I Purchased what I thought was a three piece bathroom rug set Online. It turned out to be only the contour rug. My fault I didn't read it correctly. The three piece set was in turquoise only. When I selected black it changed to contour rug only. I tried to return the item that cost $22.00 but the shipping label was $20.00. I call customer service On hold for an one hour & one Minute and was told that for good will they would charge me only $14.00 for the return label. For that price I will just donate the new wrong rug to the Goodwill. My time is worth more that the $8.00 credit I would get. So Sad. read more

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent order I placed for four Kilim pillows totaling $185.96. All four items were shipped together in one box. Upon receipt, I immediately noticed that the color of the pillows did not match the images or description provided on your website. The product was described as "Beige Multi," and the photos clearly showed a tan or beige center. However, the pillows I received have a green center, which significantly deviates from what was advertised. I initiated a return citing the discrepancy between the product received and the website description. I was issued four separate return labels. Despite returning all items in their original condition, I was refunded only $87.21--a significant and unexplained deduction from the original purchase amount for pillows that were not as advertised. When I contacted your customer service team for clarification, I was told that there is a cost to return items, and the return policy was posted on your website, and that I should have read it. I asked where it was presented during checkout, as most reputable retailers clearly display their return policies prior to purchase. The representative was unable to answer this. The lack of transparency and the unexpected financial loss on a return stemming from inaccurate product representation feels deceptive and unacceptable. Getting in and out of this location wasn't too difficult but the parking lot does take a little navigating. The spaces on either side of their store were empty and it kind of had a deserted western town feel to the parking lot. Picture tumbleweeds rolling by while western gunfight music plays slowly in the background. Maybe add in a lone train whistle in the distance for good measure to set the scene. The store itself was well organized and staffed but otherwise empty of shoppers on a Monday at two o'clock. Several Bed Bath and Beyond locations are being shuddered as they try to reorganize the business, and I'm surprised that this location isn't one of them because it just didn't seem to be getting any traffic at all. We had terrible experience with the cashier. Mother was waiting for me to do my shopping when the cashier approaches my mother very rudely and ask her what are you doing, are you waiting for someone? I would give zero stars if able.. I promised myself I would not go back after my wedding gift was trashed after the 1st and only wash. A comforter, 2 pillow cases, 3 decorative pillows. We were given a gift card, decided to decorate a guest room. Then covid happened, I let my daughter stay with us, so guest room on pause. I then finally go to wash the brand new comforter with pillow cases and the comforter is now a few shades different in a few areas. It's ripped down the side. It's literally been packed away since we bought it. I washed last week, wife now trying to sew it back together. Maybe it can be a picnic blanket since it's discolored now.  ANYHOW.. This is not my aggravation today. Today, we were headed to a different store by this store. I decided to check and see if they had a bathroom counter set I liked.  I got a few things, headed to the register. Not the same girl as when we walked in which was like 10 min.  3 people in front of me 6 behind. Cashier was clueless or just didn't care that her line was getting long. She chatting away about colors and patterns she liked etc with a customer ringing him out ever so slowly.  After watching this go on 5 more min, I asked if there were anther cashier to help with the line.  Jerusula was her name, she said NO. She looked, saw the line, then went back to ringing 1 thing a minute with a fun chat, while everyone in the line was getting more and more aggravated. The girl in front of us said she was close to leaving but stayed when I asked about another cashier. Finally we get to our turn, she is rude, grabbing things from my hands, then she says time to put our phone number in, my wife says no thank you, I don't want to put my phone number in, she repeats her words "it wants you to put your phone number in" my wife says no thank you, I don't want to put my phone number in. She glares at my wife, stopped all actions like she wasn't going further until my wife put her phone in. Never saying you must hit cancel. We waited a few minutes while clueless waiting to learn who's got the next move, hers or ours to further the purchase. As she finishes bagging the stuff and sets it aside, I take the bag, grab the last item that doesn't need a bag and begin to walk as my wife is finishing paying.  When the girl handed my wife the receipt with a rude under breath attitude said nothing. My wife says thank you, the girl just looked at her with the same rude looks and attitude.  My wife said the word you're seeking is your welcome. My wife then said not great customer service today, what's your name? She said Jerusula but it won't make any difference in complaining, they won't believe you.  My wife said was shocked... What kind of company would support this kind of behavior. The girl said to my wife, you were rude to me. The customers behind us said, they were not rude at all.  My thoughts are this.. Are we rude for wanting anther cashier since you now have a long line and in a chatty mood or when my wife refused to put her phone number in the machine. Normally, I'd chalk this up to bad customer service and walk, but the fact that she said they won't believe you. That really bothered us as well as the people behind us.  You've lost a customer not because of the crap comforter after 1 wash, but the rudest , most confident in her behavior not being addressed by her employer ... That is what made me walk. Next time, I'll spend more money and go anywhere else. read more

Good question, but I don't want to answer, because it will touch upon the idea that the store is having an existential crisis. So let's just say that the inclusion of massaging chairs and couch covers goes a tad beyond the BEYOND, OK? The prices here are outrageous for what you get. I've always loved shopping at bed bath & beyond but after this week, I've found my new favorite store. The customer service at this location in Mesa, AZ is beyond fantastic! I got keys to a new place last weekend and later that evening I came in here just to browse around. I had an excellent coupon that I'd received from USPS (since I had just moved) so I wanted to wait until all of my furniture was in before I made a big purchase. This same day I did however purchase a patio set. Becky helped me out and got the order written up and had it delivered to my house. It literally arrived 2 days later. This evening I went back to the store to purchase everything else that I needed. It's always nice when someone remembers you. I let Becky know that my patio set arrived and thanked her for that. A few people in the store helped me and after they had all of the answers to the questions I had, I left with a steam mop, a gorgeous shower curtain with nice hooks, some dinnerware, a super cool cooler bag and many other items. I know that there's a few more things that I need to get and I know where I'll be going to get it! This store is clean, organized and the staff is very friendly & helpful; I highly recommend that you stop in for all of your household needs. read more

I can't recall ever having a bad experience in here. I sometimes have come in after a specific item and sometimes come in just to browse and see what's new. When I have questions I can find people to answer them and the people are very pleasant. The prices are fair if not cheap and the store often has items I haven't seen anywhere else. I was able to order inexpensive curtains with the " pinch pleat" for our office. I know I will pop in here every time I'm in town and rarely leave without finding something I can use, even if it's not what I came after. read more

I have been shopping at this particular B, B &B for at least 20 years. Every time I need something for my home or when outfitting my sons for college, I shopped here. Never again after being treated very poorly by Jennifer the store manager! I went in to replace 4 tanks of CO2 for my Sodastream machine. The cashier told me that they had placed a limit on how many could be replaced at one time and the newly imposed limit was 3. I asked the cashier why that was the case, and she did not know. So, I asked to speak to the manager for a rationale to the limit. Jennifer the manager came to the register and told me that they had imposed the limit last week and she said the limit was 2, not the 3 the cashier had just told me! I responded that there were plenty on the shelves, and that it seemed a bit ridiculous to impose this arbitrary limit in the middle of a pandemic which would force me to make additional trips to the store. There were also no signs posted by the tanks, and no other notification of this limit to customers. Jennifer responded that if I was not going to "be nice" she would only allow me to purchase 2 instead of 3! Are you KIDDING me? I have to kiss your ___ to be able to shop there? Well I'm fine with never coming there again if that's the case! What ever happened to customer service? Jennifer could have explained things very differently and kept a customer, instead she was dismissive and punitive. I am astounded at her incredibly poor communication skills and being treated so poorly as a customer. If you want to go to a BB &B there are lots of others around the valley. This one is in a dying mall and their selection has become limited. Do not recommend! read more

Watch out for their shelves! The shelf had a sharp broken plastic piece left on. And of course your hand needs to go in that exact area to access the product. Grabbed my sheets and got a nice cut. I came in trying to exchange a color changing light bulb I purchased a few days prior that I could not figure out how to use. I walk up to the counter to exchange it and I'm automatically accused of stealing it by the manager Jennifer. I told her very nicely multiple times to check the cameras and see me walking in with it AS well as pulling up my phone number which has the purchase and she refuses to do so. I've never felt so disrespected in my whole life by someone and the attitude I was receiving. There's so many cool gizmos in this store. I can see why the movie Click with adam Sandler chose this store as the place where he got the remote that controlled everything in his life. I felt like I was in an episode of shark tank as I walked through the store for the first time in my life. I can't believe I haven't been to one of these before. It's convenient to have this one in my area, especially in the Riverview shopping center. It's good to have another store I can shop at other than just Walmart, Burlington and Home Depot. I found some really nice christmas gifts here. If you need anything for the kitchen or storage this is the place to go hands down. They have everything, alot of which I didn't even know existed. Heard of Whataburger? Welcome to Whataripoff. I guess I was clueless--my wife knew that their prices were inflated but I didn't. Granted, they have a hell of a selection of stuff, but when I saw that their prices for electric razors was about $20 more for the exact same one you can find on the shelf at Target, it turned me off. Target may not be as fancy, and you may not get the selection, but if you want a toaster, an iPod speaker, or whatever, you will get it for significantly less elsewhere. Even the "clearance" items were more expensive or as expensive as shelf prices at Target or WalMart. An example? A clock consisting of a thin wood frame, a fake plastic picture canvas, and a $7 AA-battery quartz movement goes for $70 here, and $30 on clearance. Are you kidding me? No. Come here if you get a gift card--but I assure you it won't go far. . . read more

I love this store. It seems to be your typical BB&B but I will say the employees are very kind and helpful. I LOVE when friends do their registry here for weddings. Super easy to find the items they want AND you can wrap their gift for free right there in the store with their super cute wrapping station. I totally agree with previous reviewer who talked about finding simple things like a butter dish or orange squeezer...maybe not things you "need" but things that are super helpful you cant always find in other stores. When I visit this store I always pick up a few of the BB&B wax melts and I visit the clearance sections. I always find fantastic deals there. Got an adorable shower curtain for $5 because it was the floor model. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. read more

Went into the store looking for a specific item that was on clearance online. The store was a bit of a mess- end of the season sales. But the staff was unbelievably friendly. I was only able to find 1 of the items that I needed and when I asked for help the staff was happy to assist me. Even with the store about to close (I was the only customer left) the staff members helped me, chatted with me, and found exactly the item I was looking for. They even gave me a list of stores that has the item in stock in case I needed more. I will definetly shop at this store again. read more

Worst experience ever!!! We called the store and asked if they had a specific model vacuum. They said they did, we drove there the model they pulled was wrong. 35 minutes later we get the correct one. We spoke to 2 separate managers and neither bothered to apologize for the inconvenience. I pointed out that the sign and the model vacuum on display did not match and nothing. The only decent customer service driven individual in that store was the poor cashier who was trying so hard to help. Her managers wouldn't even listen to her. I will never shop here again. This place is the best. Its dangerous because you know they have all those as seen on tv items that you dont really need but somehow they find a way into your cart. Its got so many items there that can gamechange your house. The bedding area has alot of good stuff but i really like the bathroom section. Needed to do a return here today. Their return policy is excellent and their staff were very friendly. I had no receipt and the item was used so I know it probably looked a little sketchy, but the item was a gift. Regardless, they were very helpful and did the exchange. I purchased some Yankee candles and accessories because I'm a bit of a candle freak. I don't think the candles were any more expensive then they would be at any other Yankee store, plus they had some great deals on them (Clearance etc.) They just seemed understaffed at the front register. read more

I was there today with a $50 gift card. I asked the male associate if they had a foot massager in the back because it wasn't on the shelve. He came back and said he could order it and it would be shipped to me in 2 weeks. I told him I'd rather go look and see if it was in stock at a different location and he stood there and lied right to my face and told me that it's out of stock at all the locations. I took my chance and went anyways to the Gilbert location and there was about 8 of those foot massagers on the shelve.
