Having moved here just a few months ago, I was hoping this P.F. Chang's was as good as my last "home's" one. (West farms, CT). Unfortunately, although the lunch special with honey walnut chicken was pretty good, the egg drop soup tasted like beef bouillon! Yuck! Fingers crossed that someone in Corporate does something to improve our local PF Chang's. We used to love P.F. Chang's, we were obsessed with the orange peel chicken & the garlic sugar snap peas. We haven't gone to P.F.'s in awhile so we went to lunch yesterday and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. The food is overpriced and tasteless. The servings have gotten smaller as well. We were very fortunate to have great company~ The food was an 'I don't think they check very often how this actually tastes' moment. The portions matched the price however, the taste didn't fit the bill. My last visit, the flavors amazing, the appetizers incredible, but currently... ... 12/2018 everything just went downhill. Spicy rolls- sweet vs heat fail, shrimp sauce or shrimp was slimy vs fresh, the deep fry on calamari soggy... what happened? I left hungry but wasn't willing to pay for another dish fail. Second time we were disappointed. In restaurant orders are fine. Delivery or pick-up is risky. Unless you inspect the food before you leave, changes are at least one of the dishes will be wrong. We have been here many times and our experience has always been positive and the food very good. Also, the wait staff staff have always been pleasant. In the rare occasion something hasn't been to the usual standard they corrected it right away when it was brought to their attention. I've always been a huge fan of PF Chang's! I never fail to order their crab wontons and dynamite shrimp. I also love their vegetarian lettuce wraps and their honey walnut shrimp dinner. I try to always head to PF change at happy hour because they have great apps and it's way more affordable. The only reason I would give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it's a bit over priced for a chain restauraunt, especially their entrees. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with PF Changs. I love the food and the service is always good. I had the Lunch Kung Pao Chicken which is delicious, spicy and has white meat chicken! I also added a cup of soup and a Coke. Tasty!!! I hate getting the check! For the portion size the restaurant is making a killing. I got half of what one would expect for a lunch portion at any usual Asian restaurant. That Coke? $3.25. Total combined without tax? $15.75. That means tax and tip would put you at $20 for a regular lunch! So again delicious food but it approaches steak house pricing quickly. I chose this location to feed our work family of about 13 people. We spend a fair price for a huge abundance of food. I used the online order tool ans was able to submit my order the day before for a specific time with no issues. Curbside pickup was no struggle at all and staff were very nice. Due to their being so many bags of food I actually helped the staff carry our part of the order so I can say their facility was clean and beautiful on the inside as well. I personally tried a wide selection including sushi - dynamite roll, and spicy tuna roll - both were to be expected (good) and tasted fresh. The appearance of the other rolls we got were constant. I tried their Brussels sprouts and were not disappointed although they were rather sweet to me ( not to my colleague). Their honey chicken had a great flavor as well as their calamari. However I would have liked to see a better batter/ fry on the calamari because it was a little bit too breaded for my taste. On the flip side, I tried the chicken wraps that had no breading and the flavor seemed to really pop and was very satisfying. I love me some PF Changs, but today I was disappointed by the food and the server I ordered my favorite which is the Mandarian Chruch salad which I love and suggested to my friend, who hasn't been there before to have the same and she did. Halfway through our salad, we realized there were NO MANDARIN ORANGES. I ask our waitress about it and she said that you were out of them. So that's why our salads tasted so blah. If you're thinking about getting delivery here...don't. PF Chang's uses DoorDash as their delivery system which makes it seem like I should be writing a review on their website but once you order, it doesn't allow you to. I only ordered some potstickers and a Diet Coke. The delivery guy was half an hour late and didn't show up with the Diet Coke. Of course he said it was P.F Chang's mistake. My food was extremely cold and supposedly I will be reimbursed for the drink. Better yet, I received a text asking how they did and when I gave a low number, the automated system sent a link for review that leads to nowhere. I had more hope for PF Chang's. The service was great. By far one of the best places in terms of service. That place was smiles galore! I like friendliness. But the food, that's another story. A horrible nightmare. (that was a bit exaggerated, but the food was bad!) The food was really bad. Salty, too saucy, dry, over cooked, etc. Just BAD. My dinner companion and I were pretty hungry. We ordered an appetizer dish, the tuna tataki crisp. I'm oversimplifying this, but the dish was like raw fish salsa on a chip. Did not work too well. Then we got the double pan fried noodles, ma po tofu, and mahi-mahi. Wow, I could not believe how bad the first two items were. The mahi-mahi was pretty tasty, but the rice the fish was on was a little too undercooked. The noodles were drenched in sauce. It was like the noodles were drowning and the sauce was too sweet. It was a sad mess. Then the ma po tofu was just funny looking and the broccoli was overcooked. The tofu did not have taste. It was so strange. It just looked strange. I don't mind Chinese-fusion food, as long as its edible. This was a sad meal. At least we got fortune cookies! I think the thing that gets me is that the food is overpriced. If the food tasted better, I don't mind paying for it. But when food is overcooked, undercooked, too sweet, too salty, and well, just not good, then I'd rather go to the freezer section of the grocery store and eat that. Just not good. Oh yeah, and what's the deal with the sauce the server brings out in the beginning? I did not receive an introduction to that at all. Was I just suppose to drink that up? What happened? Although we haven't been inside a PF Chang's for a couple of years, as "formula food" chain restaurants go, we liked PF Chang's. Not necessarily a destination restaurant, but one that if faced with hunger or eating at PFC in an unfamiliar city, we felt good about a PFC choice. So when we were in Eugene, without access to a phone or laptop for a quick peek at Yelp, and this PF Chang's was near our location after what had been a long morning into mid afternoon, we popped in. We figured at least we knew what we were going to get - decent food, mid range price, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. But nope. Not what we got. Is our memory of what PF Chang's offered failing or does this PF Chang's fall short? The service was friendly and the ambiance is typical PF Chang's...faux Chinese murals on the walls, a few upholstered booths but mostly wooden chairs and tables squeezed cheek to jowl for seating (or maybe cheek to cheek), voluminous ceilings with dramatic lights and Asian color palate. No surprises there. And while the prices on the menu were a tad higher than we recalled, it has been at least a couple of years since we were in a PFC so no worries about that either. (They need to pay for all the fancy decor somehow.) As value reference point, our bill for an entree, a noodle dish and one cocktail was $32.00. So far AOK...even if it did take WAY too long for the food to get from kitchen to table given there were only 29 diners (I counted 'em) and three or four wait staff. But the food was simply bad...a bland imitation of Chinese flavors that not only tasted but looked at presentation as if the cook in charge was a line cook on break from High School culinary class. Sorry...it really was that disappointing. The food sinks the ship to a 2 star "meh" review. And while it didn't taste overly salted to either of us, it is Chinese food after all, we can tell the salt level was significant by the amount of water we've been wanting to drink all evening. But maybe that is "on us" for what we ordered - mu shu pork and chow fun noodles. The Asian pear mojito was a winner though. Can recommend that. But had I read the Yelp reviews before we went today, we would have known better. If you choose to ignore all your wise Yelp colleagues who have posted mediocre and worse reviews here and go anyway, you may find it helpful to know this is located the far end of the parking lot associated with the mall (Pottery Barn side). I'd first like to say that our server, Anna, was spectacular. She was attentive, honest, kind, and made sure our food and drinks were to our liking. The asian pear mojito was bomb. The salmon was cooked perfectly and my fiance loved his sushi and Mongolian beef. We came here on a thursday evening and there were only a few other tables occupied which was nice because we prefer less crowded restaurants. We have a baby in a stroller and we were all accommodated in a comfortable indoor seating space away from other tables. Overall the food, atmosphere, and service were great. Y'all need to know what to order. I've worked at the P.F. Chang's both here and in Walnut Creek as a hostess, and there ARE scrumptious dishes. You just have to avoid the greasy, sodium-infused ones--which, unfortunately, is the majority of the menu. The P.F. Chang's veggie lettuce wraps, which are small 5-spice tofu cubes placed in lettuce wraps with rice and covered in special sauce, are out of this world. GET THEM. (and not the chicken ones, I've heard the veggie ones are superior) They're also one of the less nutritionally offensive items on the menu so you don't get that bloated too-much-Chinese-food feeling. I don't eat meat so I can't personally vouch for any of the meat dishes on the menu but have heard horror stories. I also recommend the coconut curry veggies (ordered "slightly spicy") and the Shanghai cucumbers. As for the service and atmosphere...well, it really depends on who you get and where you sit. If you want a booth, PLEASE ask as soon as you arrive (instead of when the hostess seats you) or request one when you make a reservation. The restaurant gets pretty noisy, so a booth is a good idea if you want to actually hear your company. If you're on a crappy date, however, the middle of the restaurant is perfect for drowning out that irksome, unwanted small talk. read more

We are regulars to PF Chang's in Eugene. Not anymore. Food was good as always but the service was horrible. Our waitress was inattentive. We had to ask twice for refills and for dipping sauce we had ordered (we actually stopped other wait staff to help) nor did she check on us. I can understand if you are busy with other tables, but it was at slow with only a few tables occupied in the restaurant, it was just plain bad service. My final straw was when she asked if we wanted boxes,a we agreed, then asked twice more for the boxes. She took it payment without giving us or bill, then we waited and waited whole she socialized with a couple worker. I sent my husband for a manager. Waited and waited. Finally got pissed enough that we got up, leaving behind all of our food (at least half of our ordered food). Our waitress saw this and rushed over with our gift card. Then the manager, who was the one she was socializing with stopped me. I told her I didn't want to talk with her since she was part of the problem, that her socializing interfered with her servicers duties. She LIED to me and said they were discussing business. Next time, make sure the customer is not within hearing distance of your conversation. Then the general manager said she never wanted to hijack me, at the same time she is physical preventing me from leaving the restaurant. Nope, won't going back to this PFf Changs. So upset that I even have the remaining gift card with a $25 dollar balance away to strangers as we left the restaurant. Hopefully their experience was better than ours. read more

This happened a few years ago but it was so amazing that I have remembered it and still tell people about it often! Here's my story of this PF Changs: I went here to meet up with a few friends. We all ordered and I had asked the waitress to not use nuts on mine since I'm slightly allergic. When the food came out a bit later, a male waiter was carrying to us. He put the plates down in front of us and paused for a second looking at mine. He asked if he could look at the plate and confirmed with me that I couldn't have nuts. He saw them before I even did PLUS he wasn't even the original waiter. He apologized and took the plate. Moments later a new plate came out with no nuts. Everyone apologized and said the entire order (there were five of us) was on the house! Customer service (and taking allergies seriously) like this is what truly makes a place unforgettable... even 5 years later! The food was absolutely delicious too, by the way. :) read more

We came here one weekday afternoon. It was pretty dead inside and we expected to be seated quickly but we actually sat around for awhile and then eventually my husband had to flag down a staff member. Once we were seated though the service was great. Our waiter was friendly and courteous and got our orders in quickly. I'm on a very low carb diet so the Lobster Jicama street tacos were a great choice. Food is always good here. Tempura string beans are delicious with their spicy sauce. My husband and son shared some sushi and other random things. We also got the Korean style marinated steak which was a special. It was soft and perfectly seasoned. Great meal. I would here every night while in Eugene. I love the menu and they always have something I want to eat. The Lobster Jicama Tacos were new to me, served with crispy fried lobster, slaw and a sprinkling of jalapeno for a little kick. We also ordered the scallop roll which was perfect served with a spicy sauce. The former pastry chef I was dining with swears by the Great Wall of Chocolate Cake and it was a decadent as it gets. I was also surprised that they have a nice selection of beer on draft. I can't find it listed on the on-line menu but we had a dark beer with a "10" in the name and it was as good as an ale gets. We absolutely love this place a bit pricey but very good. This location was close to our hotel and has good parking. Our server was very nice, could have been a little more attentive. It was early and we were her only table. She never bought out all the sauces, I forgot about them until we after we left so I was disappointed we didn't get them but our meal was good. We order their lettuce wraps .. Awesome Pad Thai noodle which are my favorite And Kung Pau chicken and Mongolian beef all were delicious. I would go back and highly recommend to others. read more

Okay, the lettuce wrap appetizer was lovely. The wait person was attentative. The decor was okay. Ahhhh, that's it for positives. After the lettuce wraps, the rest of the food was meh at best. They deep fry the shrimp -- Golden food. Veggies are rare in the dishes. The bartender needed my help to make a Manhattan. The waitress was very nice, patient and attentive! Yippee! Howevwe, when she filled water glasses she balances the water pitcher in the lip f the glass, effectively sharing germs from everyone who is and has been in the restaurant all evening. Icky and horrid. The men's room was gross. Pee all over the floor beneath the urinal -- nit form one sloppy weenie wagger, but from dozens of dripper. I tried to spread my feet to not stand in the pee pond, but alas I left the men's room with other men's pee on the bottom of my shoes. To top this off, the garbage can was overflowing with paper towels and the sinks were dirty. Bottom line, food was meh, but gross on the germ side. read more

We were in Springfield visiting our daughter and she suggested we come here because she liked the Crab Wontons with plum sauce and the Vegetable Spring Rolls with chili sauce, both quite tasty, however my bride doesn't eat seafood and passed on the first item. For dinner my wife ordered the Kung Pao Chicken Spicy Sichuan chili sauce, peanuts, green onion, red chili peppers, my daughter the Orange Peel Chicken Hunan chili sauce, fresh orange slices and I the Surf & Turf Crisp shrimp and wild-caught lobster, cubed filet mignon, rustic potatoes, asparagus, shiitakes, savory butter glaze, which I hoarded, yum! All was very good and we were there a bit early so we beat any crowd and our waiter was attentive and liked to chat. This isn't about the food or service here which are passable and as expected for the chain. It's about a traumatic credit card payment experience I recently had. I had my card skimmed and cloned immediately after a purchase here. (They use the old-fashioned and totally non-secure swipe method.) My cloned card (hard copy) was then used in Chicago very near another P.F. Chang's. This has resulted in a long drawn-out nightmare of trouble and inconvenience. Chase Fraud clued me into this. I emailed P.F. Chang's Corporate, but was met with a mealy-mouthed response. Apparently, the chain has a history of this happening. As a long-time customer across several cities, I used to count on P.F. Chang's as an old reliable, and collected points and rewards for business and leisure use. No more. Post closure this place seems to be doing everything It should to maintain a clean and safe space; Lots of glove changing, lot of wiping things down, and hand sanitizer at the door,etc. I would recommend if you feel like eating out again after a few months of quarantine. Also the girl serving us was super nice and so was the girl that sat us. Everybody I encountered was really friendly actually. They seem genuinely happy to be working there so my praises definitely goto management as well read more

I never leave reviews. I also didn't see the reviews before going to this P.F. Chang's restaurant. I literally was in the restaurant about 5-10min and determined the unwelcoming service from the server. I asked to speak with the manager and the server sends out the Operating Partner. The Operating Manager seemed so mad and angry towards me because I gave her feedback about her staff member (1), the feedback wasn't even about her personally. I told her the server wasn't warm welcoming and seemed annoyed to be at work. I as the customer did not sign up for that. I had been traveling for hours and came to get a bite to eat. I did place an order to go because I was hungry and wanted to rest. The Operating Manager did give a discount on one of my items and I appreciated her effort to help the situation. I order from here every Christmas Eve and every year I'm disappointed. After spending $95 with tip, the kids Lo mein noodles were clumped together with over cooked chicken, my curry had 1 cube of tofu in it and so much basil on top, the "fresh" fruit cups were canned mandarin oranges with a couple blueberries thrown in, and lettuce wraps seemed to be a smaller amount than previous orders. I do love the food but it is pretty pricey. If you are on a budget you might want to stick with the lunch menu. The food options are plentiful and they do an Asian/American fusion twist. Seriously, the food is good. I have been going to P.F. Chang's for over ten years now and my staple dishes are still bomb.com! The adult beverages are awesome too. This current location is pretty small on the edge of a strip mall, and since we were there during the peak of dinner time we were feeling pretty squished and I kept scooting my chair in to let people pass. I'm going to shock the world here and give this particular Changs a 5 star rating. First our waitress was super nice and second we happened to stop by during happy hour. We ordered the California rolls, stringbeans, lettuce wraps, shrimp rolls, and tempura with vegetables. For two with a drink it came in under $40 dollars. The lettuce wraps were awesome and the portions are the same as the full regular price. We decided this would be enough for us and no need to order a dinner. So I gotta admit, we were very happy. Food was very very tasty, I got the crispy honey chicken with white rice and my boyfriend got the beef broccoli, tad bit on the expensive side but I would honestly pay a could extra dollars for prime Chinese food.
