This is definitely the cleanest Five Below I've been into. All the clothes were folded and none of the items were horribly out of place. Like most locations, this store didn't disappoint with the graphic tees. But what mildly impressed me with this location was the selection of offbeat books you wouldn't expect to be interesting. I don't *need* the books, but I bought three anyway. They're only $5, so I basically got three for the price of one NYT best seller. The reusable bags are stocked near the register (you get charged for plastic bags, and a reusable bag is only 35 cents). Service is good. There's someone to greet you at the door and help at the registers. I'd recommend this location for people looking for thrift stores. read more

Clean and well organized. I needed some things for Easter and their selection was well stocked and again, organized clearly. It was easy to find things I was looking for. After Easter, I had three balls that we turned out to not use so returned them. Had the receipt of purchase and the employee was pleasant and friendly as she processed everything. I was expecting a credit back to their gift card but she surprised me by crediting my credit card instead. That was great because I don't tend to shop here often. A great experience overall. Came to 5 Below to pickup gift boxes which they had, but the checker at checkout was super rude & condescending. The store is a glorified dollar store full of junk made in china. Person manning check stand (self checkout) Insisted on counting the 10 - 15 cent candies I was purchasing while I was at self checkout, and honestly rude. Well, I hate reviewing negatively. I haven't been in this particular store in months maybe since October. Usually it's always a self check out. Maybe they changed the way they do things, but walking up to check out with my kids, another customer was busy scanning her things, but this cashier insisted she scan my items. Ok but why I wondered. Now, they no longer provide bags at checkout. You must purchase bags which i can understand but I hate it. As others came up she called for more help but I felt like I was singled out. I go in and have spent hundreds of dollars there, over the most ridiculous cheap things. I'm not a fan anymore. No, I will not be returning and wouldn't be upset if they closed and another ticky tacky store took its space. And on the note, each of my kids picked out 2 bags of candy, when I asked my daughter to have the cashier scan her candy, the cashier said she had already scanned it which I knew she didn't. Ooop her bad. I could've, gasp, walked out with something I didn't pay for. In all, it's stupid. The check out space is tiny, heaven forbid you have more than 5 items, and the bags they force you to purchase for those items are small. Super small. Im sure to get you to purchase yet another useless thing you'll regret once you leave. Thank you 5 below, for reminding me why I don't return. And if you have that many people (about 30 different groups shopping) in your store why only have 3 registers open? So cashier Betty can regulate and make you feel like a criminal? No thank you. Needing a new yoga mat so I stopped by Five Below to pick one up & see what other gym stuff they currently have. After picking up a few items I head to checkout to purchase my items. Immediately a white female with glasses starts following me then proceeded to hover over me. I tell her I don't need assistance. She then stands around pretending to work. I'm not stealing sweetheart I have $15 you don't have to hover over me. The nerve & audacity I definitely won't be back & I will be filing a formal complaint. I definitely won't be back. read more

It finally opened!! Five below didn't disappoint. They started your trip in with music playing pout front. Gave me a chance to win a prize in a drawing. Then I shopped. They have books, great gifts for all ages, books to write your own music, poems, drawing, you name it. Then they had cosmetics and a few clothing. Electronics, phone cases, cords, power banks. Toys and board games, playdoh, Disney toys and more. They have a really fun candy section, make bag of your favorites, or pre-bagged it boxed. Snacks for road trips. Soda. You should come in!!! Everything under $5? Ya girl's a cheap binch so this is my kind of store for sure. This is a great place to get lots of random stuff or cool small gifts for cheap. They sell a range of things from random small electronics/accessories (phone cases, chargers, blue tooth speakers etc), toys and art supplies, candy, fitness accessories, fun tees and home decor. The merch is definitely aimed toward kids/young people/college kids but I feel like there's still lots of random interesting stuff available. I'm a fan of their $5 T-shirt section and have gotten a cute JAWS tee as well as some cute retroish Nintendo Mario and donkey kong ones as well. It's interesting to see that they carry official Nintendo or Marvel labeled merch. I saw an official Captain Marvel snapback hat for under $5 which seems like a pretty good deal. Was also eyeing the fuzzy Sherpa blankets, cute salt lamps and diffusers for $5 bucks as well. As everything is under $5 and has a ton to choose from, I would definitely hit up this place first to find gifts for kids and young or young-hearted people. Self checkout is nice, and there is an employee there if you need extra help. All in all, great addition to this plaza, right next to Dollar Tree in case you wanna go on an even bigger shopping spree with dat hard earned money ;) read more

Yessssss!!! I'm SO glad this Chandler location FINALLY opened!!! Everyone has asked me "What exactly IS this store?" And my response has been the same.... "It's like a Dollar Store on crack". Everything here is $5 or less. More name-brand items, tchachkis, and electronics/accessories available here. Plus, they have a great little section of t-shirts with classic graphics and catchy grades and memes. If you're a teacher, this is a wonderful and cheap place to buy your students incentive gifts and treats. They have a huge wall of various board games that would be great for a game room. Most board games are prices $15 or more in regular stores. This would also be a great store for white elephant or work gifts, gifts for neighbors, etc. tons to choose from. This location sits right next door to the Dollar Tree, so hopefully the Dollar Tree won't lose too much business. Smart move on Five Below's part, not so much on the other. This is a self-checkout store only. No cashiers. The clerks walk around the store to help. I will definitely be returning here!!! read more

I've been wanting to come here even before they opened and I finally did today. The store is really clean and well organized. It's a great place to find a cheap little last minute gift for kids. They have some cool things especially for the price. And even better the guy working there was nice! I was greeted coming in as well as assisted at the register. Bad. I am mad. I looked at some of the photos and they did not have any fidgets or squish mallow. My daughter also wanted a cobra kai poster because she is oddly and weirdly attracted and obsessed with this boy name Miguel Diaz. It showed that there was a Miguel poster but there was not. This place is like a dollar store on steroids. Lots of trinkets and things you never thought you needed all at your fingertips for 5 bucks or less... I've been to other locations previous to this location opening. I have to say, I'm somewhat disappointed. Other stores are stocked with so much stuff but this store was sparse... don't get me wrong, I love that there is one near me now and won't stop shopping here, but this one, eh.... this location has been open for a while but not nearly the amount of products other locations have.
