It's a shame that people use Yelp as a tool to complain. Yelp is great, but we need to be fair, because our reviews help other people decide which vendor to choose when they need local services. What an underwhelming short experience this has been. I would say where this experience fell short was 5 minutes into the consultation when Mike entered my home and complained about being the first company I was getting a quote from and how they never make a sale when they are the first company. What an awkward position to put a client in. I would also say the consultant was limited in his time he wanted to take with me. I recall asking for a reason why their glass was superior and while he was on his phone he said he was looking for the video, but never showed me one. I came to the conclusion he was just answering a text. By the end of my experience the consultant was pressuring me with a "great deal" a 1 day quote with $5000 off, but I needed to make a decision right then and there which is fine I understand predatory sales. I was just hoping to soak in what I have been told by seeing the quote and making sure it made sense to spend 15 grand on 8 windows. Unfortunately, the consultant never sent the quote to me. Before the consultant leaves he told me most customers don't call back after they leave which is odd typically when trying to make a sale you're supposed to follow up with your leads. Then he asks me to do him a favor and when the company calls me for a review of how he did to let them know he was here for a few hours. My question I should have asked him was what are you going to do for me. Unfortunately, they never called to follow up and I never received my quote. I suppose it's a blessing in disguise because I'm sure if this is the experience I get when they are trying to sell me a product I don't have much faith in them being a competent company when it comes to requesting warranty services. read more

"Sarge" came out in December 2022 and gave me a quote for new windows for the whole house and a new sliding glass door. I had quotes from 2 other window companies as well. I selected Optum because of the quality and price. It took a while for Optum to send someone out to do the measurements so the order could be placed; that happened in February. I chose their financing option through Primus - now "Momnt", and started getting charged interest only in January. While discussing an error in the system with Momnt, they found something strange in their notes, and they said the loan had been "refunded". I called Optum, and the customer service person told me that my order has been canceled since they decided they can't honor the quote that was given to me in December. I asked her to get someone in management to call me to explain. crickets. I left a VM for "Sarge". crickets. Windows can take approx 12 weeks from placing an order, and now I'm running into the summer months. SO UNPROFESSIONAL, and not sure if unethical is the word, since no one from Optum management has called me to explain what is going on, but I can confidently say they are guilty of BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. read more

Holy cow. These suckers maneuver the telephonic laws like they wrote them. Blocking their numbers, several different business names, and major cold calling under the guise of "appointment setting for our leader." Lord love you if you fall for these shenanigans and book an appointment or talk to them at any length. I tried being nice to the man on the phone but it took me 12 minutes 53 seconds to get him off the phone and that's after I called out all his call center technique. I have used this company twice. The first time I had windows installed and they did a good job. This time I had my cabinets resurfaced and granite installed. The granite needs to be resealed since there are areas that are not sealed After two phone calls nothing has been done and no one has contacted me. NO I would not use this company again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I had a consultation scheduled to redo my kitchen. They stated that they required my husband to be present for a consultation. My husband and I work opposite schedules so that isn't something that is easily done. Not to mention that in our recent flooring remodel and yard remodel in our home I am the one making the decisions so I am the one that sets up all consultations and schedules installs. These people call me often I usually hang up. I wish I had taken time sooner once I decided to talk to them I talked to a James. Very nice guy. I set an appt fit a patio cover. The gentleman that came out was very professional and kind. He took the time to explain everything in detail. Being a single mom I felt I couldn't afford it. But they made it possible. I recently got another call checking on how I liked the with that was done and they asked me if there was anything else I wanted. I had them come give me a price on doing part of my Windows. They had no problem doing a few at a time. The guys that came to install were amazing. I will have them back to finish the house. And I will recommend then to my friends. Right now I can't give them higher then 1 star. Installation was supposed to be May 4, then May 5 then May 10 when I put my foot down, they were going to do two jobs already scheduled ahead of me they decided they'd try (,my word) to make it Monday May 8. They were reluctant to do that. The management won't call to talk to me. I've suggested giving me back my deposit and I'd go away but no answer. I did tell two people to not even think of asking me for referrals. So for five days I will have been living in disorganization. I had to put curtains back up. Cancel appointments including new blinds for Monday. Sarge the sales rep was typical sales, very pushy because he offered me a substantial discount because I'm a veteran he said the discount goes away when he steps outside to leave. He also said that due to the veteran discount the 3 day period to recind the deal didn't apply. Pretty sure that's fraud. So I was strong armed to make and stick with a quick decision. I have no comment on the quality because we'll the windows are still in the warehouse. Sarge sure had his hand out for the 50% down payment though, now that it's time to deliver it's one excuse after another. If I knew they only had two installation screws I would not have bhone with them. So far sales and guys that did final measurements drove unmarked vehicles wonder if installation crews are more proud to be in marked trucks or if they are going to sneak in and out unknown. Wanted a walk in shower with wheelchair access, got a step in shower with no wheelchair access.Signed the contact on 6th April, work got finished on 15th August.The shower layout got changed without notifying us. I had windows put in a few years back. Since that time I have done nothing but battle with this company. The windows are drafty and now the kitchen window leaks water inside my house. I have heard every excuse in the book on why the window leaks. The windows may be fine but I can tell you, when the kitchen window was removed for repair, there was no window flashing, the window was not wrapped, the shims were inadequate and the insulation almost non-existent. Reliant is now blaming my roof for the leak although there are no water stains anywhere in the house. read more

Worst company ever. 4-6 week? Contract signed April 29, 2019 and still a mess December 2020. They do not keep their word, quality is awful, had to call the licensing bureau but they only assessed minimum of the contract. Promised a jetted floater tub but ended up with a walk-in tub that has many faults. Shower is now 40" x.40". Much smaller than my original. Wanted to upgrade and instead have a smaller bathroom, almost 2 years to complete, shower fixture much lower quality. Having to go to court and asking they remove their materials. $30,500 and 3 other companies state they would do job for $15,000 when we get their materials removed. They will not stand up to what their promises. No permits and many code violations. read more

I was looking to have my master bathroom shower stall and connecting tube be remodel. To remove everything and have one large shower stall with shower heads/fixtures at each end. Searched the internet and found Bath Planet which I did not know it was Reliant Capitol. Call and schedule an appointment with my husband and I. A few day prior to the appointment they call to confirmed which I let them know that last minute my husband scheduled changed and it would only be myself. They insisted it had to be both. I replied it wasn't going to happen. My husband knew that this particular project was all mine. They gave in. On February 16, 2019 Andy (salesman) and Mark came to my home. Andy did his wheel and deal salesman pitch and Mark listen, took notes and showed me samples. I agreed on the price, design and material. Signed the contract which indicated that work will be started and completed 4-6 weeks from signing date. Which I was happy about since the end of March I was expecting family and again more guest the first week of May, I was expecting a large group of house guest and needed the extra shower, since we only have 2 full bathrooms. By the 6th week (March 30) no calls nor any work had begun. Yet, 3 days after Feb 16 they ran my credit card and good my large $$ deposit. Read all the fine print and it states all the things that would happen to the customer if they cancel, change design etc. but nothing on what happen to them if they do not keep up their end of contract. Finally, after several calls and days, Chad (the installer) finally calls. He states that where the material was coming from had a big bad snow storm which cause one of their plants to shut down and delayed the process. I am a reasonable person and would have understood since I knew that the winter weather was bad. But, since I was not informed of this I was now upset since he knew about this for a month. NO COMMUNICATION. This now March 22 and that it would be in AZ in a few weeks. All of April came and went and still no work. Now, my husband gets involve because he knows how UPSET I am. We went to Reliant Capitol/Bath Planet and asked to speak with Andy. Receptionist said he was busy and we insisted to see him. After explaining everything to him he now tries to shift the blame on Mark stating that it was a big remodel and it should have put 6-8 weeks. Even if he did he was pass the 8 wks. He then offered us a voucher for an all expense Cruise for 2 except we would be responsible for the fees. We took it but still was satisfied. Asked what would make me happy. 1) get the done 2) want a "rain shower" head on both sides 3) change fixtures from chrome to bronze. We had him add those to the contract, date and sign. Now May is rolling a round and still no remodel. Finally, they show up on May 2 Friday and start. No work on the weekend nor the following Monday. Guest arrive on May 8th and no shower now only have 1 bathroom to use. May 10 we had vacation plans and remodel still not done. Had my brother stay at the house so they could work on it. Came back from vacay to a horrible caulking job. Brother stated that Chad's son was home from college and did the caulking. I wish I kept the pictures. My 12yr old grandchildren could have done a better job. I was P****. They had to come 2 more times to make it right otherwise I was not going to release final payment. Places caulking was missing, others was as thick as 1/4" and other places was nice and tight but very few. I had to put sticky note in and out of the shower to show all the horrible areas. Today, is July 9,2019 and still not receive the "so call" cruise voucher which was to come a couple weeks after the completion of the job. I've been soooooooooo unhappy and upset with this company that I was not happy. Now, I love how it turned out but hated the headache Andy and Chad had given me. We hired Reliant Capital to reface our kitchen cabinets back in November 2018. We were given an Estimated Completion date of Jan 22, 2019. We finally had the job completed on May 17, 2019. We started calling about the install date in early January and were given the run-around. Then they stopped returning phone calls -- never once returned calls they said they were going to. Installation began in late Feb. only to find out they had ordered the wrong size cabinet doors. They were going to take care of it right away -- well, we finally lodged a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors in late April as we still did not have a completed job and still no one would answer our phone calls. Finally on May 17 they finished the job. It probably still wouldn't be complete if we hadn't pursued our complaint with the ROC. This company is now called Optum Home Solutions. They want $125 to come and $75 an hour to fix the problems!! The caulking sealant on every window is bunching up and coming away from windows. The sliding glass door they put in has come apart in three different places. The screening on all windows was suppose to be so DURABLE... We had to replace the screening more than once, because we could not get someone to come out and fix it with this supposed lifetime guarantee DECEPTION. We will be picketing outside this business to warn potential customers that Reliant Capitol cheats people and supposedly supports veterans. First he waited 15 minutes past our appointment for another sales team to finish. Spared us the 2 hour pitch and only gave us the facts about their windows and company. We told him we were only getting quotes and wouldn't be committing to anything today and he was totally understanding. Took the measurements and gave us our quotes. Left us with all the info and shook our hand. I did not want to give this company any stars, but you have to in order to post the review. I will never call this company for any kind of business or remodeling I have to do. I went online just shopping around one night for estimates on refinishing my kitchen cabinets. This company called me and it went to voice mail. Then 15 min later they called again. Left the same voice mail. This continued for 1 hour. Even after the hour they continued to call and just not leave any more voice mails. The next night they called again! I took this call and told the guy that I was just shopping and I would call him back if and when I was ready to get my 'free' estimate. They continued to call every night for 2 weeks. I finally told the guy to stop calling and that I would call them when I was ready. The next night sure enough the called again. I began to really let this lady on the other end of the phone have it. I told her they need to quit calling me that now even if I were to hire anyone for the job it would not be them. I hung up on her. About 5 minutes later she called back and said "here is a 800 number to call to have your number removed from the internet". I thanked her and immediately called the number she gave me. I had windows installed by Reliant on May27 2018. One of the windows cannot be locked, Three window frames were installed and the nail holes were not filled. And one of the installers laid lit cigarettes on my patio table and burned the table in two places. I have contacted the company several times and finally got an appointment this past Saturday, June 23rd.Between 2p m-6pm.No one showed. I called this morning and was on hold for the scheduler for 26 minutes. I called back an hour and a half later and was told the installer was still on the phone. We used this company to purchase windows for 2 homes and they were expensive. The windows are okay but did not reduce our electric bill by one dollar. The installers were nice but they removed the old windows and put in the new ones without removing my shutters causing lots of damage. I still have one window with a defect which they never replaced. The customer service was one of the worst experiences that I have had. They never come when promised and they do not return calls. When they were touching up the paint in my back yard, I specifically told them they could not come unless I was home because of my dogs and twice they came when I was not home and left the gate open and could have lost my dogs. I ordered 2 doors and finally got one of them but they never put the requested bronze hardware (it is brass) and did a bad job painting the door. They never produced the second door. This company is a nightmare to work with and would encourage you to not use them. read more

Their Sales Rep, Sarge, came out and looked at our window job, gave us a price, and we signed a contract for installation to be done within 6 weeks. Two weeks before they came out, they sent us a letter that they weren't doing the job due to termite damage. We don't have termite damage! We called them, and they said they would find out what is going on, and send somebody else out to look at the job. That didn't happen. Called again, Sarge kept saying the job would be done, that the windows were within 1" of tolerance for size so there was no problem. He was going to call the owner to find out. We called at least six times to find out what was going on, and always got a different answer. Bottom line, they weren't doing the job. I think they under bid it to get the deal, and then backed out. Their contract says that they charge us 25% if WE back out. Sarge was a high pressure salesman who wanted us to sign, but they couldn't back up their claims. Run from this company. I told them the first time that if they call again that I will file a lawsuit against the company for harassment. Guess what, they called again. On the second call, the woman who called me repeatedly interrupted me and then hung up on me. When I called to get the name of their lawyer for my lawyer to follow up with him or her, they refused to give me this information. I had scheduled for someone to give me an estimate for new windows this morning. After doing so, I read the "yelp" comments and became incredibly anxious. I decided to cancel the estimate, called Reliant Capitol and spoke with Andrea. I thorougly expected to get the negative response that many people wrote about on "yelp." I received the opposite. Andrea not only helped me but immediately offered to have my phone number removed from their data base in order to assure that I did not receive any future calls from the company. She wanted to review the yelp comments made by other customers in order to gain some insight into what they could do to improve. Another concern expressed to Andrea, however, was the operator wanting to set up an estimate even after I asked if they used anything but vinyl windows. I stated wanting to match other windows in the house which were not vinyl. Instead of telling me that Reliant only did vinyl, he avoided the question and set up an appointment for an estimate.--which would be a waste of their time to come out. In summary, I did cancel the appointment-- partially due to yelp, but due to wanting a company working with wood and metal windows. Yelp is helpful, and a place for customers to voice their feelings about a service. But I am learning that it is used more by people who are extremely happy or extremely angry. I never see much balanced information and we should keep that in mind when reading the comments. read more

After going through Home Adviser and requesting companies for a bath remodel, the scheduler from a company called Bath Planet (which I later discovered is evidently also Reliant Capitol) called me and wanted to schedule an appointment, but they would not make that appointment if my husband was not going to be present. I explained this was my project and I would be making the ultimate decision and payment, and it would be inconvenient for him to arrange his work schedule to be here. She still refused to make an appointment for only me. I told her I would call her back if I decided to schedule an appointment. The next day Stacy from Bath Planet called and "wanted to confirm our appointment for Friday at 7:30 pm." I told her I had not made that appointment, that my husband did not need to be there, it was ultimately my decision, and that I found it insulting that they would not make an appointment with just me. Stacy went through a long explanation that it would it be a waste of company money to have to keep going back and forth to answer both my and my husband's questions. I thanked her, told her we would not be using Bath Planet, and hung up. Then I called Reliant Capitol to confirm the appointment I had previously made through Home Advisor, and surprisingly this same Stacy from Bath Planet got on the phone and said they were both Reliant Capitol and Bath Planet and was quite rude, said I hung up on her. I have no idea what kind of job they do, but I will not hire a company that does not respect their customers' ability to make decisions, are very rude, and misrepresent themselves. read more

Reliant Capitol called me about 6 months ago. I told them that I was not interested because I was not having my kitchen remodeled at that time. The lady said we can give you a quote so when you are ready I could compare prices. So I agreed and set up an appt. The person showed up on time and his name was Tennis I. He was oh, so nice UNTIL....... I said no and then he flipped like a switch. He started gathering up his samples, yelling at me that he was never going to help me again (I didn't ask for his help in the first place) plus other things under his breath that I couldn't understand. I reminded him that I told the scheduling lady that I was not ready to have any work done at that time but he just kept shouting at me. I have never met a more rude, arrogant and pompous individual in my life. My wife and I chose Reliant Capitol, LLC (Windows & Bathroom Remodeling) located at 725 N 73rd Avenue, Suite 124, Phoenix, AZ 85043, to redo our master bathroom shower in January 2018, following an exhibit at the Yuma, AZ home show. We discussed terms and process with Jim and during the sales pitch, we discussed wall leveling/squaring to which we were assured all issues would be addressed prior to green-board installation. And, there was no mention of potential water leakage around the shower door. We would have selected a different option, had we known. The demo crew, led by Mike, showed up in February to begin the process. During demo, one of the crew cut electrical wires behind the existing wall, severing service to lights and outlets, and repaired the wires and the circuits prior to leaving. The install crew mostly consisted of one person who installed the floor and walls, sealed the pieces in place, and offered us a shower rod and curtain until the glass door and panel were installed. The door and panel that arrived the first part of March were the wrong size and had to be returned. The second set arrived approximately two weeks later and the installer did not have all the parts necessary for the install. He installed the panel and door to the best of his ability and informed us additional parts would have to be delivered from Phoenix. He said someone would be back to finish the job with the proper parts and hardware. Our initial inspection revealed the door was improperly spaced and the gaps between the door and the wall were different on the top and bottom. There is virtually no gap at the bottom causing the door to make contact with the wall when opening and closing the door. Mike arrived in March to complete the installation. We informed him of our concerns and he replaced a channel, added door seals, and informed us there was nothing he could do about the gaps as they were not his fault. He claimed it was the wall. Mike stated the doors are prone to leaking and Bath Planet modified their existing contract because they can't stop the leaks. November 2018, after numerous attempts to fix our shower, my wife refuses to use it and family and guests are unable to use it due to leakage. The amount of water leaking lessens through adjustment but doesn't stop. Improper spacing at the bottom has caused wear marks and damage to the wall. The hardware used on the hinges is incorrect. The door hinge installation/adjustment screws on the upper mount are hex-head while the screws on the bottom mount are cross-point. The cross-point screws are already in need of replacement due to constant readjustments necessary at the hinges. I've called the listed phone number (623-388-8899) numerous times since March, hoping to resolve these issues. Mike requested time to think about a resolution but quit taking my calls. An individual named Raul requested photos and descriptions of our concerns, which I provided at phone number he provided (909-518-2462). Raul has since stopped replying to my text inquires. When I call the business number, I am met with a disdainful attitude that I feel is unwarranted. My wife and I would like to resolve these issues so we can begin enjoying our shower, as advertised. read more

Last spring we contracted with Reliant Capitol to build a screened room on our patio. It was apparently finished at the end of April; but then the rains came. Water seeped into the room in two areas. We called Reliant several times before they sent men out to correct the problem. They caulked what they thought were the problem areas. After three iterations rain, seepage, calls, men coming out to caulk, one of the men suggested that caulking would not fix the problem because the base of the room was constructed on, and along, the concrete's expansion joints. Regrettably, they couldn't fix it without approval of their manager. Rain again, leaks again. More calls and a different man came out. He tested the slope of the patio to ensure water was running away from the room. It was. Next he tested whether on not the water was coming in through the screen. It was not. Then using a shower headed nozzle, he sprayed water, imitating rain, outside the room. Sure enough water was seeping through. He also found three separate cracks in the base. I told him what the prior workmen had said about the expansion joint. He said he agreed but could do nothing without the approval of his manager. (He emailed pictures of the puddling to his manager.) This occurred on January 11. Two weeks later, on the afternoon of January 25th, and we received this response: "Good morning Mr. Mc Mahon, Robert Fulton asked me to pass this information on to you, it's a product called CRACK - PAC Flex H2O Polyurethane Crack Sealer it's a anchor system by Simpson Strong- Tie Robert says this would be a good product to fill the expansion joint that is more than likely causing the water leak."   Bob Ransom Service Manager Reliant Capitol This insulting response 9 months after the work was supposed to be completed. Never do business with this company!!!! Several years ago I purchased their "lifetime" coating for the house. My original paint was over 12 years old and was showing wear. Reliant Capitol promoted a lifetime coating, "better than paint". Warrantied for life. Although it was 3 times the cost, the thought of never having to worry about paint again was a relief. Well, the "coating" started to peel within the first year. However, Reliant was responsive and repaired the issue. Over the next 3 years it continued to peel pretty much on a yearly basis. Once again, Reliant was fairly responsive and fixed the issue. Hence the one star rating. Now 5 to 6 years later, it is again peeling. I contacted Reliant who gave me the runaround for 9 months. Promising return calls, but never actually providing them. The office blamed the painter for not executing the work order, the painter blamed the office for not providing the work order. Reliant quit even taking my calls, so I went to the BBB. The response from Reliant was that they had gone above and beyond during the first two years as Arizona law only requires them to warranty their application of the product. i realize most people are not fond of telemarketers or telemarketing calls. i too am always leary of anyone that calls over the phone. the young lady that called me was very courtesous and polite. the next day there sales representative came to my home showed me all there credential , refferences and of course the product. i was very impressed with quality of there windows and doors most of all was the price, i've looked at anderson and pella and other top windows there product offered me the same quality but at a fraction of the price. anderson quoted $ 23,000 to do 13 windows and a sliding glass door reliant did the same job for $12,000 installation and transferable , lifetime warranty included. over-all i'd have to give them an a+ on there report card. after they come out to install the work i will post another rating . read more
