Crab wontons and tofu lettuce wraps
Leslie M.

My husband and I came down for some late night drinks and snacks. He ordered the Tokyo mule and I ordered them Mai Tai. The Tokyo Mule was not good and the mai tai was OK. We ordered the half appetizer of crab wontons and half appetizer of tofu lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps was very good. Service was OK. The restaurant at the bar was kind of dirty.

Mongolian Beef Lunch Special

I had my first ever P.F. Chang's experience in Honolulu! I went with a lunch special - Mongolian beef, along with a hot and sour soup. The meal was tasty and met my expectations. The service was good and the place had a modern ambiance to it. I wouldn't say it was spectacular, however, it fit my needs at the time - tasty Americanized Chinese food!

Mongolian Beef Entree $31

I ordered Mongolian beef to go with no scallions and this is what I got for $31 which did not come with any soup or salad just rice. Taste was good, but the quantity was very little for $31.

We stopped by the P.F. Chang's in Waikiki for lunch on November 8, 2025. The food was actually pretty good, but the service really missed the mark. Our server, Devin, seemed distracted and we had to flag someone down a few times just to get refills and check on our order. Here's what we ordered: * 1/2 Chang's Lettuce Wraps - $10.79 * Romaine Lettuce - $7.49 * Pomegranate Lemonade - $7.49 * Beef & Broccoli Lunch Special - $19.99 * Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special - $18.99 * Sub Cup Fried Rice - $3.00 Subtotal: $60.26 Tax: $2.84 Total: $63.10 The food came out hot and flavorful -- both lunch entrees were nicely portioned and cooked well. The lettuce wraps were as good as always, and the pomegranate lemonade was refreshing, though pricey for the size. Unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness from the server took away from what could have been a much better dining experience. With so many great restaurants in Honolulu, service should stand out -- and here, it just didn't. Good food, average experience overall. Would consider returning, but mostly for takeout next time.

This place was better than I thought it would be . Drinks hit , food was good and the service was good as well . We sat outside so it was a nice view from the up stairs patio seating .

Where to start..? Ive been to this location couple of times and endured some lackluster service which is fine given it's waikiki. I get it, tourist town, big name company, they probably dont care. But...take a look at the napkin. NO REALLY, LOOK AT THE NAPKIN. I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Hopefully the HI dept of health takes a look. Their happy hour isn't too happy as you're only saving a dollar on their pork ribs. AVOID. Take your business elsewhere.

We came here for their lunch specials which was a good value. We ordered the shrimp pan fried dumplings that were really good. They were the best part of the whole meal! My Mongolian beef was ok, not the best. I didn't expect it to be sweet so that caught me off guard. In general my food didn't have much flavour to it. The egg drop soup was good. My brother had the teriyaki chicken and wasn't impressed either. His spring roll was ok as well. His beer was at a good temperature, my coke was not there. It was lacking something, it didn't taste right. On top of that, my glass was dirty in the inside with something that looked like orange juice pull stuck to it. Service was good with the outdoor seating. The only miss was that we were not given the card back and had to come back at night to get the credit card. Overall, it's just ok not good/great. I would probably skip here and check somewhere else like the cheesecake factory or the yard house.

Wow! Came in for drinks and left feeling full with aloha! Edgar is a gem in Waikiki! The food was great but I'll definitely come back for his hospitality! Great job PF Chang's

We used to go during happy hour every year but now my hub cannot have alcohol anymore so we didn't go as often. I always enjoy munching on their fried edamame, the northern style ribs, lettuce wrap and this evening we added broccoli beef since it's dinner time! I know this is not authentic Chinese yet every dish here is tasty. Service was excellent, young chap was talkative- thought we were locals, brought us a big bowl of rice and constantly came over to fill our water glasses. Restaurant about two thirds full, not very busy, tables far apart. We really enjoyed our leisurely dinner....so relaxed forgot to take pics. Recommend.

Chow mein
Michie K.

Overpriced and Overrated What a disappointment. The Ma Po Tofu was awful--definitely not fresh tofu, it tasted like some kind of dehydrated or processed version. The rice was bland, the orange chicken was just okay, and the chow mein was plain and borderline gross. For the price, I expected way better. Honestly, I would've had a tastier and more satisfying meal at a fast-casual spot like Panda Express. P.F. Chang's is all hype, no flavor. Won't be coming

Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. I sampled the Korean Chicken Burger? I heard it was their top item so I figured I'd just try it. It was very sweet and crispy, but I'm not sure how it constitutes as anything that would make me say "wow." I sampled my friend's fish dish and this was delicious and I think I liked it better than what I got. I wish that the side that they used for the carbs wasn't potatoes and maybe a rice option? They brought some sort of fried fish ball that had a pretty good spicy tartar sauce that everyone on our table was fighting over. Overall, I think the food wasn't something I would come back for, but the service was astounding - especially when someone on our table did not like the drink they ordered - our waitress offered to take it back and serve her another drink that she hopefully liked. Ambiance is very posh and dim - yet casual at the same time. We came at a lunch hour so not too fancy, I can imagine people getting dressed up fancy to go here at night though.

Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

The employee took it and immediately hung up on me--no name taken, no "thank you," no "goodbye." When I arrived, the parking was a mess, so I had to be dropped off. Red flag: they literally microwave their eggs instead of cooking them fresh. After 30 minutes of total waiting time, I finally went up to check on my order, only to find out the cashier hadn't even handed my ticket to the kitchen yet. She sent it back right in front of me without a single word of apology--just a blank stare. I cancelled my order on the spot. Horrible service, zero management, and low-quality food prep. We came around 4PM and were surprised it was almost empty (but slowly it did get busier). Our food came with complimentary bread with guava sauce. It was really good! The bread is toasted, crispy, and buttery. Everyone in my party enjoyed it. We did not expect our food items to come in really large portions. I loved the chicken karaage! The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol. It's one of those spaces where you hope the next place finally sticks. But the food at Scratch Kitchen? Absolutely delicious. The kind of meal where the pictures alone make your mouth water. If "smell‑a‑vision" or "lick‑your‑screen" technology existed, everyone would understand exactly what I mean. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully done, and perfect for a Mother's Day treat. Which is why I can't help but wonder what happened -- like so many restaurants before them in that same location. With food that good, you'd hope they'd be the ones to break the cycle.
