Never had a dish I didnt like. My favorite is the anti-pasta salad (jr size feeds 4) and Italian Gold wings. (Mustard based sauce). We try ti go off hours as the line can be brutal. Other great thing is the GIANT drinks. 32 oz glasses for soda that take you through the whole meal. They will also give you a glass for the road ob your way our. If you like Italian the menu is extensive but is not light on carbs. I always find something tastey. Typical bill is about 25 for two. read more

This place is awesome. I won't go into detail, cuz there's plenty of reviews about how good the food is. The only reason I give it 4 stars, instead of 5 is the price is a bit steep for pizza, and getting a seat requires some patience. But then again, it's not Pizza Hut. Place is very busy plan on a 45 minute to hour wait on weekends....but worth it. I usually now go in for lunch where you get a giant slice for 3.99...either way, the food is great, albeit a tad pricy.... read more

Come for the atmosphere, stay for the good food and friendly staff. This is a REAL Italian restaurant, portions are big and everything we have tried has been very flavorful. It's not fancy but great for the whole family. Which we prefer. Nothing seems overpriced like some Italian places. I recommend to just walk and try a bowl of pasta with meatballs and garlic bread. If that doesn't make you feel warm inside then you need some help. read more

Amazing food! I went for my birthday with my family and they left the two pizza Cookies off the bill!

Very much enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was good and food was excellent. Shared a big salad between four people and were provided with three different salad dressings. Recommend this site and restaurant. read more

About 8 months ago I stopped eating here because the pizzas were becoming consistently bad. In April I decided to give it another try and since then I have been ordering more and more often since the pizzas have been becoming consistently better and BETTER. Whoever is making the pizzas in the kitchen now is a huge improvement from before. The thin crust is my fav. Props to the hardworking guy back there making the pizzas better every single day read more

Oregano's - Pizza Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Pizza is really good. We've tried a bunch of different apps and none are really good. Only go here for the pizza

Brian is the BEST server EVER!!!! 10/10 recommend coming here and having Brian as your bartender!

Always great food & service!! The atmosphere is very casual & comfortable, love the outdoor seating!!

There was a slight mix up on our order, but management went above and beyond to correct it. Great tasting pizza. Definitely going back.

Probably my favorite location for Oregano's! Staff is super friendly and outgoing. Not to mention it's right in the heart of down town Gilbert so there's lots of sightseeing. Took my dad here for his birthday for the first time and he loved it ! The thin crust pizza is AMAZING (definitely go light on the cheese though). The medium sauce wings were very yummy, especially ordered extra crispy! Our server Andres was very nice and attentive. The food took a while to come out but completely understandable for how busy it was! We also got a pizza cookie to end the night which was delicious! read more

Oregano's is fantastic! If I could give them more then 5 stars they would have it! I visited the restaurant with my mother twice in a 5 day vacation, and couldn't complain about a thing.! The service, table AND bar were superb. While on the wait list (45 minute wait, with lots of people in the main entrance) they brought out mini slices of pizza for those waiting... Who does that? Just all around a wonderful experience. They're amazing! Korbin was our server our first night; and definitely helped sway us to come back with all his suggestions and knowledge of the menu.! The staff were tidy, efficient and super friendly! read more

First of all, this place stays open late. Which is great. We went there one night at about 9 or later and every other restaurant was closed. Their sign said they were closing, but they brought us in and people still kept rolling in way past 10 pm. Thanks for that guys! we need somewhere to go to in Gilbert at that time. This is what I hate about the suburbs, everything closes so early. The food is ok, Italian, but the servings are HUGE. Service is fantastic and very friendly. We will definitely go there again and again. I forgot to add, the courtyard is so BEAUTIFUL. I just love to go and sit there and have a drink. read more

Love Oregano's...it's our family go-to for lunch and dinner! Only problem is the long wait...so we always try to go during slow hours. Love the vino bambino salad, pizzas are great, the Italian Gold wings are such a great surprise...honey mustard sauce on crisp wings...delish. The bellini's are to die for...and we can't ever leave without a pizza cookie for dessert....our kids fought us over the last one...and they won. We will have to order two next time! Our family from Austin is visiting again this Christmas...and Oregano's is first on their list! read more

I typically have good experiences at Oregano's, good food and service. However the last time I visit this specific location, I had poor service. We had a large group and the hostess did not even attempt to accommodate. Though there was a large, empty room, full of tables, the hostess was rude and gave an attitude as my friends and me tried getting a table that could fit all of us. We were split into 4 different tables, away from each other. I ordered the Roasted Garlic Chicken Lasagna. When our food got to the table, I was given Italian Flag Lasagna instead. I was upset that I did not realize I had received the wrong order until I had bit into my meal. I do not eat pork so that did not make things any better! I spoke to the server who then grabbed the manager. My friends were done eating by the time the manager arrived so I did not want to wait another 20 minutes for my correct order. The manager insisted and rushed the order so I was forced to pay for a meal I couldn't even enjoy. read more

Italian at its finest. Wedding soup has mildly spicy sausage meatballs in a flavorful broth. Meatball sandwich is enough for two meals (or one big one if you are hungry). Bowl-O pasta is a never-ending serving where you choose the pasta, sauce, and any sides that you desire. Everything is reasonable. Be prepared to spend extra time (or order ahead) if you want the deep-dish pizza. YUM! read more

Great food and great service! Took some time to get seated but it was worth the wait. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Definitely better than the Germann, Chandler branch read more

I love Oreganos but this specific oreganos is awful. The first time we ordered take out, I had to wait an additional hour from my pick up time to get my food. It was incredibly frustrating as I saw others come and go with their take out orders. The manager gave me a gift card and said sorry. So whatevs, the food was a little cold but still good. Decided to try again since we got the gift card and this time I had to wait an additional 25 minutes from my pick up time and came home to realize that they forgot one of my pastas. Maybe it's my my fault for not checking my food but when you wait almost 30 minutes extra you just sort of want to get home and eat. Oreganos has GREAT food but maybe try Tempe location as I never had service issues there. read more

Don't make a reservation here you have a better chance of walking in and getting a table they made me wait 30 mins when i made a reservation 4 hours in advance. I would give it zero stars the one star is for the decor read more

The Gilbert location in AZ. This particular location is a little hard to understand as a business. When you see people standing outside but there are various empty tables inside and outside, it makes you wonder how this place runs. When asked the manager why people are not being seated, we were advised that it's for larger parties. So if your hungry and a party of four or less skip this location and support the small local pizzerias. read more

Ordered pickup through DoorDash, got a notification it was ready for pick up, but was not ready at all when my husband showed up. The order was ready shortly afterwards, but they forgot an item -sent it off with someone else's order. Now my husband is there waiting for that item now, while the rest of our food is getting cold. He said they were not even apologetic about any of this. This will be the last time we order from them. Not recommending them to anyone either. They need to get their act together if they are doing to go orders and working with DoorDash. No wonder was always got cold food deliveries from this place in the past. read more

My wife and I were going to a show at the Hale theater around the block so we decided to go to Oregano's for an early dinner to start out date night. We went into the restaurant and were greeted by the manager first and then a couple of young ladies at the counter. Very impressive from the start. We were brought to our table and Brian came over within 5 minutes to take our drink orders. He apologized for the wait. Well naturally 5 minutes is not a wait but he was a Nice Young man. He came back to take our orders and we decided to get a Pan Pizza. Brian explained that it would take about a half hour to get it done and we said, no problem. He asked if we would like salads or appetizers and we declined. We had our drinks and they were refilled and about 20 minutes later the pizza arrived. The pizza was great and the service was also right up there. I've never had an issue with Oregano's and again, this location that we have not been in years added to that reputation. We enjoyed this experience and will be back, thanks read more

I ordered takeout and the pizza was burnt and bland. Thought I'd give them another try after a previous bad experience and I know now I won't order pizza from here again. read more

Always amazing!! I enjoy their salads and deep dish pizza! It comes out the same every single time which I really appreciate. They are big enough so there is not a very long wait. read more

Good food but be prepared to wait at least twice the time stated. It took 8 minutes between the time a table was free and the time it took to get the next guest notified of a ready table. read more

We weren't impressed by this restaurant. First off they messed up our order, we ordered a thin and a stuffed pizza along with a few other things. This was a carry out order, we got home and there was a pan with the ingredients on it that should've been on a stuffed and then there was a stuffed with what should've been on a thin. Both the pizzas and the cheesy garlic breads were loaded with salt, a lot of it went uneaten because of that which is very unusual in our house. It will be awhile before we give this place another shot. read more

The food is still enjoyable but their decision to use an app instead of taking phone call ahead is woeful because Nowait is hopeless. It told me the wait was 15 minutes so I Ieft the house. Upon arrival I'm told "oh the app is optimistic", and since then it updated from 15 to 45 minutes. Change the app! read more

Super good! And big portions. Always really fresh and has vegetarian options as well! Their garlic bread is the best and their fries as well. The chicken parm is amazing and always end up with leftovers read more

If you're looking for consistency, this is the place to really be constantly disappointed, after a couple times asking for extra sauce and charging me as well, I never seem to get any...EVER. read more

Oregano's - Pizza Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

looking for a comfortable spot to have some of the best grubouts of your life? oreganos is the place. its italian comfort food at a very budget friendly price. i know the name says "pizza bistro" but ive only had pizza here once (have heard good things about their thin crust thru others). i usually stick to their pastas, sandwiches, side sausages, and appetizers and im completely fine giving them 5 stars based off that alone. you wont ever order anything and wish it was bigger because this place has never skimped on portions. i come here to get my garlicky cheesy tastebud fix (about 1x/week). service is good. most of the time, theres a wait but its worth it. if youre lookin for fancy italian, this is probably not ur spot. keep nomin!! read more

See all

For the longest time I wouldn't eat at Oreganos because when I had it in the past, I did not like it. Decided to try it out again and was very happy with my meal. We had a Caesar Salad, Alfredo The Dark Pasta, and a pizookie of course. The salad was great, I don't always like Caesar dressing. The pasta was really great too. Change my opinion of Oregano's. read more

Got the big rig pasta with meatballs. Was absolutely amazing! We were served by Paige and she was an incredible server. Food is always the best. Keep up the good work Paige! read more

Husband and I gave this a whirl after completing our Christmas shopping. We had eaten in the previous place that was there, and did not like the atmosphere or the food, we walked in and were pleasantly surprised, and equally as impressed with the menu. I tried to order several different things but they were out, so I decided with Eggplant parm. It was fantastic. Our waiter was fantastic, he was warm and friendly and actually was genuine about his comments about the restaurant and the fellow staff members. read more

I have been here several times now. The food is always great! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the food always seems to take forever to come out. The last time we went, it took 40 minutes for our pizzas... but when they came, they were worth the wait. Staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

I had the lasagna, it was very good. Tried the calamari as well as a starter and it was tasty. Cooked well.

One of my go tos in Gilbert,AZ. I get take out a lot but sometimes I sit down when I'm with family. I have tried almost every single pasta dish. My favorites are the Big Rig and Alfredo the dark. I also never leave without getting a garlic cheese bread. It comes out on a huge double loaf of bread and ALWAYS gets demolished quickly. read more

Great food, amazing service. Caroline is an amazing waitress, very nice and accommodating. Thanks for a great night out with the family. Your service made all the difference. :) read more

Definitely go at an off-peak time to Oregano's (any location). My family never gets the thin crust pizza. It's not worth it. Go with anything else on the menu. The stuffed pizzas are delish as well as the pastas, salads, and sandwiches. I've been to six of the eight locations, and one thing puzzles me... why so small? They rebuilt a building for the Mesa location, but it's still a tiny restaurant! The Gilbert location luckily has a huge patio, and doesn't seem to get as much traffic as the other locations. The hour wait at Tempe or Old Town doesn't phase me in comparison to Pizzeria Bianco's standard 2.5 hour wait. But if you're getting a stuffed pizza, factor in that 45 minutes, it does add up. The portions here are HUGE. Try the Sproccoli stuffed pizza and while you're waiting, get a basket of the Italian Fried Potatoes to munch on... seriously some of the best waffle fries ever! I love both the Meatball and Italian Sausage sandwiches. Served up with fries, you'll get two meals out of a full size sandwich. Definitely get the Italian Sausage with peppers and onions. The pastas are so yummy too! I love Alfredo the Dark and the Big Rig Pasta. Get 'em with chicken and you won't be sorry. Don't expect fabulous service here. It's standard college-age with both the host/hostess and the wait staff. Look elsewhere for thin-crust pizza though, the dough doesn't hold up well to the sauce. Somehow, I don't think they bake it enough. Oregano's is great for a hearty meal at a decent price and it is kid-friendly (they bring out dough balls for the kids to play with and then they'll bake the creation up for them to nosh on!). Definitely check it out whenever you can! read more

This rating is posted to the Gilbert location, since it is closest to my house. However......this rating can apply to the Scottsdale, and Tempe locations as well. The atmosphere: fun, relaxed, pleasant. The food: Oh. My. Gosh. This stuff is good!!! Some of my favorites are: the anti-pasta salad. Junior size. It is a monster, you can share and still be full. Always fresh, full of roasted red peppers, meats, cheeses and flavor! A sausage pizza. Nothing fancy, but fabulous. My husband is not a fan of thin crust pizza. But this is one he will order over and over. Alfredo After Dark, with chicken. WOW! I will call this Macaroni and Cheese on steroids!!! This has so many flavors. A slight jalapeno flavor. A tad spicy, mostly flavor. The sauce, a great Alfredo. Creamy, smooth and full of flavors. The chicken is sliced thin and is moist. The pasta is cooked to a perfect texture. Order this with the intention of sharing, or having leftovers. Delicious! The toasted Italian Sausage sub. YUM! The bread makes this sandwich. Crispy on the outside, and super soft of the inside. The sausage is a bit spicy, but again, flavor! The bruschetta. Enough said. The pizza cookie, or Pizookie (piz-uk-ee). My favorite is the chocolate chip flavor. A must share! The service: I am convinced that everyone here loves their job. Always helpful and prompt. (on occasion the hostesses seem a tad out of touch with the customer). Make some time to go by and try them out. It will be worth your effort. read more
