Just the greasy grill we were looking for. French fries are McDonald's style and the portion is generous. Solid breakfast sandwiches. Great hot dogs.

Hot dogs, drink and orange juice.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for some snacks for our group of 11. There was a line for ordering as well as a line for people waiting on their food. Great space in the patio for dine in. Although the eatery doesn't have many tables and chairs for dining, what they have is a good size to accommodate diners. Our order got called at the window for pick up within 30 to 45 minutes. The food pick up was staggered. We are a group of 11 and our food item orders all consists of cheeseburgers, hot dogs, turkey breast sandwiches, fish and chips, fries, ice cream on a cone and drinks. All food items we ordered was prepared at time of ordering. They were all fresh and hot. They missed 2 of our orders and forgot our root beer float. We will give Coney Island West another try on our next visit.

No frills, just thrills. Wanting something simple after snorkeling. We wandered around to find this not-so-hidden gem. It is located on the corner of a very busy strip. Outdoor seating only, they accept cards, and refills are $1. We ordered a chili dog and fish and chips. The fish were perfectly fried; tender and flaky on the outside. The fries were standard. Gavin enjoyed his chili dog. I was thirsty so I went up to ask for a refill. At the front you can choose from a number of condiments, napkins, and I believe plastic utensils. I don't remember. All I remember was how comforting our meal was.

Yummy food & doesn't make you feel gross after eating! I preferred the chili cheese fries without heavy cheese lol- chili was good though. Service is good & you get a nice view of the island ppl while eating

There's something that always seems to hit about a classic hot dog if you want a break from all the seafood. I ordered the bacon hot dog and loved how grilled it was compared to a basic hot dog. The bacon was also the perfect touch, although I wish it was a bacon-wrapped hot dog versus just a single strip of bacon. The service was fast and there's a few benches to sit down and eat which was very convenient. If you're looking for a quick spot and a break from the seafood, I would recommend Coney Island West.

Overpriced, mediocre, and part of the bun was wet and soggy... Costco does better for a $1.50 I guess if you're just looking for a quick snack this is fine but I would go find something else to eat.

Everything was sooooo good. Traditional amusement park type food and taste. I was skeptical about the whole grain bun but it was very good on the burger. Food came out quick. Too many birds in the area so you have to be on guard 24/7 which is annoying but will always stop by when in Catalina!

I come to Catalina occasionally for scuba diving and this spot is great for catching a bite to eat before heading back to the ferry. Food tasted great, especially the fries, staff were all friendly and efficient. Only outdoor seating, but in Catalina that's usually a good thing! Wish the prices met the portions a bit better but that's Catalina!

Burgers and fries at this place at very economical island pricing. This was our lunch, very filling and tasty.

During COVID we ordered Portillo's on delivery, it was not great. I remember my Italian Beef tasting like old beef. I remember throwing it away. But, it was COVID times, we couldn't expect greatness from anything back then. 2026! The time has arrived, my husband wanted to dine in. He said "forget your COVID memories, it's gonna be great! It's gonna be way better fresh than on delivery!" It wasn't. I had the Italian Beef, added the peppers (so stupid you have to pay more for them), he got the "Jumbo" Hot Dog, which is literally the size of any normal hot dog you would get anywhere. I had the meal which came with fries and a drink, we also ordered onion rings and a Chocolate Cake Shake. Didn't take long for our food to come out. They have a huge sign that says "CONDIMENTS HERE" so we went to see what they had - ketchup. Yes, just ketchup. His hot dog was a hot dog, I didn't think it was anything special, but he liked it. The beef still tasted old to me, I guess that's just the taste of it, and i'm just not a fan. If it weren't for the flavor of the peppers, I would have hated this again. The fries and onion rings were pretty good. The shake was fine but didn't blow my mind. We got a small and ended up throwing half of it away. Doubt i'll be back, but if I am for some reason, i'll probably just get onion rings and try their chili.

This place is always recommended to me on Yelp anytime I try to find places to eat in Little Tokyo…read moreand technically it's in the Arts District, but it's within walking distance. I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.

The space has a dark, industrial vibe, and I loved seeing the sausage display when you walk in. We shared the duck & bacon, mango jalapeño, rattlesnake & rabbit, and the Klein. The duck & bacon was easily our favorite. It was juicy and packed with flavor. The mango jalapeño had a nice balance of sweet and savory but I wish it had more heat. The rattlesnake & rabbit was interesting but could've used a little more salt. I also loved the toasted buns, sauerkraut, and caramelized onions. The fries were fluffy inside but I wish they were a little crispier. I also loved their beer selection and they let us sample a few before ordering. If you go definitely get the Kasteel Tropicale!! It was my favorite beer of the night! The service was great and the cashiers gave us awesome recommendations. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a fun spot to grab beers and sausages with friends!

I had the House Dog and it was like getting one off a Street Vender in LA. Major compliment by he way. I got mine on a Brioche Bun which took it to a whole new level. Best Dog I ever had.
