We love to get their breakfast burrito to-go. Made very fresh and with great flavor. The salsa that comes on the side is also phenomenal. Highly recommend their other dishes as well. They have picnic table seating outside for the warmer days and inside seating for the colder ones. We always receive top notch service from the staff and our order is always made promptly. They are good so they get really busy at times and there may be a long wait. This is a must-eat when visiting town! The first day I tried the huevos rancheros with 2 arepas, shredded chicken, black beans, queso fresco and home fries. I had never had arepas, so I was eager to try them and they were delicious! As we were eating, a plate went past on its way to another diner and I called over our server to ask what it was. It was the nasi goreng plate, which I had considered before choosing the huevos. So the next day, true to our word, we returned. No need for menus, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted: nasi goreng! A GENEROUS serving of Indonesian style rice stir fried with finely diced veggies, sautéed shrimp and shredded chicken, topped with a perfectly sunny egg and garnished with 3 beautiful prawn crackers. WOW! An absolute winner! Both days hubs went with his standard egg, bacon, pancake breakfast and was very happy with his choice as well. Staff is polite, however, we were there for almost an hour and a half. Forty five minutes just waiting for the food. I understand everything is cooked to order, but at no time did staff say anything, apologize, or just acknowledge it was slow. Food was ok to good. The avacado toast, very bland. Deeeeelishious!! We stopped in for brunch this morning and enjoyed two of the yummiest meals we've had for breakfast ever. The French toast breakfast was extraordinary -- caramelized on the outside, custardy inside with a subtly different flavor from any French toast I've ever eaten. The accompanying eggs and bacon were a perfect compliment. My husband ordered the arepas -- a goat cheese variation of Colombian/Venezuelan corn cakes that were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They were simply incredible! We can hardly wait to go back to have them again. The Osprey is small and popular so expect to wait but it is well worth it. It's cozy inside and has outside eating areas as well. This is a neat little place in Seaside. They have kind of an espresso shop inside their cafe. I called prior to arriving to see if I could put in my name on a wait list for breakfast. The lady who answered put me on hold for 5 minutes so I finally just hung up. We got there and the place was really busy on a sunday morning around 11:30am. They lady told me it would be about 30 minutes wait. We got seated after about 20 mins. It's a pretty small place. I got the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs over medium. It was pretty good. I also got a cappuccino and I liked that. Others in my group got shrimp Benedict, breakfast burrito, and the steelhead Omlette. They enjoyed their meals. Someone recommended Osprey Cafe for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. -Small place, but nice and cozy. - Friendly staff. - With the tables full, and no one in front of us, we had a 20 minute wait, in which you can leave and walk around and wait for a call when your table is ready. Super convenient! - I had the Smoked Salmon Scramble. This dish came with home fries, which I wish was a little more seasoned. But the Smoked Salmon Scramble was the best!!! My gf had the chilaquiles, and she loved it. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. This place had got to be the best in Seaside and probably on the entire Oregon Coast. read more
