Great selection of Asian beauty products and snacks! I went in with a list and found pretty much everything on it- and I'll note I was kind of pickily looking for fragrance free products since that's what I like best. I also got some fun snacks and gifts for others. I wish the stationary selection had been a little more diverse- everything had a cartoon character I hadn't heard of on it, I was hoping for cute nature themed stuff or something, but it was cute. What a fun little store. I just happened upon this store I wasn't sure what was being sold but it was super busy with people going in and out of the store. It's an Aisan store that sells all kinds of items, Health &Beauty,Houseware items, Toys, Groceries and Beverages and lots of other fun stuff... it was super busy in the store but the lines were very short. Such a fun store to explore. There is so much to choose from, with endless Asian snacks, cute toys, and novelty items. Even just browsing is entertaining, and it really makes you feel like a kid again, even as an adult. I would definitely come back for the variety and the experience. Just avoid the claw machines. A couple were broken with no signs, and the claw would not even close on two of them, so that part was a waste of money. I'm not really sure how to describe this store. It's like a drugstore/small grocery store, but has this really cool section with awesome collectibles, as well as these little kits to make miniature rooms--so cool! There is a row with claw machines, too. It is pretty popular, but I will say the prices are not particularly great. For example, there were a lot of drugstore shampoos, but there are all around $12, more than you would pay at someplace like Target. read more

I have no regrets LOL this place is basically a Daiso but has some cooler things you won't find in Daiso, especially if you're looking for special snacks that are hard to find anywhere else. I finally checked this place out after months of it being open! I first tried checking this place out back when it had first opened and after seeing the line literally out the door, I decided I'd wait until the hype died down. Months later, the hype was still alive as ever. I pulled up to the parking lot before they opened at 11 on a Saturday and I already saw people entering the store, so I went ahead and did the same. It was already filling up right at 11! There are so many aisles of all different kinds of things from home goods to a freezer section. While everything was in Japanese, there were still signs and little descriptions posted everywhere for each product with a rundown of what the product consisted of in English. The prices were actually pretty decent. I thought some lip balms and face masks could've been cheaper, but then again you're paying for the higher quality ingredients than the crap made in the states. However, I got this adorable ceramic bowl that was actually ginormous for about $6 AFTER tax! I'll include a picture of it. I've been trying to find an oatmeal bowl that was on the bigger side for a while now. Amazon's selection is pretty lackluster, with other websites selling ceramic dishes getting in the near $40's for a single bowl - crazy! Go ahead and check it out. The crowd slimmed down and the cashier line is very short. Lot of people in there looking and not buying. They only accept credit cards, no cash. The store has lots of processed foods including many Korean brands as well as cosmetics, toys and home goods. I was next door at Daiso and felt it was my duty to check out this place. This store also has great Japanese snacks, but with a greater focus on frozen treats- perfect to beat the heat. As you can imagine even mid weekday, this place was busy! In addition to snacks, you can find lots of toys and even fun little crane vending machines (UFO catchers). I also noticed an awful lot of asian beauty things, and if that is your thing this is the place! I'm still more of a die hard Daiso fan, but this place has its spot and focuses on different things. Super cool store! They have so many different items that range from home goods, snacks, pet accessories, makeup, beauty, health, to kids toys. We walked in closer to closing time and it was still pretty packed. They have two rows of vending machines that are equipped with some cute plushies / toys. This area was pretty busy! The store is big and each aisle is packed with different items. I bought my dogs some treats without really knowing what they were but they seemed to have really liked them! Teso Fact: Teso Life is a Japanese fashion casual life product department store. Founded in May 2017, the company is headquartered in Queens, New York. What a fun place! They have such a unique collection of Japanese items here. While not as cost-friendly as Daiso, this place does offer a lot more. Their UFO catcher (claw machine) and figurine selection alone is impressive. I enjoyed their pet selection, and I'm totally eyeing a fried shrimp toy for my cat. If you don't like hearing loud KPop, Teso is not the place for you. Teso is like a mini amusement park to me; there are bright lights, loud music, and so many things to look at. I'm really sad that I'm completely unfamiliar with the majority of the products in this store, but I was happy to see rows of Asian beauty items, foods (snacks, ice cream, noodles, cookies), gadgets, dishes, and toys/collectible items. I wish there were more Sanrio themed items, but you can always go two doors down and find yourself a Daiso. :) A month and a half later, this store is still busy, but there isn't a wait time to get in or to purchase your items. These stores have been a thundering success since build completion and the brightly lit, well organized floorpan, FULLY staffed checkout counter personnel and overall diversity OF their products are - top notch. Very busy store and thousands of products from funny little things that some Americans would consider humorous, to extremely useful products that the Japanese really use based on their very size compromised style of living in Japan where real estate in and throughout your 'home' (there); is extremely compact. So the items you see here are what you'd see being sold in Japan and serve in that capacity. The toys, food, game booths and entire environment here when I visited it on a Friday evening was nothing short of PACKED with people. There is an enormous ethnic community drive and need (for these international stores) and they amply built the size of this to meet the community of people like myself that enjoy these. The store was clean, diversified and honestly packs so many items, I'd say just come IN and take some time to browse around, it's really worth it and you'll certainly enjoy picking something up from here even if it's a simple refreshment! read more

After an amazing trip to Japan a month ago, I was aching for another Japanese fix. Because of Teso Life, once I finish some products I bought in Japan, I can drive to Chandler and buy replacement products because this store has it all! It's not nearly as cheap as actually being in Japan, but you save money on a plane ticket! They have an extensive selection of skin care, hair care (including &honey) and a lot of the snacks I fell in love with on my trip. This store made me giddy because of the amazing selection. You might want to set a spending limit for yourself before you walk in because if you are a J beauty lover like me, you'll want it all! read more

Finally, was able to get inside! I need translation on some of the products because looking for something simple such as sugar or hot chocolate was a challenge. Never found it! ‍ It's a cute store. It reminds me of a "Five Below" but, with higher prices and everything on packaging is in Japanese. They have a variety of items from dumplings , body wash, cold beverages to noodles...I will return one day, to continue looking around. I was only able to browse 2 isles before getting a headache due to the bright lights. I could take all day trying to figure what things are which explains why the lines are long on weekends to get inside. I wish they would place tags up in English above the products, to help or either have employees walking around who can translate what some of the items are. They have vending machines for kids to play and pick out a teddy bear and then there's, a section with freezer goods and drinks ( Bagged food items such as pot stickers/ dumplings and boxed ice cream). I recommend going to browse at least once on the weekday, when there's absolutely no line to get inside. I wasn't impressed enough to stand in line to wait to get in. On the weekends the line is out of the door and leading all of the way down the sidewalk. I don't understand the hype over this store but it's always fun to browse read more

Looking for unique Japanese items? You can find those here at Teso Life or next door at Daiso. They opened weeks ago but I did not want to stand in the super long lines. They sell everything here from snacks, drinks, pet stuff, household items, health, bath & body, makeup and toys! I think of it as a Japanese Walgreens lol. The only difference is they have claw machines with cute stuffed toys. I didn't check how much the games cost. I ended up grabbing a few items. Overall, it's okay. Some items seemed reasonably priced while others seemed overpriced. A couple of the items I grabbed are available in an Asian supermarket but not sure if they're about the same price or not. This was opening day 1 hour 10 mins to get in Long lines to pay Expected We came here expecting to find the ingredients for New Years Ozoni soup--but they do not stock plain mochi/rice cakes (they do have filled mochi and dango), fish cakes, produce. This store reminded me of. Mitsuwa Market in Hawaii without the produce, seafood, meats section. We love their snack section, so many different flavors of lays chips I had not seen in other asian grocery stores around. Meh. Cool place, but quite overhyped and overpriced. Teso Life is essentially a Five Below, or a Walgreens, but Japanese themed. Honestly, it's a sensory overload. BLARING K-Pop music. They have a lot of cool ramen and candy but none of it has American price tags. Once again, unique establishment, but I don't think I'll be a frequent visitor. This place is filled with all the Asian health, beauty, snacks, beverages, and products from Asia. My mom and I went to town. She got plastic containers for organization, snacks, and ceramic cute plates. I headed straight for my childhood Asian snacks and goodies. They are well stocked and clean. *YELP WORTHY* This place is AWESOME! We came after seeing a post about this place on IG. There was a long wait to get in and it was so worth it. We left with all kinds of goodies from snacks, to squishies, to skin and hair care products and cutlery. The prices were so affordable that we kind of went crazy on the items in our basket. They had a cool selection of wooden box structures, anime decor, Sanrio toys and other cool collectibles. If we lived in the area we would be here a lot. Great selection of Japanese items, from beauty products to snacks and grocery items. They also have weekly specials which is nice to get items discounted. Price is at least 50% or more compared to actually getting the in Japan and that's not bad. I wish they carry real mochi like the ones you get from gift shops. I really miss those and also more selection of Japanese sausages would be nice. Things I normally shop here are sunblock face lotions, frozen ramen, frozen sausages and sanitary pads. read more

My first experience with Teso was through the online shop in my quest to find a very specific drink I enjoyed on vacation in Japan. Shipping products from New York of course was very expensive so I was excited to hear of it's arrival in Arizona. Although the Tea I'm looking for isn't at this location, I'm still very glad to have the many other Japanese and Asian products available. I've been twice and must have got lucky since lines weren't an issue. I like how bright the lighting is in store to make up for the condensed aisles. There's a wide range of products available such as Gundam, snacks, drinks, kitchen gadgets, face and health hygiene to name a few of what I was most interested in. Prices can range to very affordable and great value to quite expensive but also fair for the quality of the product. Overall, even if a product is "cheap" there are no disappointments in what I receive but possibly surprised at how much better it is. After thoroughly perusing and grabbing some snacks that were showcased in sale up front, don't forget to buy tokens at your checkout to play the claw grabber machines. Glad to have this store here now, holding out in hopes that suppliers broaden for larger variety of goods. read more
