Despite my table being a little dirty and sticky, service was good and foot was amazing. I've been to PF Changs throughout the West but this was my first visit to the Eugene location. Lunch crowd was a little smaller than what I'm used to but I'm not complaining. I ordered off the lunch special menu and it was prepared by an excellent chef and size portion was large. A great value! It's listed as Chinese under the local food scene but this isn't Chinese food. I may try their sushi the next time I'm in. read more

I have not been at PF Chang's in quite a while, this recent visit has definitely reminded me that I should go more frequently. I have quite a few dietary restrictions, which makes eating out at restaurants a lot more complex and at times overwhelming. Matthew came by and was able to reassure and explain the procedures surrounding allergens clearly, which helped me settle my anxiety. Matthew was able to further suggest delicious options for myself by also my partner (who doesn't have dietary restrictions), and the food was absolutely delicious. And to my surprise there was dessert that was safe for me to eat! An absolutely wonderful visit. read more

The crab wontons were a highlight--creamy, savory, actually tasted like crab. Tonight? No crab. Just so-called cream cheese. Don't gaslight me with "we added too much crab"--cream cheese isn't crab, and it's not cheap either. Spring rolls: crispy shell, soggy undercarriage. My husband ate them--he's like Mikey, he eats anything. So that's not a flex. Pork wontons: tooth-cracking shell, watery sad interior. Thought I bit into an unbaked clam. Outdated furniture. Not half bad! I ordered the Ma Po Tofu which wasn't even close to what I thought Mapo Tofu is supposed to be but was yummy nonetheless. It was lightly crisp and came with tons of broccoli and a great sweet and spicy sauce. Seen in the back is the lettuce wrap appetizer with chicken that I didn't try since I don't eat meat but I hear is fantastic. What brought us in was the Freakier Friday Collab my daughters and I are a huge fan of the movie. They wanted to come in and scan the QR code to enter their giveaway and also try their drinks which were really good. I had the spicy shrimp on Lo mein and a egg roll as an appetizer. The edamame was really good. Everybody at our table really loved all over their entrées and drinks. We loved the ambience. The decor is so cool. Customer service was great. I used to go to P.F. Chang's several times a year. I knew it wasn't authentic Chinese, food, but its Americanized version of that exotic oriental cuisine hit the spot. The food was always well prepared, made with quality ingredients, and there was a certain air of luxury inspired by the dark decor. It was the upscale version of the family Chinese restaurants that you always find in your neighborhood strip mall I tried PF Chang today after several year hiatus. The decor is still fairly upscale, but the food has taken a nose dive. My shrimp dish consist of a few overcooked shrimp, large chunks of red and green peppers but no discernible sauce or flavor. The fried rice - would you pay extra for Was dry and simply rice. No eggs, no vegetables, nothing that would suggest to me that it was made rather than just poured from a cereal box. The tea was Americanized, the salad was too. All in all, I think I've written off PF Chang. I will miss it. read more

Ordered takeout the other day for my mom and I, food was super good! We got the 2 person feast for $40 which is a very good deal in my opinion. We also added on a dessert for $8. For $40 you get, 2 sides (we got soup, salad), an appetizer (we got chicken lettuce wraps), 2 entrees (we got shrimp lo mein and crispy honey chicken) with white or brown rice. Very good deal for just $40, plus it left tons of leftovers for us. Lettuce wraps were super tasty, egg flower soup was very enjoyable. Entrees we got were super good. Cheesecake was delicious! We recently moved to Eugene and are on a quest to find decent Asian food. We really love Eugene but so far our quest has pretty much been unfulfilled. P F Chang's is also a no-go. I went for take-out today after a stressful medical appt, certain I didn't want to cook supper at home. I should have opened a can of soup. For $60, I got a "dinner special" which was a half-portion of tasteless "orange" chicken already piled onto a small bit of fried rice. Also some equally tasteless batter fried fried beans with some sort of wierd unpleasant pink dipping sauce and what was supposed to be "Singapore Street Noodles" that I imagine tasted like it had been scraped up off a Hong Kong sidewalk. I never knew what could happen to tiny shrimp, tiny morsels of chopped beef and chicken, all of which tasted like they'd been pre-fried to a dark brown crisp and left on a prep table to be available to toss into poorly seasoned greasy noodles. Then there were the two thick slices of ginger that were unpleasant and useless. If I were the head chef, I'd be embarrassed to put my name in the lobby as had been done. Oh and it was ridiculously noisy with (honestly) screeching "ambiance" music, so that staff had to practically yell at each other with voices that echoed off the non-acoustic walls. If this isn't enough to disuade you from patronizing this place, then sorry, I can't help you. To their credit, the staff were extremely nice - I just felt sorry for them that they had to work in such an environment. read more

My wife and I went for lunch and had a great experience. The food tasted good, the server, Grace, was attentive, friendly and prompt. I've reviewed PF Chang's before so you can tell I'm a fan. I only had one "issue" on this visit and I felt it might be worth sharing. They are serving some dishes that come to the table under glass with woods smoke for flavor. The problem is, my food started to taste smoked because of the smoke in the room. Don't get me wrong, I like smoked food but usually when I order it smoked. It was a detractor in this case. And my other issue is the prices are on the high side for what you get... Generally a pretty busy place when I dine here, but when I dined in this evening it was pleasantly quiet. Had a larger group and the waitress kept up with us often to make sure everyone was accommodated. I usually get a meat and rice combo plate but I decided to try the pad thai tonight. The noodles and toppings were amazing and added the perfect zest and texture. Unfortunately the peanut sauce was lackluster, the noodles were pretty plain to my preference. They weren't unappetizing, but they were dry compared to other places around town. Photo quality low because of their dim lighting :( read more

National chains always get a bad rap but this place is great. I've been there a few times and the service is always fast and polite--we've had Maggie (dark hair and glasses) as our server a few times and she's wonderful. I hope I got her name right! The food's always great and there's something about national chain Diet Coke that just slaps. Go order yourself the green beans and the Mongolian Beef and you'll be in for a chill, delicious evening. read more

So we know this place is world famous (the Irwin family even talks about the lettuce wraps) We have lived in Eugene for about 3 years and still hadn't been...until today! I am now regretting that I have wasted 3 years not going here. WOW. It was so good! We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps and it was so delicious! The tastes were very flavorful and we split it and go our own dishes. The lettuce wraps themselves could totally be a full meal for one person though. My husband got the Lo Mein and I tasted it - honestly best Lo Mein I've ever tried. I can't wait to go back and have it for my meal. The pomegranate lemonade was really good, I also tried the strawberry lemonade and it was my favorite of the two! Can't wait to go back! We went in last night for dinner. A young gal greeted us and sat us. Very warm welcome. We arrived in town for my Sons orientation at the U of O. So we were hungry as well as tired from travel. As soon as we sat we had a young women greet us named Roxanne. Se was great asked what she could get us to drink as well as if we would like a app. Went and got that going then asked what we would like for a main course. Great food. Staff almost always sweet. Wait service usually friendly. I will say my grandson is highly allergic to peanuts and when we told the waitress on one occasion she immediately brought us a separate menu and the cook came out and told us it would be cooked in a separate area. I just wanted to give thanks where thanks is due. We didn't have to make a big deal at all to stress how important it is. They knew. My husband and I had reservations for Valentine's night. Crazy crowded. Manager Brittany remembered us from being there in JULY. We were whisked away from the crowds and noise to a perfect table in the bar, where believe it or not it was quieter than the restaurant! Bartender/server Shawn took excellent care of us despite having to tend bar. Ron enjoyed a pomegranate lemonade and I had a perfect dirty martini. The "new" lettuce wraps arrived in a timely fashion despite the restaurant being packed. We were assured that if we didn't like the new sauce, the former was available. We both agreed that the new style of lettuce was much better than iceberg. It held the filling and didn't take being a master at levitation to get to our mouths. Entree's were to our specs and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Shawn even remembered my asking for extra sauce. We decided to box up about half of our meals so we could try the individual desserts. I was in chocolate/peanut butter heaven with mine and Ron loved his red velvet cake with cream cheese and whipped cream. Manager Brittany managed to check in with us more than once, as well as several other staff breezing through. Somehow, someway, the staff at this location made probably the most crazy night of the year be one of the most pleasant and enjoyable meal we've had in a loooong time. Huzzah! to P.F. Chang's Eugene.
