I've come here a couple of times. The place is small but has a cute ambiance! I've tried the small tangsuyuk and it was crispy not too salty. The cold noodles and jjajangmyeon are great here too. The portion sizes are a bit larger than normal so be prepared. My favorite thing to order here is the galbitang. The rib bones they give actually come meaty! No issues with parking here either. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Came here twice and they have pretty good service. I say the ambiance is pretty homely with the tables and deco. Water and tea is self-served. I got dumpling soup the first time and I really enjoyed the flavor of the soup. It also included rice cakes. The portion is pretty big too. I think the portions overall are good at Otto Kitchen. Two of my other friends got a rice and noodle dish and both portions were huge. They each seemed to be for 2 people. The second time I got kimbap, which was pretty good. I think you get about 8 rolls or more. I also got jajangmyeon and thought the portion was worth the money. I do wish the sauce was thicker and had more potatoes and veggies. read more

I'm not Korean, but I love Korean dishes, not only their BBQ. I'll summarize it as a small place with average food. Weird that you have to get your own water and I had to ask for kimchi (?). I had "champ-on" :-) and had very little seafood (I found 1 shrimp, 3 mussels and 2 short calamari tentacles). I called ahead and asked if their food was prepared with MSG. They were very nice and said that some dishes were but they would be happy to prepare anything that I wanted without it. Great! Most Korean restaurants don't offer the option to prepare without it. I got there pretty late about 8 PM on a weeknight and they were a few people there the server came over right away and took my order. I ordered the fried dumplings and the pork katsu because I was in the mood for fried stuff as you could see. They served with pickled radish and kimchee which were both really good. The dumplings came out pretty quick and had a really great dipping sauce. The Pork Katsu was a big serving and had a really good sauce as well. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was excellent and I am looking forward to going back to try some other dishes! read more

If you want a cheap, quality, Korean meal, come here! We came here around 7:30pm and immediately got seated. The restaurant is decently sized, but it can get really crowded during lunch time (be sure to come after the rush). The menu had a decent variety of Korean food. As you wait for your food, there's a self serve water and tea area, as well as sauces. They also provide small dishes of radish and kimchi as appetizers (which you can also get refills on!) Really loved our server Jasmin!!! I didn't know what the nangmyeon was, but she gave a good explanation and told me her preference on the noodles. The noodles I got were in a cold, spicy broth, perfect for the summer weather! They put ice in it, which kept my noodles cold throughout the whole meal. The noodles were very unique; they have a slight vinegar taste, but it mixed well with the spicy sauce. Small restaurant in the corner of a lot near Paris Baguette. This is my go to spot for JaJangMyeon and Tang Su Yuk (similar to Chinese sweet and sour pork). I've tried the kimchi fried rice, which I don't recommend as it was a little bland, but I definitely recommend the black bean noodles and pork. Portions are large - you can probably feed about four people with one order of the noodles and one order of the pork. They give you plenty of sauce when you order to go, too. Prices may seem a bit high for the location, but you get plenty of (good) food. read more

I think the jajamein was the weakest dish. A little too dry, but that could have been because we got it togo. But other than that the service was fast and friendly. Generous portions and kind service! I got the kal guk su and my friends got the kimchi fried rice and the nengmyon. I'm a sucker for hand pulled noodles and the clam broth was very soothing after a long day. There was plenty of noodles in the bowl as well! For someone who can't really handle spicy food, I could still handle the spiciness of the kimchi fried rice and the nengmyon! I reallllly liked the kimchi fried rice - a little sweet and flavorful. 《Interior = 4/5》 First thing I noticed is that the place is very small. So, there isn't much room for large parties if you're planning on bringing a large group of people to eat at this place. Granted they can fit 6/7 people together by bringing two tables together, but more than that is going to be difficult for the place to accommodate. Besides that, they have your very own self-service where you get your drinks (e.g. water). 《Service = 3.5/5》 Quick to order, but there seem to be a lag on the staff when it came to asking them for an extra small bowl. It took a couple of tries to finally get what was asked. 《Food = 4/5》 I order the Spicy Jajangmyeon(Black Bean Noodle) with Pork and it was pretty good. Preferably I would like to up the spiciness a bit, but for those who has a low tolerance for spicy food, it is the right amount. Portion-wise, it could definitely be share between 2 people. I was able to finish mine completely (phew), but if you don't have a big appetite I recommend sharing the bowl with another person because it is a lot to take in. read more

I love to eat, and refuse to eat anything I don't think taste good. REFUSE. 4. I don't mind spending money to eat well. 5. My parents owned two sandwich shops while I was growing up. I worked there as a kid, through college and beyond, so I'm a big fan of mom and pop shops. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best little shop around when it comes to standard, good, cheap-er Korean food. I just love it. Why you should come and visit: 1. Menu: It's not intimidating. They have pictures with almost everything. Even people who don't read Korean or understand Korean have a good time ordering here. 2. Friendly staff: Don't take this wrong but tiny hole in the wall places by Asian-Americans aren't always the most friendly places. THIS IS NOT LIKE THAT. The ladies here are SO POLITE, SO PATIENT. I've seen them wait on people who obviously have never had Korean food before. They smile, make recommendations, and are so polite. I was super impressed with this. 3. Good prices: We live in a place where prices are ridiculous. And they can charge it because of where we are. This place isn't like that. I'm really glad I can have good eats for under $10 in a sit down place. I highly recommend the first two items on the menu. Honestly, don't try anything else unless you're dying to know. There is a reason why those dishes are #1 and #2. I would say unless you like it REALLY spicy, stick to medium or mild. Even the mild has a bit of a kick (I'm thinking of all my mild-tongued friends outside of CA). Fair warning! Great place to take your kids and friends from out of town. For some reason, this place is still called "E-TeliYaki" on the outside of it... I have no idea why, but it made it quite difficult to find, even when the entire lot was completely empty. I was looking for OTTO the entire time... I was excited for this place because of the great reviews I read here, but I was slightly disappointed in the food that I received. I ordered the kimbap and was sad when I got it because it was like 80% rice. It wasn't filling at all and didn't have much flavor either since it was just all rice. I also tried some of my friend's kimchi fried rice and I didn't think it was all that great either. I thought this place was just ~okay~ It's more traditional Korean food so it definitely has that "home sweet home" feel to it. This place has great food I have been coming here for a while. I came yesterday and was very disappointed with the service. Usually you come in and seat yourself, shortly after someone brings you a menu and takes your order. Yesterday evening I sat myself with my daughter for about 10 minutes no one came to the table and when they did they asked if we were waiting for a friend. I said no we would like to order and was told to order at the register. Im Mexican and my daughter is bi racial I thought well it's a pandemic maybe they are doing things differently. I was wrong shortly after four Asian men came in sat down just like I was and they brought menus to their table and asked if they wanted water. One of my favorite little spots to pick up dinner near my job when i have a late work night. Made fresh to order and satisfying when you are hangry. The portions are large so you can definitely share. My favorites are the kimchi fried rice, sweet-and-sour pork, Mongolian beef noodles, and of course the teriyaki plates. Outside says "e-teliyaki" - looks like OTTO is a new restaurant and hasn't changed over the signage. Inside, the restaurant gives off a cute homey vibe. The service is great - friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. Had the naeng myeon (spicy, cold broth), toppoki, and kimbap. All were delicious!!! The prices here are very reasonable also - dinner was $20 plus some change for two people. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE OTTO KITCHEN. Food: I've literally had over 10 items on their menu and loved EVERY dish. There are a good variety of Korean foods and the portions are extremely generous as well. I particularly love the (Cold Buckwheat Noodle Soup), (Deep-fried Sweet and Sour Pork), and (Stir-fried Squid and Pork). Again, everything here is good but my three favorite dishes are MUST-have!!!! Service: I am always amazed with the good service. The servers are quick to respond and always respectful. You will not be disappointed with the service! If you are feeling American Korean, this is the place to go. I had gotten the donkatsu and my wife got the jjajangmyeon The donkatsu tasted good. Pretty standard fried pork but the sauce had elevated the dish. It was a sweet brown sauce. The kimchi side dish was a bit dryer that what I like. They also give radish side dish. The jjajangmyeon was also pretty good. The sauce stuck to the noodles pretty well. The noodles were soft and large. I got all the food as take out and it took less than 10 mins to prepare it all. Husband and I were in the area and wanted Korean-Chinese food, so we stopped by. The place itself is cute and clean, and service is pretty friendly, although most of them are older ajummas. We ordered the jjajangmyun and the jjamppong -- extra spicy. When we received our food, we were shocked at how large the portions were. Two people could easily share the jjamppong. However, it wasn't spicy at all!! It had the potential to be really good, if it had any sort of spice to it. The jjajangmyun was fine, not amazing. Overall, food is a solid 3 stars, but considering the service and portion sizes, it's worth 4 stars. read more

This place has a really good spicy cold noodle with broth. The serving size is big and comes with broth on the side when you order togo. I usually order togo from here and they take the time to package it very well in nice container and put the soup on the side. There is radish and cucumber that comes with the noodles. There's no meat it in but I do not think it comes with meat at any other restaurant either. They also pack kimchi and pickled radish with the togo order which is very nice. The food takes about 15 minutes to be made after you place the phone order so it gives me just enough time to come pick it up without having to wait there. There's also a sauce area if you like to add extra chili or vinegar to your dish and there's sauce containers for it. read more

The food here is fresh; but it is not tasty. I ordered the traditional beef and chicken bowl combo. Both the proteins were soft and cooked well. However, it was not seasoned enough it can use stronger spices - it became bland halfway eating it. The combo meal includes many items: white rice, salad (mostly cabbage & lettce) with light dressing, and two egg rolls. The rice is soft and the salad adds an extra crunch to the heavy meat and rice. The egg rolls were filled with vegetables and they were crispy on the outside. A combo meal is good to share with two people as they give you plenty of proteins and carbs. For most of the combo meals it comes with miso soup serve piping hot. They also provide many sides: radish, kimchi, and all types of sauces. They give enough sides for the meal where you do not have to order extras. The sides are fresh and they give you the right one that helps compliment the meal. The menu has many items from cold soups to sushi if you are looking for something different. The prices are affordable and you get plenty for what you pay for which is great. There are many seatings inside as this is an actual restaurant and there is practically no wait for large parties having many large tables available. This restaurant might be a little hard to find as this is the only restaurant in the plaza it is located in. Driving by you can tell you found it with the many cars parked outside, this is in a plaza where it does not get crowded and you might pass it driving by. They are close on Sundays and close early during the week at 8 so no late night cravings if you need it. read more

I placed an order on the phone for dinner, and was very pleased with the food. I got the spicy jjajamyeon and fried dumplings. The spicy jjajangmyeon was unlike any jjajangmyeon I had before, as the sauce was thick. It was spicy as well, so beware towards people who can't handle spice! Flavor wise it was great, but it just had a thicker consistency than what I was used too. It also had some potatoes inside, which was new to me but worked together well! The fried dumplings were deep fried, and not pan fried and had a beef filling- it was alright but I definitely enjoyed the jjajangmyeon more. I also wanted to order kimbap but they said they didn't have it anymore when I called. The order took about 15 minutes, and pick up was a breeze. So I was crakin open a cold one with the boys on a chilly Thursday night during bowling and when we decided we wanted to grab some delicious Korean food. We heard about this place from another friend and so we decided to check it out. First off this place was POPPIN for Thursday night. I came in and was told that there would be a 15 minute wait. There wasn't anywhere to sit and wait but lemme tell you it was definitely worth it. After we were seated immediately and pointed to a self serve water/hot tea station. Idk what kind of tea they're using, but I'm pretty sure it was grown in a land where stress doesn't exist because the first sip of that tea instantly melted all of mine away. But I digress; it's time for the real part of this review. Our waitress, Sujan, recommended we try the ja ja man and fried dumplings. We ordered that and these dumplings were crispy like you've never SEEN. They were crispy and juice and you can tell the Mexicans in cooking in the back know what's up (major props btw). The ja ja man BOMB DOT COM.BBCSULB.DESIRE2LEARN.EDU I have no idea what it was because it was noodles with a black sauce that was the closest thing to real life magic I've ever experienced.
