About 5 minutes later, Diane appeared and explained to me the storewide sale they were having. She pointed out many items/. I really appreciated this as several items I was interested in were 40% off! As I made my way through the store, I watched as Diane worked tirelessly in a very warm store. Evidently the air conditioning was not working properly. This did not stop her. I purchased 4 or 5 items all because of Diane. I have been in management a great many years and I can tell you, Diane is an employee that needs to be recognized. She relates to customers well and is aware of store inventory and sales. The other woman working in the store that day could learn several lessons from Diane. Well done Kirklands. I'd say Diane needs a promotion and a raise.

The store itself has an odd and musty smell. My partner and I also saw a lot of stains on the carpet, and it overall left a very unclean impression of the store. Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. I can at least respect a store that isn't afraid to carry more niche styles.

So incredibly frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and poor service at this…read morelocation. My husband and I are expecting our first child at the end of the month. We ordered a swivel rocking chair for our nursery when I was six months pregnant. I am currently sitting here 2 weeks away from giving birth and we have YET to receive this chair! We have been patient. We have stopped by the store multiple times to check on shipment times, we have made several calls. We have always been pleasant and understanding. But the fact that we have had to go out of our way multiple times to check on the status of things rather than being contacted with updates is incredibly frustrating. Each time we have called we have been given the runaround or told some bs estimated time. I called yesterday again after having been told previously that "the manager is the one who deals with these things, he'll be in later in the week." As I was giving our ordering info over the phone, the worker rudely interrupted me stating she knew who I was and that the chair was not to be expected for another month when 2 weeks previously we were told it would only be a week. I finally lost my cool and demanded a refund then and there, we had had enough. The worker let us know she would have the manager give us a call personally to go over details. We received no such call. Today, we had to go out of our way AGAIN to drive to the location and figure out wtf was going on. The man at the front (I'm assuming this so called manager we were waiting on) actually asked us "you haven't gotten your chair yet?" when we explained why we were there, as if he was just hearing this for the first time. He took us to customer service where the worker already had the paperwork ready for our refund. Big lack of communication there. There was no apology, no offering to make things right (switch out for a different chair, free delivery, ANYTHING.) They mentioned that we must be in a rush to find something else, nodding to my belly. They ran our card that they were so eager to take two months before and let us know it may be 5-7 business days, maybe more, to see the refund reflected on our credit card. So now we are here playing the waiting game AGAIN and $400 short until we get the refund and can venture out to find a furniture store who will respect our time and hard earned money. I am absolutely devastated that our nursery will not be complete for our son's arrival and he will have nothing to soothe him until we can find another chair. We did our part and ordered ahead of time, they severely lacked the compassion to respect that and keep in contact. Don't waste your time here, go somewhere else.

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this Michael's today…read more I placed an online balloon order for a graduation and had two phone calls yesterday with the store confirming details about my order. When I arrived today, the first employee I spoke with, Anna, immediately had an attitude and told me that the confetti balloons I purchased cost extra to fill with helium and that they hadn't filled them because they weren't sure if I wanted to pay the additional charge. I asked why that wasn't mentioned during either of the two phone calls I received yesterday, especially since I was on a time crunch today. Her response was essentially that she didn't know and that I would need to find someone else to help me because she was busy. Then the manager, Jason, was called over to assist me. One of the letter balloons in my order was a J when I needed an L. I acknowledged that there had clearly been a mistake when the order was entered.. I was not arguing about it or blaming the store. However, Jason repeatedly told me that I had entered the wrong letter. After hearing it multiple times, I finally said, "I understand, you've told me three times. Whatever needs to be done is fine." He then responded by telling me AGAIN that I would have to pay for the replacement because the J had already been inflated and the order had been entered incorrectly. Again, I had already acknowledged the mistake and had absolutely no issue paying for the correct balloon. There was no reason to repeatedly point out that I had made the mistake or speak to me as though I was refusing to take responsibility for it. Mistakes happen. I ordered the wrong letter, and I was completely willing to pay to correct it. My issue is the unnecessarily rude and condescending way the situation was handled by both the employee and the manager. A simple, "No problem, we can get you the L, but because the J has already been inflated we'll need to charge you for the replacement," would have been perfectly fine. Instead, I left feeling like I was being scolded over a balloon order when all I was trying to do was pick up graduation balloons and get where I needed to be on time. Customer service and basic kindness go a long way, especially when a customer is being cooperative and willing to correct their own mistake. This interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant from the moment I walked in. And this isn't my first negative experience at this location. Sophie was wonderful and I appreciate her kindness
