Bone in wings, Yahoo bbq and Italian gold

Gosh, I haven't been to Oregano for years. So glad we came here today. The food is really good. We ordered the garlic bread, the calamari, the wings(Italian Gold and Yahoo BBQ), and thin crust pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread with marinara sauce is delicious. The calamari is just right. The wings with ranch is super good. The pizza is also just the way I like it. Btw, Downtown Gilbert is so happening on a Saturday night!!

Decided to have lunch here as I've never dined here. I ordered the original Italian stuffed sandwich and upgraded to waffle fries. The sandwich also came with coleslaw that was really good! It was a very satisfying lunch. Wife ordered a mini pan pizza and she enjoyed it. Service was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was enjoyable and can you believe they had fortune cookies! It was very cool!

It had been so many years since I've been here so decided to stop in during lunch hour. I like the warm and welcoming ambience and decor of this restaurant. They have a pretty good lunch menu Mon- Fri 11AM- 3PM. I ordered the build your own mini pan pizza with salami and sausage. Hubby ordered the original Italian stuffed sandwich from the regular menu- 1/2 lb of pepperoni, capicola and salami, topped with provolone and baked, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, green peppers, black olives, oil and vinegar, and dried oregano. He upgraded to waffle fries which were very good. The sandwich also came with cole slaw which was so tasty with a slightly sweet taste. My pizza was pretty tasty and very filling. I could only finish half of it so had lunch for next day. Service was very kind and attentive too.

If you're looking for a pan pizza with some homemade zucchini keep moving. But if you like a thin crust pizza baked in a pan that you have to eat with a fork and frozen zucchini then this is your place. The waitress asked how everything was, I mentioned I was expecting a pan pizza not a thin crust she explained I got exactly what I ordered a pan pizza, lol yikes. So there you have it, I must have completely missed the transformation of the deep dish pan pizza to a thin crust baked in a deep dish pan. One bite with my fork and I was done. I have now learned that a deep dish pan pizza is a thin crust pizza baked in a deep dish pan. my mistake.

I am a pasta fanatic and decided to try other places for pasta from time to time. Yes, I cook but, it's cheaper and more fun to eat at different restaurants unless my boyfriend cooks for me (wink). The food is good but I felt as if the could've been a little more cooked. I've gone here a couple times since this order and each time, in my opinion, the food is good.. not great but good.

We won the jackpot! Got a table in 10 minutes on a Saturday night! Lucky us! I was craving Alfredo the Dark! Love this dish! Full of creamy flavored poblano pasta topped with a grilled jalapeño. Yum yum. Total comfort food. I shared it with my husband. I tried the Mango Tango lemonade that was super delicious. Topped the night off with a pizza pie. Half chocolate chip / half peanut butter chocolate. Amazing! Thank You Oregano staff. (Yes the kitchen staff as well. It's often a thankless job but we appreciate each and everyone of you behind the scenes making masterpiece dinner plates!)

We tried Oregano, Gilbert on sunny Saturday in Gilbert! The ambience is incredible and old school Italian setting ! The food here is amazing! Highly recommend. The service was quick and easy.

Went to oreganos for my grandmas birthday and had a great time with great food! My grandma absolutely loves oreganos and she asks to go every year ! We got the margarita pizza, the Caesar salad, some breadsticks and another pizza as well and were very full with lots of leftovers, so make sure not to order as much as us unless you want days of leftovers. The service is always great and the ambiance is very welcoming and spacious. There usually is never a wait during the day, but at night there can be a little bit of a wait. Highly recommend.

That was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! Very delicious and service was great. I had the stuffed Riga Tony and the spinach artichoke dip

Fun casual vibe, great food selections, attentive and friendly servers keeps us coming back for more at this Oregano's in downtown Gilbert. Our favs: Jumbo Wings (dry rub and Italian Gold)), 1/2 lb sautéed broccoli or spinach, calamari, The Pablo Salad, The Lawrence pizza -- all hearty and so tasty. Thank you to the lovely servers who always make our experience extra enjoyable - Jennifer, Kaydin, Zach, Lindsay, and Kaydance at the welcome desk - you all simply are the BEST. We'll be back soon!!

Went for Mother's Day lunch today & it was pretty good. My service was amazing. The food was good. I just didn't need a whole pizza for myself ;) I must say the drinks will knock you on your butt ! Overall it's been years since I have been there & I was happy with the food in general. I was not over the moon for the spinach dip, but the dipping crust that came with it was really good. I did have cheese curds as well and they were cold, which I like them pretty hot . my husband was not impressed with the chicken Parmesan, as it had too much oregano & basil he said. Overall we will go back at some point and try it again.

Ummm, not sure the best way to write this review. They have a very enticing menu; a lot of dishes look like they have great potential, but unfortunately, the night we went, it was all pretty blah! Additionally, the service was also pretty mediocre. Friday evening dinner around 6 pm downtown Gilbert, wait for a table for 4 was just about 5-10 minutes. Initial glasses of water came fairly quickly, and then it went mostly downhill. Drink refills had to be requested several times, and even then, it was slow. All 4 of us looked at the menu thoroughly, decided what we wanted and laid our folded menu on the table, and still had to flag down our server to order. Food took quite a while to come out, and when it finally did, 2 of the dished were cold, and one of them came out wrong. The server did notice it was wrong, but by then, we were all so disappointed we just wanted to eat and leave. Oh yea, 3 came out with bread, and one didn't? All the dishes had plenty of food, it just wasn't that good. My Shrimp Caprese had half a dozen nice sized shrimp but zero flavor. It's possible, I'd give them another shot to try some of their pizza, but not on Friday evening - too many other great choices in that area.

During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. Ultimately I chose the Mesa store because it was the original and I wanted to see Mesa. We started with a basic garlic cheese bread appetizer and it was great. The calamari was tempting but we'll save that for next time. Wife ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the usual Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of pasta. It was actually a harder choice than usual because I walked thru the restaurant before I ordered and so many dishes looked good, as did the pizza. But I went with the usual. Let's start with the wife, which truly speaks to the five stars because she frankly doesn't love Italian food. She eats it when I beg. And she loved it. She actually proactively mentioned she wanted to go back. That's like 7 stars right there it's so abnormal. I agree with her. The chicken parm was fantastic. Amazing. To top it off, our server was great and when I mentioned we were new to the area and it was our first trip she was so nice telling us the history of the original and the other stores, and the manager later stopped by to continue that conversation as the server told her we were new. I mentioned that I live closer to the Scottsdale store, and she said it's the same food and I'll like it just as much. I'll have a hard time deciding which shop to return to - it might be worth the drive to the original just for the ambiance, but I'll give the other a try soon because it was just that good! 5 stars. Or 7 if you ask my wife.

My only complaint was the portion size for the price. Normally I would get to chicken pieces and have leftover chicken. I remember normally going in and being able to split this dish with my husband, but this time it came with one piece of chicken. This was a little disappointed for the price point and hoping to get more protein. The other really annoying part when dining at Vito's is parking. I circled around twice including the parking lot by the car wash and State Farm and called Vito's asking for advice where to park and was told Walgreens across the street due to a big party they were having in the basement. Lastly, Vito's has a happy hour menu, the discount used to be better in the past so lately I haven't ordered from it. However, the frustrating part is in the summer the only way to benefit from them is to sit outside on the patio. I wish they allowed for seating for happy hour specials during hot summer months to be inside as well.

I have been getting Pizza at Crust for a long time but just getting around to posting about it…read more This is true NY style pizza, foldable and all. The real surprise is the incredible value of the Sunday Monday special where you can get a 20" New York Cheese Pizza for $15. You also still have the option to add on to that base per ingredient but still, an awesome deal. This Pizza is my go to weekend place for Pizza. Not only does it feed several people at the 20" size, but it is delicious. The sauce is a simple and delicious tomato base for the toppings. The crust is incredibly soft and flavorful on it's own. I usually pick it up to take home and have never had to wait longer than 2 minutes from the time I arrive to have it brought out to my car right in front of the restaurant. Super convenient. The restaurant is in the historic area of Downtown Chandler and looks like a great place to dine inside also.

Hey Hey Kids!…read more First time at Crust Simply Italian...and there's nothing Krusty here...no clowns either. Stepping inside I expected a more intimate atmosphere, but was met with hard floors, open space in a more industrial-style building. Not typically my go-to setting as places like this can be quite loud. It was louder than I like inside with some 80s rock playing and voices echoing around...but after a few minutes it didn't bother me anymore. Our server was great and gave us a rundown on their menu and specialties. We were drawn to try the whipped ricotta appetizer and glad we did...it was unlike any appetizer I've had before...basically a smooth and sweet spread for the bread that accompanied it. We each ordered a pasta dish for our main meal...I got a spicy sausage pasta and my wife ordered the Tortellini alla Panna. The pasta was perfect sized for dinner and I was able to get a few bites of the tortellini from my wife. Both dishes were excellent. I spied a few dishes from around the restaurant and everything looked good. The to-go section was bustling with activity the entire time and the place was full except a few seats at the bar. I definitely will return and try some different dishes or their pizza! Thanks Crust for the great evening!
