Rustic luxury decor with multi-level dining -- mostly high-top tables on the first floor and exotic upper-level seating arrangements. The food was very good. Got the gnocchi, verdure pizza, baked ricotta and a the phony martini. The phony martini had a subtle smokiness and good flavoring. The baked ricotta came with a flatbread and it was absolutely delicious. Large serving. The gnocchi was boiled to perfection, fairly good aromatic flavoring, fresh basil atop though nothing that blew me off my feet. The personal veggie pizza was delicious, great underbread-char. Slightly soggy core but that's fairly standard for American personal pies. Attentive and very friendly service.

Went back in 2023 I believe it was so good but forgot about the review but never forgot the experience and the food. It was awesome. Everything from a-z about this place. My suggestion is if you have a big group get something different and share. Soooo awesome. The dessert was amazing too. I suggest sitting in the back if possible. It was the atmosphere. This is one on my list to come back for SPECIFICALLY when going back to nyc.

Penne Alla Vodka Spaghetti Pomodoro

Ordered the penne and it was nothing special at all. The sauce was very watery with no flavor. Spaghetti was better and the sauce was good but nothing to rave over. Hostess was very kind and bubbly, but waitress came across and rude and short. There's much better out there

This Italian spot was... fine. Not terrible, not amazing, just one of those places that gets the job done if you're hungry, but doesn't leave you excited to come back. The food was decent. A couple of the pasta dishes were solid, others were forgettable. Nothing stood out as particularly fresh or flavorful, but it wasn't bad either just very average. The real downside? It's not ideal for large groups. The way the ordering/seating process works (whether it's limited space, odd table arrangements, or a clunky ordering system) makes it feel chaotic and a bit frustrating when you're with more than a few people. The menu is family style with limited selection amounts so it makes picking and choosing limited. If you're in the area and grabbing a quick dinner with one or two friends, it'll do. But if you're with a group hoping for a smooth, fun Italian night out, this isn't the spot.

Brunch pizza w egg on top.

Stopped by without a reservation due to being at Central Park in the morning. We waited for the restaurant to open essentially and were seated right away. Service was quick. We got the brunch a few of the party getting the bottomless. The mimosa was good the white sangria was not. Ambiance is casual. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant is spacious. Food was good.

Wood Fired Rosemary Wings

The mushroom pizza, pasta, salad, and wings was yummy asf!! Friendly staff! Good vibes coming up from the upstairs seating after visiting the museum of natural history.

Been here three times and it never disappoints. Service is so great, kind, and quick, as well as very accommodating of allergies. Food is family style (at least when I've come) and is plentiful and tasty. Vibes are on point- cozy, classy, and hip at the same time. Great for groups!

This place had wonderful reviews but for us something went amiss. The outdoor tent seating was perfectly fine but we felt forgotten; took forever to get a drink order I had to ask about ordering. I speak Spanish our sodas were diet I asked the busboy to switch them out because we hadn't ordered diet . We nice I did the new waiter not our waitress was better . The good as my daughter described it was like diner food ... which discounts how great diner can be but the pasta wasn't amazing . My fish had the skin on top and it covered not crusted in almonds .look you can have an off night but when the service and food are terrible it's a no . I added a star because my waiter at the end was kind . It's clear we won't return.

First time at this establishment. I've heard nothing but good news about this place. This is a nice cozy bar get away. The hospitality will make you come back. The food is fresh and tasty. The libations are great! My Aperol Spritz was delicious! The service here is on point. The staff here knows their craft and does it well. Keep up that great work! If you're ever in the area. GET SOME!!!

After a bad experience a few years ago, I knew I had to go back and I'm glad I did. Stopped in for Sunday Brunch and it was such a nice experience. Food was so good. There were 3 of us and all 3 meals were good. Mushroom Omelet- Three Egg omelet with Mushrooms & Parmesan. Served with hot crunchy French fries and a salad. French Toast- 2 thick over sized slices of bread cooked with a nice crust on the outside and topped with fresh strawberries and hot maple syrup....yum! Meatball Panini- Wood fired Panini stuffed with Meatballs, Mozzarella, and Cottas goodTomato Sauce. Great menu. Brunch served Saturday and Sunday 11-3:30. Prices are reasonable and service was very good.

Food 5/10 Went here for brunch and the food was alright. Got an omelette and the toast came out cold. Atmosphere 8/10 Nice interior and plenty of space, two floors. Service 4/10 Took forever for the food to come up, it was an hour until we got to eat. Disappointing. They gave us a free chocolate cake though as an apology. Felt bad for the waiter he was the only person staffed :(

Food was fantastic and the service was great. Be warned, MUST have a reservation if going during peak hours, this is a very small restaurant and seating is incredibly limited. The tables can also be shared with other parties depending on which table you are sat. We ordered the calamari, penne vodka, truffle fries and a margarita pizza. The fries were absolutely to die for. Would absolutely go back.

We enjoyed sitting outside on a weekday night. Outdoor dining here has a better atmosphere during warmer days when there aren't any tents set up. We ordered the rucola pizza and the hanger steak. The pizza was delicious, but the steak was a bit too chewy for us. Service was very attentive. For dessert, we tried the Nutella calzone, which featured a blend of ricotta cheese and Nutella. It wasn't overly sweet but was quite filling due to the bread.

"Things to Consider":…read more 1. Food - fine if you want to pay hotel prices for food that you can get at a New Jersey or Long Island mall at much lower prices. Paper plates, plastic cutlery and pita chips warmed and served in the bags they came in. 2. Service - non-existent. No staff members acknowledge your arrival. You either have to wave madly or go to the bar and ask for a drink. The staff is always closing early with the staff excuse that "we are not busy" yet guests are routinely turned away. The staff is not happy and begrudge being there. DO NOT believe in the hours posted on the website. There is a built-in clientele but the staff can't wait to close it down. I don't know what is wrong with management but they have lost the plot. 3. Ambience - The space could be so much better than it is. The lighting is okay but the seating in the bar area is not appropriate. The adjoining cafe has a better feeling. Ambience has a lot to do with making guests feel welcome - this staff doesn't understand the meaning of hospitality but they should not be blamed. It is clear they have no training and are not held to any standard. If you want to go to a great space, go to the Wallace Hotel around the corner (I am NOT affiliated with them... have just gone there many times). It is so sad to see a place with such potential be so poorly run, especially as they have such little competition. The Arthouse Bar has the potential to be THE leading cocktail/music/late-night bar on the Upper West Side.

I mean it's drenched in butter... it's obviously going to be delish. the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and layered in salt. weird to have to ask for mayo but they did bring it out. - the, albeit pretty, veggie sides I felt were unnecessary and borderline cold so unclear on how much they really added the meal - the Tarte Tatin à la mode was a win around the table. the apple melted in your mouth. the Poire belle Hélène was good but paled in comparison
