The only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is because we had to wait in line for almost an hour to get in. This is not the restaurant's fault except there were tables that were cleaned quickly when customers left. The food is outstanding especially the pizza. The place is pretty tiny overall but had so much charm. There were a lot of misc items placed inside the establishment that it killed some time before enjoying our pizza. Since we're trying to come in for a snack we ordered the build your own 9" 3 topping pizza and some horchata. Never had I would have known that horchata and pizza would go well together. It's basically a take out window with tables. The pizza was very average, much like Pizza Hut. I has the 10" and it came right away. The crust was really bready. I mean really bready. The sourdough crust is even worse. Worst Italian food I've had in at least 30 years. Wet and soggy pasta, pizza with almost no quality, and a tiny bowl of iceberg lettuce and a couple of tomatoes that cost $17.50 and that I had to eat with a plastic fork?!!! This is my second time trying their pizza. The first time, we got a veggie pizza which was good. However, this time - we got the BBQ chicken pizza, which also was garnished with onions and cilantro. The 4 of us devoured that pizza. It was delicious and the chicken was tender (not overcooked or burnt to say the least). The BBQ sauce was also not overpowering. We were on our way to return our golf cart when we decided to stop for lunch. The dining area is right there on the sidewalk... were you can relax and eat while watching the world go by. I just wish we had move time on the island I would have liked to have come back to try some of their other menu items. You almost feel like your sitting outside a café in Italy. That being said, this is the 2nd time visiting the island and our 2nd time enjoying Antonio's. The first time we dined in at their old location on the waterfront (summer of 2022), service was so-so but food was spot on. I have been so many places around the world lots of restaurants but this was by far was the worst place I have ever been there was no space on the walls for anything else because they made it so overwhelmingly crowded when you first walk in their is peanut shells covering the flor because they say "throw peanut shells on the floor" obviously they don't have to clean the floor they have red and white table cloths with shamrocks on them but Antonios is Italian when you sit down they throw paper plates at you next they give you some frozen pizza. The order in which they handed out the food was disorganized and not in the order they were received. I wanted just a slice of pepperoni pizza but they will only serve that to go so I ordered a small pepperoni pizza since we were dining in the restaurant. They put a LOT of cheese on their pizzas. I liked the crust. It was nice and chewy. Brian ordered a pizza with artichoke hearts mushrooms and olives. The mushrooms were not fresh. I don't like it when they put canned mushrooms on pizzas. Another thing, they bring you peanuts, shelled peanuts, and you are to put the shells on the floor. I felt a little strange doing that but the sign did say throw your shells on the floor.
