was just okay, and the chow mein was plain and borderline gross. For the price, I expected way better. Honestly, I would've had a tastier and more satisfying meal at a fast-casual spot like Panda Express. P.F. Chang's is all hype, no flavor. Won't be coming

PF Chang's is a must for my husband and I. It's always nice to stop in for great food. Our server, Hailey, is so sweet and is taking care of our every need. We are sitting upstairs with a view of the street and tourists below. It feels so quaint. Our go to are the shrimp dumplings, steamed, and the orange chicken with fried rice for the win.

We made reservations on OpenTable. It was a Saturday when we went there for late lunch. You can park at Royal Hawaii Shopping center and get your ticket validated but still a little pricey. We started with some appetizers. I got the bean tempura and that was delicious. And my meal I got the beef stir fry with the fried rice. It was delicious. I'm glad they didn't rushed us and we got to catch up with my friends. The place is clean and we sat downstairs. Upstairs is outdoors. Great customer services. They kept our drinks going and filling out waters. Thanks for having us there.

I've been to a few other Changs before and liked them all. This was the first one that was disappointing. We ordered takeout and the main item was Crispy honey chicken. It wasn't crispy and there was no honey on it. Since it was takeout I can understand it may not be crispy, but there should have been some sauce or something on it. It was really just limp chicken with breading. The online ordering didn't work. Staff was okay, but seemed a bit put out. I didn't go inside, so I don't know about the atmosphere. read more

This is the second time this has happened. I ordered a family meal for 4 and choose the gluten free soup option. I've ordered this many times before. Again, by the time my son brought the order home, the soup serves only two people. The last time I called they said they can't reimburse us but they would offer a free slice of cake or something. I'm gluten-free, I can't have cake, but what I really want is gluten free food I can eat. My entire family calls it fake Chinese food, but since it's safe for me to eat, we'll order it. My previous order on July 26 was served with a small portion of soup. I called the restaurant and they confirmed it. I've ordered this meal about every other month. I don't like getting ripped off. I'm willing to pay the extra price for gluten free above the normal price, but then not to receive what I paid for is unacceptable. So beware, those of you who order take-out. I've been burned twice. Lessons learned. read more

The service was great, our waitress, Miranda, was very friendly and the food was very good. They have a 3 course option on offer ($27.99 here in Hawaii) and the choices for that are on option are very tasty and the portions are fairly large. She even brought us some extra sauce that was served with the dumplings and it added to the already great taste of our entrée. The ambiance was decent, the atmosphere was welcoming and was clean. She was on point with the water refills (my fiancee and I don't drink). My overall experience was great! We will be back for sure. read more

This is the best P.F. Chang's I've ever been to! Our server Miranda were so attentive and kind. She made our experience so special and I really felt the aloha spirit. I highly recommend the chocolate cake our server made sure to tell us it's a non-negotiable dessert. Drinks and food were also delicious and served quick. I ordered a cosmopolitan and Mongolian beef entree accompanied with the pan seared pork dumplings. This was a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. read more

I went to PF. Chang's with high expectations based my previous experiences in California. However, to my surprise food was cold, staff were like why did you came like attitude. The food was substandard. Definitely not upto PF Chang's standards. On top of it we wanted the dishes spicy which the staff said ok but when we got they said we forgot to make spicy and gave hot sauce to mix it. read more

Where do I start first of all? We have been here for two days and we have picked authentic Hawaiian restaurant to have dinner unfortunately on the third day we decided to go with P.F. Chang's bad idea. The service was horrible and the food was even worse if you're planning on going here, don't do it. It is the worst. My wife and I both enjoyed the Honolulu location's lunch special today. We each ordered Mongolian Beef and a starter salad. The beef was incredibly tender and packed with flavor...noodles and rice accompanied our entrees (you select one or the other). We'll be back again during our 2 week vacation. Cheers to you P.F. Love love love this restaurant! I was thrilled when our group wanted to come here while on our vacation in Hawaii. We went to the one located in the middle of all the shops, we parked in a garage near by but you can valet at other locations too. We made a reservation on open table and they actually accommodated us and seated us way earlier than our time, which was lovely!! Thank you so much we really appreciate it. We know the servers were busy, but ours took great care of us. Everyone ordered a drink, I had their mango tea (no free refills) and everyone was happy with their beer and cocktails. They offer gluten free options and I am obsessed with the change spicy chicken, Mongolian beef and fried rice! Everyone ordered a ton of other dishes, chow mein, shrimp kung pao, orange chicken, crab fried wontons, chili green beans, hot and sour soup, we agreed every dish was better than the last. We finished everything we ordered for a table of 7, we had chicken lettuce wraps as well! I come to the other pf Changs fairly often and this one was great. Beautiful to sit outside on the patio or inside. They have a nice bar and decadent dessert selection too! I'd come with groups, families, for a date, etc! read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend the day in Waikiki and we decided to start at P.F. Chang's. What a great decision! I haven't been back here since the remodel. Anyway, my boyfriend and I decided to enjoy cocktails and a quick bite to eat at the bar. I got the midnight cocktail that was a gin based drink with butterfly pea tea and lemonade, with a rock candy on a stick as a garnish. It was a really pretty drink and it tasted really nice too! My boyfriend just wanted a quick bite as I mentioned. We got a spicy tuna roll, dynamite shrimp, and pork dumplings. The bartender, Maria, said that they would taste best pan seared so we took her recommendation and she was right. They were delicious. Just a heads up, the 3 items we chose were a bit spicy, which is what I like. However, if you are sensitive to spice you may want to keep that in mind. The service was nice, food tasted great, and the ambiance was amazing. We will definitely be back! read more

The curry sauce was so deep & complex. In addition, the crab was fresh bc they have tanks in the restaurant. Of course I called dibs on the head, and it was packed with goodies. I added rice to the head (in Ilocano this is called "labay", adding rice to soup or broth to extend the meal). I was in heaven. The other dishes were all big portions and very good. The meat was tender, and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. I believe all the other dishes were ~ $20/each. The staff was super nice. We didn't have a res, but luckily we were seated in 20 min on a busy Sun night. Regarding the dining area, its tight but comfy. You have to wash your hands after, and the bathrooms are clean. I will def return the next time I come home. I want to try another crab dish (about 8 versions), and build a meal around the crab.

Ive recently had the experience.... (hence experience) of eating at this establishment. My Family and I were always HUGE fans of PF Chang's where we live, and honestly, the staff here ha a serious FYI needed. Upon arrival we check in for the reservations, the restaurant was not busy, plenty of open tables, and reservations were more then made in advance. We arrive to discover, "we don't seat anyone until your entire party is here".................. The was less then pleasing. went to the bar, which was full, and had to stand next to the garbage and bathrooms, all while attempting to dodge servers, helping other guest. The bartender was great, she was very accommodating, and attempted to expedite things, and wasn't able to but overall was the person who was most acceptable. The waiter began by taking our orders, only to have our drinks delivered 18 minutes after our initial order. (again restaurant was not busy) he took the appetizer order which was done in a timely manner, only to find out "his wife was cut for the night so he was leaving, but our new server would be there shortly." As that annoyed the table we began talking about it, only to be Mauked by the servers at the station next to the door. "laughing, and making very inappropriate remarks" i attempted to let it go. Finally our food arrived, and the manager came over to address "i heard that we have had some issues this evening"....... Why would you address an upset host, let alone the table, in such a manner? At the point it was over, we finished the food, drinks that she "got another round for us" and took money off of the bill. The Damage had been done, and to address the "issue" so late in the evening/ Experience, was less then I expected from such a normally pleasant establishment. Word to the wise fellow vacationers, think twice, try your luck..... Its normally a great place to eat. read more

For my wife's birthday she decided she wanted to eat here. We hadn't ate at this new location but haven't had any complaints while eating at this restaurant chain, both here and on the mainland. Until now. We were seated upstairs at the Kalakaua location relatively quickly, and was led to our table against the wall. Our hostess sat us and told us our waiter will be right there. My wife and I sat talking for a bit while waiting and watching at least 4 different workers pass by our table, thinking that "ok, this is our waiter". Only none of them stopped! Fast forward 30 mins and still, no waiter, no water, no one even asked if we needed anything! I told a waitress and she said she'll go see what happened. 5 minutes later she still hadn't come back so I stood up, walked to the manager and politely asked for two glasses. He said what were we drinking? I said "well nothing right now but as soon as you get me two glasses I can get my wife and I some water because waiting over half an hour for your workers made us thirsty." He immediately apologized and told us he'd take care of us for the evening. I thanked him and sat back down with my wife. They were super attentive after that! I mean, to the point of irritation! Every waiter passing by had to stop and ask if we needed anything! After our meal the manager let me keep my used PLASTIC beer cup with their logo on it, and said he'd give us a dollar off for every minute we waited, which was 34 minutes. So I did appreciate that he'd do that, but I wondered if it happens so often that they have "a money off your bill plan since I made you wait" offer? Anyway they get two stars since the food was still the same, but the service needs a huge kick in the butt. read more

Disappointing Service Experience I was looking forward to trying out P.F. Chang's in Waikiki at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center for Happy Hour, attracted by their appealing pricing and location. However, my visit on a Wednesday afternoon was quite disappointing. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, it took over 5 minutes for the staff at the host stand to acknowledge us. They seemed to notice us but made themselves appear preoccupied. A simple acknowledgment or a brief "we'll be right with you" would have made a difference. When we were finally acknowledged, the greeting was unwelcoming, accompanied by a scowl. We opted to sit outside but were offered the least desirable table--fully exposed to the sun with no umbrella, despite other available seating options. After requesting a different table, we were left unattended for another 5+ minutes. Despite several visible staff members, the customer service was surprisingly lacking. Frustrated by the poor service, we decided to leave and went across the street to another establishment offering Happy Hour specials. Overall, the initial impression and service at P.F. Chang's did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, we left disappointed without experiencing their menu offerings. read more

As long-time fans of P.F. Chang's, my family and I were excited to dine at the Waikiki Beach location during our trip. Unfortunately, this experience was not only disappointing, it was unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find bird droppings scattered across the dining area, on the chairs, the floor, and even near tables. As someone with a background in the food industry, I can confidently say this presents a serious health hazard. Bird feces can carry pathogens like salmonella, which poses a direct risk to diners. When we brought this to the attention of the hostess, she showed little concern. The manager did offer a brief apology, but no resolution or alternative was presented. There was no effort to relocate us, offer a cleaning crew, or even a gesture of goodwill. We ultimately walked out without eating. This location is in urgent need of a health inspection and a serious reevaluation of its sanitation standards and customer service training. Huge disappointment for a brand we've trusted for years. P.F. Chang's corporate needs to step in and address this. read more

Our experience at P.F. Chang's in Honolulu, Hawaii, fell short compared to your positive visit to the location in Palm Desert, California. We experience a significant difference in food quality and service between the two locations. While the service at the Palm Desert restaurant was excellent, our Honolulu visit was marked by several disappointments, including undercooked orange chicken and undercooked spicy chicken. Rice not fresh, These issues made the overall experience a letdown, especially given your hope that the restaurant had improved since a prior disappointment in 2020. It's clear that consistency is key for a restaurant chain like P.F. Chang's, and it seems like the Honolulu branch didn't meet the standards set by its California counterpart. If they want to retain loyal customers like us , they'll need to address these discrepancies in both food preparation and service. read more

Ayy yo, lemme put y'all on real quick--PF Chang's be hittin' different, for real! Pulled up the other night, and off rip, the vibe was clean, music smooth, and the spot was smelling like straight fire. But the real MVP? My guy Keno! Bro was on point with the service, mad respectful, and kept it all the way solid. Food came out hot and fresh--mongolian beef was bussin', orange chicken crispy just right, and don't even get me started on them dynamite shrimp. Had the whole table silent for a minute, just straight-up vibin' with the flavors. And Keno? My boy made sure drinks stayed full, checked in but never hovered, and had the whole squad feelin' like VIPs. If you ain't been to PF Chang's yet, you playin' yourself. I had an amazing experience at P.F. Chang's, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Rae. From the moment we sat down, Rae was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. She made sure we felt taken care of the entire time without ever being overbearing. Rae knew the menu really well and gave great recommendations that we ended up loving. Our food came out quickly, everything was correct, and she checked in at just the right times to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about providing great service. Went for an early and light lunch. My wife and I shared an appetizer and main course. The salt and pepper calamari appetizer was crunchy and tasty with the sauces provided although one of the sauces was a bit too sweet for my taste. Jake, our waiter, recommended the Chilean Sea Bass which was served on a bed of spinach. He didn't let us down. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. This PFChangs has great happy hour specials from 11am til 5pm! This was quite a pleasant surprise for me and 2 friends when we stopped by Sunday afternoon. There are deals to be had with appetizers and cocktails priced under $7. The crab won tons and seared ahi--awesome! Mai tai's were delicious! The venue is clean and modern; the staff was friendly; our server, Amy always had a smile; and our happy busboy was also the manager. We came to Hawaii for a mullet convention. We decided to sell our food stamps so we could eat at PF changs. Our waiter was Armando. He was amazing and even offered to come be my best man at mine and my cousins wedding. I would like to give the world's largest props to Dana and the staff at this location. My husband and I got married on 4/3 and had planned a large group gathering for that night. Planning things from the mainland is a challenge and Dana was the biggest help with helping orchestrate the dinner via phone and email. Walked up to a crowded hostess stand for our 8PM reservation and we were immediately seated at a nice open air table on the second floor. A few cocktails later we enjoyed two delicious appetizers, chicken lettuce wraps and crab wontons. There were three of us together so we decided to order three en-trays to share. I can't say enough about PF Chang's on Lewers. I love the view, they take reservations, they seat me where I want to be seated without hassle, and of course most of all I love the food. If you havn't tried the lemon scallops your missing out!!! Peppered steak is amazing, ginger chicken with brocolli, and the garlic noodles. This is what I always order. I'm use to mainland and getting great Chinese food buffet for $10. Here the average meal is $15. So disappointed the discontinued the dessert shooters.
