I walked in here with no expectations. My nephew is turning 6. I was looking for some cutesy stuff for him. It is very clean inside and organized, I loved that. BYOBag or pay 20c for their paper bag, or you can buy a reusable. They have a variety of items. Garden, house decor, beauty, pet, millions of stickers and erasers, some Disney Main Character items, etc. Being next to HMart cost wise the food is cheaper at HM vs. here, but you have the convenience factor. The party supplies like balloons are cute and cheaper than anywhere else. Some items are made in Japan.. some in China and some in Europe. I loved that mix. Chair booties...... genius....I have dogs and o hate when dog hair gets stuck under the chairs legs and now I can use those and of course doesn't damage the floor when moving them.

They opened this Daiso not too long after I moved to Mesa. It is nice to have one so close to home and right next to H Mart where I shop occasionally. Daiso has thousands of locations all over the world and has lots of cool innovated stuff. I find the prices to be affordable here. Daiso has all sorts of Japanese inspired products from house gadgets and decor to office supplies to grocery items. I find myself mostly in the kitchen section because I enjoy cooking. They charge a small amount for grocery bags here, so bring one from home.

Daiso Fact: Five Daiso items are sold per second! ― livejapan.com The second Daiso has found its way to Arizona a mere six months after their first location. Insert a round of applause. This location is about half the size of their Chandler location but with them being right next to HMart, they won't have a problem getting people in to spend a small fortune. Items are priced at $1.75+. Consult with the hanging price list that tells you the Yen to USD conversion to see how much your item costs. They have all your usual Sanrio items, kitchen wares, food items, toys, pet selection, stationary, gardening supplies, dinnerware, et cetera. I'm currently loving their Halloween items. Bring your reusable bags here or pay $0.20 for their bag to carry your goods home. Happy shopping!

Daiso!! If you've lived in Japan, you know. Recommend: Without a doubt! Daiso, is a large franchise of 100-yen shops founded in Japan. What Daiso covers down on are both the necessity and non-necessities of what you need, all for breakneck affordable pricing, JUST like you'd find in Japan. To understand a Japanese Daiso store is to know that the products they provide are for everything to make your home life, eating, laundry, toys, endemic to Japanese culture, nick-knacks, bags, socks, gloves, zipper bags, make shift shelving boxes and everything else you could possibly imagine but again, DESIGNED to the space consciousness of living in Japan. I absolutely love these stores and they're long overdue for the growing value of the Phoenix market. These are fun stores and for most Americans, I recommend them for their light atmosphere and brightly lit stores and aisle packed merchandise, especially to learn and have exposure how another culture outfits their homes on the cheaper formula than we do from places like Wal-Mart. Fun store; certainly recommend!

Been here many times when visiting Mesa. They got Book Off and H Mart next door. Very close to Light Rail station. This Daiso has a very good selection of items.

    Well stocked.

Cleanest Daiso I've ever been in! Yeah it's real new and well stocked with all the cute stuff you expect from Daiso. Picked up a few things I wanted for the my kitchen that I really didn't need but that's the nature of this store I think, you can live without it but for a buck seventy five I'll pick one up. And twenty bucks later you're scratching your head. I expect in a year this one also will look like the rest...picked over and a total mess. I hope not. With good management and quality training this place would be the Daiso unicorn. Last word...stay fresh.

A new Japanese store is a most welcome boost to the diversity of the Asian District of Mesa with its mainly Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean establishments. The store is very well-organized and clean and is loaded with various decorative items, utensils, craft items, and snacks. Items without price markings (which are most of the items in the store) cost only $1.75; other items have prices marked in Japanese currency but there are price conversion posters all around the store to guide you. This is a great place to shop for cute inexpensive gift items or even just small amusing bric-à-bracs for yourself and your home. Just be aware that on peak hours the parking lot of the commercial plaza it is in can be very crowded, thanks to the H-Mart in the same plaza.

What exciting news to have a Daiso right by Hmart. Now our afternoons are complete with food, grocery shopping, and some Daiso shopping as well. The store is brand new and has a bit of everything, from Asian snacks to home decor. The prices are reasonable and you might just feel like you are in Japan!

Definitely a better variety of snacks than the Chandler location from when I went last.

Ashley is favorite part/ she's always so helpful & picks stuff out that fit my body & what I'm shopping for. I genuinely enjoy seeing her everytime i go!! My favorite part about this store- they don't carry multiple quantities of the same thing so you really are getting unique pieces you probably won't see on someone else. They have the BEST dresses. At boutique pricing but staples- I have multiple dresses I've accumulated over the years i still reach for & still in perfect condition!!

Upon arrival, I was immediately welcomed and asked if I had any questions or been in before. They let me know each piece is very unique and they only get in 6 of each item, they're the only one in the valley. They had such cute and great quality items through out the store, which everything was extremely fairly priced, especially for such a curated and unique boutique. I tried on quite a few things and ended up getting a beautiful linen like dress. It was so soft. They also have a generous clearance and sale section. They offer a reasonable return period of 14 days. I honestly saw so many prices and I would definitely consider frequenting them to add some lovely pieces to my wardrobe, when the occasion arrives!
