I am also from New Jersey about 2 hours from New York. Vito has been one of the successful pizza places from New York that has come out from the valley. Been to both locations both this one and the one 2990 E Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ. Off of Northwest corner of Germann and S Gilbert. You go I feel welcome. I would try the food I know you like it. I have great taste in restaurants and been to different places in the world to try to find great food with great taste. After meeting Vito the founder of his restaurants. If I was Dave portanoy I would give this place a 3.4/10 and that's being nice... the pizza doe was nowhere near crispy it was straight floppy.. too under cooked for me. The pepperoni wasn't that great either.. I always give second chances and will update my review but a big chain like papa John **not little Caesar's is was better IMO. I even called and asked to make it more crispy it definitely was not. I ordered pizza for delivery, it got to us nice and hot...that's where the good part ends. The pizza had a chemical taste and ended up making my entire family of 4 sick. After a couple hours of being sick, I called the store to let them know. I'm glad no one else had that complaint, but it didn't help me. We stopped in and went up tp the bar area to order and grab a drink while the pizzas were cooking. We ordered wine and a glass of beer and garlic knots. Two extra large pizzas and a salad. Asked for the garlic knots to eat while we waited and they were never put in until all the food was done. The waitress apologized and offered some canollis that they had an extra order from. When we arrived at home we wished we would have looked at the pizzas before we left. We have two teenage boys and a eight year old that loves pizza. ALL three boys hated the pizza. The crust was hard to chew and extremely greasy on the pepperoni and sausage pizza. Our meal was just over $90 and would have been better to run to Target and grab frozen pizzas to cook at home. The lady that answered the phone had a horrible attitude we didn't say anything then we were put on hold until she could figure stuff out! I specifically asked for the 24 wing special with BONE IN wings we get home after pick up and they were boneless I called to have them redo it and she goes off on me she said no u said u wanted bone out! I told her no I specifically said bone in traditional. Why would I ask if there were a bone in or a bone out wings special if I wanted bone and wings? It just doesn't add up. She decided to have an argument with me back-and-forth and I hung up and couldn't deal with her then she calls me back and says if you're going to be picking up new wings I want you to bring the old ones back. We came in here about a month ago to try this place out after finding a coupon for them in the weekly shopper coupons found in the mailbox. It is pretty difficult to find authentic New York style pizza here in Arizona. Our favorite place for years was Nicantoni's Pizza, but after Vic retired we have been on a quest to find something else that measures up. Perhaps that search is now over. For appetizers we tried the fried ravioli and an order of 1 dozen wings split Golden BBQ and Medium sauce. We also got a margarita pizza and, us not being able to decide on the second pizza, the server Johnny suggested V's 3 Meat pizza which is pretty popular so we went with that. We were not disappointed with any of our food. The ravioli had a mildly spicy filling. Our kids claimed the wings were "amazing" which isn't something we are used to hearing from both of them at the same time. The 3 meat pizza was the star of the show, as our one kid said it was "gobsmacking delicious". Tonight we returned to Brooklyn V's and ordered nearly the same order as the last time and it is safe to say that the quality of food from this place has superb consistency. Wings are crispy and very saucy, just like you would expect from a NY pizzeria and they ask you if you want Ranch or Blue Cheese in true NY style. Not sure if they make the blue cheese dressing in house, but it tasted fresh and not like anything we have ever had out of a store bought bottle. The wings were a bit larger than we expected and we made it a point to count them this time. There were 13 pieces from a dozen order, so Vito must really like his customers to include the bonus wing! Each time we have visited, we were served by Johnny who was kind, attentive, and had thoughtful suggestions for trying out all the house specialties. He even remembered us from the previous visit and made the suggestion about calling ahead and requesting Table #7 next time. The atmosphere here is nice and friendly and nearly all the seats have access to window views of the outdoors. I think we caught a glimpse of a back party room for very large parties. There is a pie carousel with some very tempting pies, but we always seem to get filled up on appetizers and from less than half of the pizzas we order. That's okay, these are the pizzas you want for leftovers the next day. On a pizza stone or in the air fryer, these slices taste nearly as good as they did right out of the oven from the shop here. The bill came out to be a little over $100 with tip, but we basically left with enough leftovers for 1 or 2 additional meals. While it is not cheap, you are still getting great value on these meals that easily overfeed a family of 4 hungry folks. read more

Nestled near the Harkin's movie theater, this little gem is authentic New York! The friendly staff, some with a New York accent, warmly welcome anyone passing through the doors. If a server won't greet you right away, you know Big Mike from the kitchen will holler out a welcome. There is some bar seating and a TV for sports - though no sound so get a sound app if you want to catch a game. We've tried many items from the menu and our go-to top three are 1) Chicken Marsala: Absolutely first rate!!! Be sure to ask for some bread to dip the sauce. Plate always gets returned cleaned! 2) Chicken Francese: The creamy-lemony wine sauce is out of this world! Again, recommend some bread on the side for dipping. 3) Eggplant Parmesan: So lightly breaded, flavorful and just amazing! Pasta on the side for a complete meal. If you have tried pizza around the Valley you know it is subpar. Welcome to authentic pizza! Our boys (and us) love the V's 3 Meat Pizza. Just perfect! When having a pizza slice, I prefer the traditional peperoni with the Shock Top on draft. Overall, about as authentic as you can get if you are from the East Coast and value traditional fare this is the place for you! read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a looooooong time. So took the kids and gave it a shot. We started with garlic knots with cheese. Many reviews say these are a must try and I see why! They are a diet killer but oh my so good. Literally soaked in garlic butter and topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. My son ordered boneless wings (shocker). I believe he got the honey Or Golden BBQ sauce. He really enjoyed them. I tasted a bite and they were pretty good. My daughter and I split the chicken rollatini. It's description is "breaded chicken breast and bacon, rolled and filled with mozzarella cheese, topped with a white wine cream sauce. Sounds unbelievable, right?! It was just okay. The chicken was really dry, and the sauce wasn't overly flavorful. Not to mention, it didn't come with a side of pasta, potatoes, veggie, nada. $18.50 for the dish and It was the chicken and a side salad to start. The salad was generous size. The house Italian dressing was wonderful however. I want to come back and try other things but I won't try the chicken rollatini again. read more

I ordered online and paid for my meal with a 20% tip. I arrived there when the system said my order would be ready. The person at the register said it would be another 10 minutes. OK. I ordered a drink while I waited, and the cashier had to call her manager on how to run my card. I got my drink and waited. After about 15 minutes my order was given to me. When I arrived home it was the WRONG ORDER!! After they had already ran my card for a drink! I called and they informed me my order was up if I wanted to come get it. I said "how about you deliver it to me" and they replied " l would if I could" although they offer delivery on the website. I drove back, and who should be waiting, but the guy who's order they gave me! I told him not to take it as I had opened it already. While I was waiting for a refund a couple was walking out of the restaurant, and asked what had happened to me. I told them and they replied that they couldnt even get in house orders correct. The manager refunded my money, did not apologize and just seemed to want me gone. I will never order from this crappy establishment again. read more
