If I had to choose one pizza spot in the whole world to go to, it would be Original Pizza on Ralph Ave. This pizza is not only the best to me but it comes with so many memories so as stopping here after school in JH, grabbing a late night bite to eat with my boyfriend or being the best meal after a smoke sesh *shushhh* lol..... This review is for a delivery order. The actual delivery was fine, nothing wrong with that as it got here when they said they would via uber eats. I had such fond memories of the pizza at Original's, but I guess that's mainly because I ate it there. There's something to be said for having pizza straight out of the oven and it loses a little something when you get it delivered. In our case, it just wasn't our favorite. What really disagreed with us was how salty everything was. We ordered plain and supreme slices, which was fresh mozzarella and tomato. Other than that, the slices were ok. The crust was cooked exactly the way I requested, which was regular baked as opposed to well done. And the pizza itself was tasty, just a bit too much salt. Very good pizza at this establishment. My friend and I ordered a whole pie. Of course it was cooked fresh in the oven. Came out piping hot and delicious. I was able to eat two slices there. My friend ate 4!!! Place was packed for a Sunday evening. That's how you know, it's pretty popular. They had outback outdoor seating as well. It felt good to eat outside with the hot pizza. A solid night owl spot. Many have spoken about this place, but I never ventured in. Caught in a bind with no dinner at 12:30am and here I was. The staff is very friendly and on first name basis with the regulars - which is always a nice touch. To me it means repeat repeat repeat customers which translates into good food. I had wings and fries, yes at a pizza joint. My table mate had a grilled chicken salad. You know hind sight vision is 20/20? Wish I got the salad. It looked good so I tasted it. Fresh, greens and oh so tasty moist chicken. Next time I know better. Not to take away from the wings and fries which was good, the salad is a great option. I have already been back, to try the pizza, on the recommendation of yet another person who apparently frequents Original. I work very close to this pizza shop, and I've never came in until today. Let me start off by saying this pizzeria is a neighbor gem as it's been in the area for years . It gets very crowded but they move quickly and get their customers served in a timely manner. The workers are very welcoming sweet and kind . The owner and I were talking and he is just so down to earth and warm . I ordered a large cheese pizza (my son's request). It was $22 and more than worth it. It was thin, cheesy, and just all around a GREAT TASTING cheese pizza . My son also enjoyed it as well . Please keep in mind they ONLY TAKE CASH so that your not caught off guard if you try to pay with a card. I will definitely be returning to originals pizza . I hate to have to write this review. I've been coming here and ordering from them for years. I've been ordering the same thing every Wednesday for months; one regular pie and one half extra cheese and half pepperoni. Today I ordered at 4:43 pm and the pizza showed up at my door 4:58pm. The half extra cheese and pepperoni was uncooked. As I lifted a slice off, all the cheese slid off. (See picture) IMO, I think they rushed it because they know my order/house and I tip them well. I called to let them know and they said "well that happens with extra cheese." I responded with, "I've been ordering this every week for weeks and never had an issue." Wtf!!? So because one driver wants to be greedy and selfish, my pizza has to be uncooked??? This is why people stop being nice and stop tipping drivers. read more

I order here all the time for delivery. Guys who answer have always been very nice and efficient. Pizzas are never more than 30-40 minutes from placing the call and arrives hot. Delivery guys are also super kind! I love their original supreme pizza and their garlic knots. I forget the pricing but their online website has a menu which is super convenient. I've had their buffalo chicken roll which is delicious. Their regular chicken roll is a tad dry sometimes but still good. I look forward to trying other slices but I tend to order my favorites. I've never visited this establishment in person hence the docking of a star. But I drive by often and there are tons of people swarmed there. From pedestrians to double parked cars picking up some lunch/dinner. That's a good sign in my book that this place is still doing it's thang. The last time I ate here the cheese tasted a bit funny. Couldn't tell if it was sour (as in spoiled), if the pizza was old, or if it was a different type of cheese. Later in the day my stomach felt a bit funny. About a week after it was late they were the closest thing open and I said to the worker taking my order and an older man with light colored hair.... I hope it'll be good this time because last time it tasted funny. I told both what tasted off and how it made me feel and the reaction from both were, no couldn't be us we're the best pizza in town. While my stomach didn't turn this time, it still didn't taste great. Well recently my friend went and experienced the same thing. It actually made her throw up. She called them up to notify the manager and I could hear him blow her off with how he told her, we'll she's the first one to say something. Lies! They have never changed the quality of the products they use (they just changed their customers more - nevertheless the slices are so delicious. Recently I tried the chicken Cesar salad slice and Boy oh boy was it so delicious. I had them warm up the slice a little wow! The slice was soooo good! Eh! Not bad. This has been my default pizza spot this year due to its location. My daughter is a pizza-holic and always convinces me to get a slice. Pros: The pizza is okay. I have had better, but the pizza here is not bad. This is a neighborhood pizza spot that the locals literally line up for. Also, you can tell this place has been here for decades. Every time I go in, I see people from local businesses here on lunch, or families eating lunch together (super cute). The thing about originals is that it's a Brooklyn landmark (at least in my mind lol) If you live in the Canarsie or Mill Basin area, chances are you've been here. The pizza is delicious and the staff and workers are always polite, efficient, and friendly. They have an outdoor seating which is quite spacious and nicely set up. It's definitely a family friendly and causal pizza stop. I also appreciate that they do an excellent job at keeping the facility clean and up to date. Unfortunately, this pizza is inconsistent. They're all about pumping out as many pies as possible but that sometimes means quality suffers. The taste of a regular slice is often good and so is the dough. But because it's often falling apart and not crunchy it ruins it. Maybe one day they will achieve more consistency. read more
