Had to try this new Chinese restaurant that opened up near us . The waitress was very nice and told us how she cooked the food to make it healthy . Steamed brown rice to make fried rice and no msg in most all dishes . But some dishes she has to add a little and some sauces has it already . We like to share our meals so we got the combo vermicelli noodles and combo fried rice . Both were very tasty and the portions are of a good size for the price . They have a combo green bean vegetable plate that looked good. The meals had great flavor that I did not even use any soy sauce which is not the norm for me . Will be back here for sure. read more

First time trying this place out since I live close by but have never stopped, read good reviews so I decided to pick up something on my way home. Ordered the jalapeno chicken and asked for it to be extra spicy, I love spicy food. When I got home the dish looked appetizing and the portions are big, enough for two days. However, I was disappointed with the taste, it just lacked something and it was barely spicy, I had to add some Sriracha sauce just to bring it to a level higher in spice. I also had to add a little low sodium soy sauce. I also wished they would have used white chicken meat instead of the fatty and grisly dark meat. Dark meat works OK when served fried and covered in sauce but not when it's naked. I've had jalapeno chicken at other places and they use white chicken meat and it's quite spicy. Reading other reviews seems they do not like to make dishes spicy so maybe they are playing safe. Maybe I'll try a different dish some other time and it'll be better. read more

This placed opened up super close to our house so we tried it out last week and I thought it was great. We ordered to-go so I cannot comment on the service as a dine in place. The service is always great when we go. The owner and her husband have come out to greet us before and ask how everything is. They're also very accommodating to our one-year-old messy eater. The food is also pretty decent. My kid gobbled up the steamed dumplings. We got the pan-fried noodles, orange chicken, eggplant dishes. The eggplant had a nice kick to them without being too spicy. I also liked that they weren't too greasy (some places will use a lot of chili oil). The pan-fried noodles were really good too and came with lots of meat and good-sized pieces of shrimp. I liked that the orange chicken had large pieces of chicken and weren't overly battered. I hate when restaurants give tiny chunks of chicken and it ends up being more batter than meat. Only 4 stars though because afterwards, I came home and crashed and felt so dehydrated. They said they don't use MSG but I'm sure the sodium content is pretty high. I did not have a good first experience, and nothing really made me think about making a second attempt. I tried to place a carryout order online, but the website was so slow it took me 10 minutes to rack up a simple order. So I called. I wanted 2 egg rolls, a bowl (the larger order) of wonton soup, and sesame chicken. It wasn't a bad drive, it's not in a terrible place to get to. I had to wait a little while for the server to get to me, but not long enough to be upset. When I got home, I started getting disappointed. They didn't give me the egg rolls, and it was too much trouble to try and go back for just that. The wonton soup was not very good, just some premade and undercooked dumplings in chicken broth. I was surprised how small the portion of fried rice was compared to the generous portion of sesame chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was pretty bad too. It was cooked well, but the large chunks helped give away how fatty and gristly this chicken was. I was very disappointed and I don't think this was just "a bad night". What I got didn't beat Panda Express, and that's not much of a bar. read more

I ordered the chicken with broccoli and the boyfriend got combination lo mein without shrimp or mushrooms. My chicken wasn't too good. The sauce and broccoli were fine. Stopped on this evening to grab some dinner to go with my little one. Such a great experience! The lady who took our order was beyond sweet and helpful with selections and how much to get for our family. My daughter just really had her heart set on a fortune cookie and she gave her one while we waited. We got the orange Tso's chicken and the orange chicken. One white rice one fried rice and a couple egg rolls. All of it was delicious. The perfect amount of spice and flavor. It came out quickly and my girls loved the egg rolls. What a pleasurable experience it was ordering food to go yesterday. We needed our food to be prepared gluten free and the lady was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. After reading so many great reviews, we decided to give this place a try. For a Friday night, they weren't that busy. We ordered eggrolls as an appetizer, and the general tso's and orange chicken for entrees. The eggrolls were hot, and were good, but I can tell they were just the frozen kind... not fresh like I've had at other places. Our brown rice was cold and grainy, the general tso's was good, but bland...not spicy like I'm used to. The orange chicken was a bit bland as wall. Both entrees came with a small spoonful of broccoli and I would have liked more. I was also disappointed that the meat was all dark meat as well. We may give this place another try during the weekday during lunch to give it another fair shot. Otherwize we'll stick to Ho Ho's....always consistently good and fresh. read more

I've ordered carry out from them twice and both times the rice was just absurdly weird/questionable. The entree was decent and you can get marginally better egg rolls from Jack in the Box or the frozen food aisle. But the rice? How do you mess up rice? Someone suggested that their equipment may not be clean, and I know the water is weird here, but if rice is a staple for your restaurant, you have to figure that out. read more
