Don't really like the food. When I came here for the first time my whole family got food poisoning

This place has gone downhill. No more half price appetizers unless you're in the bar, no more sauce fixings on the table for convenience, and the quality of the food has diminished. Crispy honey shrimp is now soggy honey shrimp. What was once one of my favorite restaurants, has turned into my least. I'll give one star up from poor for the service. I'm with Claire V. on PFC's mixed reviews. Certainly it can be bad, but it can also be reliably good, even close to great. Key for me is to order carefully, ask for recs and read Yelp reviews. Try the very good dim sum (pork shu mai, and especially, the nearly perfect shrimp har gow), or lettuce wraps for instance. There's a lot of dull, overpriced bland salty food on the menu. I love this place, Chinese is a favorite of a lot of people and going into this place you know you're not going to have a hard time ordering... They have all of your favorites and they have it fresh and well cooked. The service here was great and they didn't let too much time pass before they checked on us. The atmosphere is relaxed, dim, classy, you want to just sit and talk so we took a while to order. The waiter came and we just ordered the first couple things on the chicken menu. The sweet and sour chicken and one other chicken I can't remember and of course we got the chicken lettuce wraps.... You can't go without the wraps. It was all delicious. I don't eat Chinese often but I've been to some terrible places, that's probably why I don't... So from now on I'm going here. It's always good. read more

I was a little worried coming here because of some mediocre reviews. My husband and I took the gamble and we really enjoyed our meal here. To eat, my husband had the spicy chicken, I had the sesame chicken, and we shared the vegetable lo mein. The portions are generous, we left full and had leftovers for another meal. The food is flavorful and the temperature was perfect. They give you extra plates to make sharing easier. But, what I enjoyed most here was the service. The wait staff were attentive and nice. We were checked on throughout our meal and we didn't have to wait for the check when we were done. It was a refreshing experience compared to a lot of other restaurants in the area. Staff boxing up your leftovers at table side is also a nice touch. The menu has a large variety of food including sushi, and the traditional Chinese restaurant dishes. One thing to add: please don't go here if you want a burger (we overheard a lady asking if they had them on the menu... They don't). read more

We may have had our last P.F. Chang's meal. It seems that the prices continue to increase while quality goes down. The scallops were definitely frozen and had a real fishy taste, not pleasant at all. The various noodle dishes were bland and heretofore had been one of the favorites. $98.15 for food for three not including drinks they are quickly pricing themselves out of the market. read more

I've eaten here a few times with friends and never been as impressed as they are, but what the hey, I know I can be a bit of a snob. The appetizers and the fancy drinks are the best things going here. The crab won tons and the dumplings (with any of their fillings) are excellent. While more interesting and flavorful than most Chinese food you'll get elsewhere in town, the half dozen entrees that I've sampled weren't anything that special. I love the dimly-lit, swank decor, but be aware that the dining room can get quite loud if you go at peak times. The bar is quieter, if you don't mind the occasional sound of a blender. read more

We were up for ordering take out from a usual place, but that was already closed by 7pm. Thus, PF Chang, which I've wanted to try for a while. The online ordering was very easy. The PF Chang order was ready in about 15 minutes; I picked up inside at the hostess stand (the restaurant was doing some socially distanced dine in in good fashion). Very impressed with the design of to-go packaging choice they use .. have never seen it before! A little like tv dinner style, with one section for the brown rice and the other larger section for the entree. So as to the resulting food choices: I look forward to trying them a few more times (and perhaps consult reviews here) to find my more favorite dishes. Overall, not fantastic food, rather enjoyably sufficient. The appetizer, Crispy Green Beans, definitely nice, and ample serving size. The side dipping sauce definitely has a kick. Shrimp with Lobster sauce was our more preferred main course; would order that again. Ginger Chicken with Broccoli, was rather uninteresting. Again, will try this local PF Chang a couple of more times in the coming months, and hope to find our favorites! read more

I will not come back here. We went here for a friend's birthday Wednesday night. I had never been before, and was NOT impressed. We were a larger group, and had probably 3 different people waiting on us, which caused confusion for everyone - giving people the wrong dishes, drinks, etc. One of the waiters kept bumping into me and didn't apologize once. And the food - yuck!!! I ordered the Lo Mein with beef. It was super salty and literally had 6 tiny pieces of meat in it, which were chewy and gross. I don't think P.F. Chang's China deserve two and half star. The atmosphere is good, and the measure is just right. Highly recommend: Don't go to this place on weekend, first you will wait for a long time, second the dishes are not good as the normal time, because of busyness?? Recommend: CHANG'S SPICY CHICKEN(it's good eatting with rice) MONGOLIAN BEEF (Personal poinion, white rice is better than brown rice. brown rice is kind of too hard to chew...) "$39.95 for Four-Course Meal for Two!" is really worthy. You can choose two entrees and order an additional vegetables dish, which is best choice for two pepole. It will cost around 50 bucks for two totally. The TIRAMIS and TRIPLE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE are really tasty. PF Changs has always been one of my favorites in Phoenix, AZ . I have moved to Oregon and recently dropped in to their Eugene location for a nice dinner on a Friday afternoon. I ordered a dynamite scallop roll and orange peel beef with iced tea. After waiting waay too long , the roll was served. It had a horrible fishy smell and the interior of the roll looked like chopped white fish- not a scallop in sight . I sent it back without a bite. After another waaay too long wait, the orange peel beef was served. The gray , stringy beef was- old-. It looked and tasted like it had been frozen, nuked and tossed in a previously made sauce which was also probably frozen. I ate a few bits and left with no take home box. This location has had bad reviews and I really couldn't believe that my old favorite was that bad- but- it is. Today was my last visit at the Eugene location. read more

I swear it came straight from the frozen food section of Albertsons. 40% meat served with a huge side of rice. Divided on a tray, The first bite of chicken was so salty I couldn't eat it. Absolutely awful service. Me and my girlfriend went at 8:45 on a Sunday night and were seated immediately. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we sat there for nearly 30 minutes and no one came to bring us water, offer us drinks or take our order. We decided to leave and on the way out I said something to the host about how I was disappointed. They said "Ok" and that was it, no apology. I will never be returning here again. read more

Took my niece and her son here today, they had never been. It was her birthday and she loved it. There was a problem with the surf and Turf she ordered, as they hadn't "cleaned" the lobster good... we told our waitress and she took it into the manager to show him. FOOD: Soups - looked and tasted like Fancy Feast cat food...(the egg drop and hot and sour soups) Crab Wontons - Exactly what you'd expect. The best food we ate there but how bad can fried food dipped in sweet and sour be? Ginger Chicken with Broccoli - Boiled to imperfection with a chicken stock/teriyaki sauce poured over it. Flavorless and sad. Cantonese Shrimp - Again, boiled, with some flavorless goo poured over the top. Margarita - They actually got it right! Delicious but not worth $9. Desert - Served in a shot glass...? Why? To make it seems like the prix pixe menu is a deal, when it is not. Service - She was prompt and friendly, sorry she has to work for such a sorry establishment. This place is an Asian version of the Olive Garden. The food tastes fine but it relies heavily on fat and salt for flavor. I could probably get a microwave dinner of similar quality for a much better price. So glad PF Changs came to Eugene! They even gave me a discount membership card in the mail which is pretty personal and makes me want to come back. The lettuce wraps, alcholic drinks, and service is very exceptional. I don't mind paying a higher price for better quality food & service here. Extremely marginal. I've never been to a PF Chang's but have heard "it's so great" a number of times. 3 of us decided to try dinner here, and found the food disappointing and MEDIOCRE at best. The dim sum was fine but each entree that we had was BLAND, FLAVORLESS and BORING. i have booked many birthday parties every january under mariah. loved this place. will never be back- and most parties ranged from 5-20people. dine in, i've always asked for the lettuce wraps no mushroom. every server has said "allergy or preference" and i've said both. i made a grubhub order and there was no option for no mushrooms. i called immediately and talked to two nice girls who were helpful. the take out lady said the manager or whatever role he plays, Dan, said they never do that and it's never an option. i told her that has to be untrue because i've always had parties there without mushroom. dan came on the line and said "you're wrong. you've always ate mushroom here it's in all wraps". ok dan you work at p.f. chang's chill. that's rude to say to any customer. when there's mushroom it looks like a puddle of nasty mud water. no mushroom, i can see every golden piece of chicken. i've always talked to Jon i believe was the older gentleman who has been amazing and booked all my parties. will not be going here anymore. not classy and rude nowadays. read more

I was so excited when PFC came to town, but not for long. Yes, it has a decent atmosphere. Yes, the food looks good. However, this is the most bland, tasteless Chinese food I've ever eaten. I don't know how something that looks so good can be lacking so much flavor! Every. Single. Item. I tried several times thinking maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Nope. After the third flavorless try, I gave up. To top it off the prices are ridiculous! I'd rather eat cheap, low quality Lok Yaun, it's kind of gross, but at least has flavor! read more

You know what, P.F. Chang's was a restaurant I never had any interest in going to by when nothing was open on the 4th of July they really impressed me and I will definitely be going back. I came in here late with two other members of my family and we were seated right away since it was a holiday and pretty empty inside. The restaurant itself was a lot nicer than I had imagined with a bar as well as a large dining room with booths, tables and even a small outdoor patio. The mood was calm and relaxing. None of us had been to this chain before but the waitress walked us through the menu and was very helpful answering our questions. We ordered a few items but I know the Kung Pao Chicken was one of our favorite items of the night. We were, however, disappointed with the surf and turf dish which had steak, lobster and shrimp. The flavor was alright but there were only 3 tiny chunks of lobster that we eat got the smallest bite. For 24$ it wasn't worth the money but they were very understanding when we told them this and took it off our bill which we didn't expect but greatly appreciated. We had some other dishes I can't remember but we left happy, full and grateful for the people who worked on a holiday! read more

Management staff should have helped her out. We were seated in about 15 minutes. Extensive menu. Server was polite, but she, too, looked overwhelmed. Ordered egg drop soup as a starter, and it seemed as if it took forever to get it to our table. Food was good, but not memorable. Servings are incredbly large so consider splitting entrees. We came here to have lunch and are unimpressed. We used to love PF Chang's in Arizona. I ordered the crab wontons, chicken egg rolls, and crispy honey chicken. The crab wontons aren't much to talk about. The chicken egg rolls were delicious but the sweet and sour mustard was not good. The honey chicken was awful. There was no flavor outside of vinegar. It was very, very vinegary. My husband ordered the Kung Pao chicken and he said he had the same experience with vinegar. The service was great and the restaurant was clean.
