[[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried to login to Orbitel to pay my bill. Entered the account number on my bill. Didn't work because orbitel drops the leading zero of the acct number when logging in. No indication on the orbitel site to drop the leading zero.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fixed that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Forgot the user, so I clicked on forgot user name. I keyed in the acct number sans leading zero and got a security question. I answered and clicked continue. It reverted to the login screen witout displaying a user ID.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called support. Was told that the system sent an email with the iser id. I founf it in spam.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked the rep why there is no response on the system to advise that the missing used ID was being sent by email. He said it is a KNOWN issue that has been escalated for a fix. This is the third time I've called and asked to speak to a manager and get the runaround each time. They say they'll call you back but they just never do because they don't care about their customers. Our HOA ended their basic cable contract with them. They did not inform anyone that the basic cable would then be included in your bill with Orbitel moving forward. Your company employee literally tried to run me, two pickup trucks, and two semi trucks off the road this morning on the 117 heading to Superior, then tried to Ram into the side of my car and run me off the road after I'd gotten off the phone with DPS. While I was on the phone with Orbital Communications, a records line at 7:25 am MST, this " representative" of Orbital can be heard by the employee screaming profanities at me while trying to push me off the highway. Poor service since day of installation. Tech had problems with connection. He fixed it after an hour of testing and as soon as he left it was back offline. I purchased the 1G service package and the download in the afternoon when I need to use the internet is between 5-25 mbps. Customer service instructed me to reset the router and model! I would rate them lower if it were possible, Our internet service is down often and can stay unavailable for hours. If you contact them, their response is that we will be reimbursed if it is down for more than 24 consecutive hours. It always comes up for a short time before the 24 hours are up and then often goes out again shortly after that, They just told me that I was charged a late fee of $10 because my payment was late and they didn't receive it until 7/11 when it was due 7/6. Strangely, my bank mailed out the check on 6/28 and it was deposited to Orbitel's account on 7/7. Since it was deposited on 7/7, they had to have received it on or before 7/7. They have shown no proof of that and have taken off the $10 late fee but said that my next payment is now due 7/26 instead of 8/6 and if not paid by that time, they will again charge me a $10 late fee, This company DOES NOT believe in customer service. read more

We pay our bill online, on time, every month. For the last several months it's taken at least two weeks to process the bill and they've charged us LATE FEES! I have had periods where our service works, and by service I mean basic cable and 25mbps internet. But like clockwork, anytime the ambient temp goes over 105F it shuts down for hours. This has been for the last 3 or 4 years and I've been a prisoner, silly me, I mean customer, for 8 years. The one time I went into the office to ask for new hardware, I thought I was at the DMV, seriously, it was bad. We recently upped our service to 50mbps, but it seems the same as 25 and 12.5‍. I keep upping the speed thinking my internet will be faster and more reliable, but it's been the same for years, mediocre service, terrible customer service, and my only option. Really awful, inconsistent signals. Even after paying for upgrade to pumped up service the wi-fi signal cuts out at least four or five times A DAY. A service person came out to the house to " take care of the problem.". He was very nice, but nothing changed. Internet still cuts out several times every day. Orbitel cable service is the absolute worst provider I have ever used. Cable cuts out and freezes all the time. After spending 11 minutes on hold for tech support I was told they are aware of the problem and it is on their end and they are trying to repair it. I was not asked for my address or account number. They could not give a time frame for when this issue will be corrected, not a few days, a few weeks, or even if it will be corrected this year. I am furious! They keep raising the rates while the quality of service gets worse and worse. Paying over $125 a month to watch a frozen picture on my TV. read more

Almost 5 stars. We have been internet only customers for a bit over a year. The installer did a bad job on the coax connections. Due to that our first few days of service were pretty terrible. Having worked at as a cable tech for years I was able to redo the connections. The service has been fast and reliable ever since. I have been a very satisfied customer. We pay for the 200M service. We consistently get exactly what we pay for. :-) I have never had an issue with my Orbitel service so can't comment on their customer service. read more

I wish I could give this company a zero, based on unstable performance of the internet service and the service provided by the lady at the Saddlebrooke office. I just paid $45 for an 18 year old modem that I could not return after switching to Xfinity/Comcast in our community. Try to avoid using this company if possible. I offered them two, newer models that I had to buy when I upgraded to a faster service, but they refused, demanding the original, probably out of date, unit. Here's a tip, if you go with Orbitel, don't ever throw away any tiny piece of equipment they provide at installation, because they will fine you the original cost at the end. read more

There service is horrible I paid for 100 MBS service and I couldn't get through 5 min of a movie without it trying to stream the content. Can't send emails with pictures or files. I called them to ask why and they told me I would have to pay them 29.95 for a technician and service call to come and see what was wrong. I am not the only customer with this complaint or these problems I don't understand why Maricopa can't attract an internet or cable company that will do a decent job of providing services that they say they have. I got better service in the middle of the Pacific Ocean than I do in a major metropolitan area. read more

Orbital Communications has inconsistent bandwidth and frequent outages during the summer heat. It typically takes them about 3 days to get a technician to arrive. Outages have ranged from a small area of my neighborhood to over 700 homes in Maricopa. These are typically due to heat.During the summer, it is incredibly inconsistent. At one point, my service was either slow, intermittent, or non-existent for two weeks. During the months of November-April, I rarely have an outage. The customer service over the phone is good but unapologetic. I'm not rude to them on the phone because it isn't their fault that their company is terrible. Unfortunately, they won't credit your account for outages of less than 24 hours, even if service has been dropping out for over a week as I experienced. Here's the kicker though. You only have two choices in Maricopa and the other is Centurylink so you're out of luck. Cox likely won't come this far south unless they buy out Orbitel. Other positive reviews of their service may claim to never have any issues but I doubt many of them work from home, require a VPN connection, voIP office phone, videoconferencing with client, and company server access. I just realized they have been illegally and fraudulently charging me for phone service that I dont have for the past 6 months. My next stop is lawsuit and notifying the FCC. they close after hours and their billing and tech support are laughable and non existent. Its 2021 and they cant seem to staff someone after hours?
