I've been going to a lot of different thrift shops lately and unfortunately this was my least favorite. Volunteers run this thrift shop and they carry all sorts of things like antiques, clothing, shoes, jewelry, books, houseware, and children's toys. I did find a couple of cool items- a vintage doctor scale for $85, and a radio, tape, CD and record player for $55. I just didn't find anything that appealed to me but I would definitely donate here rather than Goodwill as they help the community with the proceeds. read more

This is a volunteer run thrift store with profits assisting local people and local organizations. It feels good to donate clothing, shoes and stuffed animals that my children no longer use. If you'd like, tax donations receipts are given for your contributions. I see that they have different an eclectic group of household things, pet supplies, sports equipment and medical items such as canes etc for sale. If you are purchasing, they offer free delivery of furniture, when available. Hidden treasure is a clean, organized store that supports local needs. I'm for that! read more

Good selection, however came in 15 minutes before closing and was immediately told I have 15 minutes to shop which is fine, later about 5 minutes before close man yelled "5 minutes to close put the pedal to the medal" so I felt rushed and flustered to even shop. I get you have an early close time but don't yell at customers and tell them to hurry it up. read more

I went here with my mom a few weeks ago. We found some good items to purchase. Before we paid, we remembered we had a ton of donations to drop off. I brought in 3 large bags full of good items (clothing, housewares, collectibles) and the woman at the counter gave me a receipt for the donations. I saw a sign that said "no public restrooms" but I figured she'd allow me to use the bathroom since we just donated hundreds of dollars worth of items and we were bout to purchase about $40-50 worth of merchandise. I asked her if I could use the bathroom and she said " we don't have a bathroom here". I said "then where do you guys go to use the bathroom?" She said " well we don't let customers use the bathroom here". Wow. Pretty rude. After she just got a ton of donations from us and I felt like I was going to pee my pants. So we put all our merchandise back on their shelves and left. I will never go back here. read more

This is a great store. The employees are really energetic and nice. They make me want to shop here more often and also donate items I no longer need. The items are not overpriced at all compared to other thrift stores like Goodwill. I got 4 pairs of pants for $1 but also with an additional discount. read more

It is so disappointing that the employees never acknowledge us or thank us when we drop items off. Stopped in here for the first time yesterday. I was able to find a few used things at a very reasonable price! Couple of articles I picked up were even on sale price, so an additional discount off was taken at the register. Staff is extremely friendly, place is well organized & clean. Came to find out (during my visit) that this site is supported by the Arizona Lutheran Churches, which takes in donations from ALL their local branches. Contributions are then brought to this location to sell for profit. All monies raised is then gifted to charities & causes they aid in. *These organizations are showcased to the right of the doors as you walk in the store.* This whole concept operates solely by volunteers who provide their generous time & services to manage the thrift. I like the way this program works and that it's all for great causes. I support that 100%!! Be back again soon! read more

Okay, so I LOVE this thrift store! It is very clean and very well organized! The staff are all older people who volunteer their time and they clearly care about the store. You'll find they have very reasonable prices on their items and, if you donate items, there's a coupon "20% off if you spend $10 or more" on the bottom of the donation receipt. read more

This is honestly one of the best thrift stores in all of Arizona because it is actually a thrift store and not an expensive secondhand store. I feel like a lot of places here have really beautiful stuff but the owners buy from other places and resell in their stores, so the prices just go up and up and up rather than people being able to buy the items at a cheap price. For me, the whole point of secondhand is to be able to recycle clothes rather than buying into fast fashion. However, when you go somewhere and it's too expensive people tend to just decide to buy new rather than used. This store is great because the people who work here are super nice and it's for charity so they don't hike up the prices of things. You can get really nice, vintage items if you look hard enough, and you don't have to pay much at all. They even have a really neat fabric section with very decently priced fabric. read more

It was okay but a little high for my budget and preference. The only thing I saw that grabbed me was a cotton lavender rug, not in real great shape but only $2 so I went ahead and bought it anyway. I didn't see any yarn but I did see a few other crafts. I didn't have much interaction with the clerks but they seemed a little short with other customers that I heard them talking to. Things were pretty organized and clean looking. They are very strict about closing time. When I had my own store I would always stay open to accommodate potentially buying customers but these ladies were very anxious to get people out of the store by 4 p.m. There is a separate storefront with furniture down at the end of the strip mall and it is open during regular business hours Monday through Thursday only. I was told if they had enough employees someone could walk down there with you on a Friday or Saturday but not if they were short on Clerks. That is understandable. They do close at 4 everyday which would make it difficult for people to come after work. I've been in town for nearly four months and this was the first time I made it in before they closed. I wouldn't mind coming back sometime and looking through the furniture section. read more

Just when you think you have been to every thrift store in the valley. When I came to Hidden Treasures I was not looking for anything specific but ended up buying some really great items. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was, I am so use to thrift stores being on the dirty side. The staff truly understand what the biblical meaning of volunteering means. Everyone was very kind and eager to help with anything I needed help moving or lifting. I was excited to find out that all of the money they earn go towards several different local churches and that Hidden Treasures was a non profit business. I would defiantly recommend checking this place out if your in the area. I will surely be returning soon for some bedroom furniture and who knows maybe I will find an original Picasso painting. Unfortunately one crotchety, rude employee/volunteer has soured my impression of this place. There are many signs posted about how children are required to be seen and not heard so it shouldn't be a surprise to me how I was treated while shopping with my two children. My kids were by my side the entire time (I am not a willy nilly parent who is unaware of their kids' behavior in public) and I turned my head for a moment and I guess my 4 year touched a plant which prompted an aggressive woman who worked there but standing out front taking a break (I assume) to police everything happening in the store. She slammed her knuckles on the window which grabbed every single person's attention in the store and began to make nasty rude hand signs to show me that my daughter was touching something...I did not understand what she was trying to say so she proceeded to make a nasty face with down turned eyebrows and crazy mouth motions. If she wanted to talk to me she should have came in the store and talked to me face to face instead of making quite the scene. This aggressive woman has soured my experience at this store which is a shame because I've been shopping here for years and instead has made me want to post about my absolutely negative experience on every social media outlet possible. I did also inform the women working upfront about the sad experience and they apologized profusely. I said I was sorry for turning my head and that the entire 30 minutes we were there the kids were behaved and they complimented me on that. If you shop here with your children in tow, you might be chastised, be warned, proceed with caution. read more

Went here looking for some bigger pieces of furniture, bed frames,dressers or side tables. They had some in store and a whole other area around back the plaza with more. We were disappointed with the selection, there was lots of stuff but the kind of furniture that's giant and has no use but taking up space. Not a store to look at furniture at. The clothes for adults was the majority of the store, they had a small kids section and a good size book section but not all that impressive stuff, again that junk that just takes up space. Alright prices and friendly staff, we liked this store more than goodwill but we just hate goodwill. read more

With ALL clothes (except coats and their 'designer' rack) on special for 2 bucks on Monday and Thursdays, you can't beat this. Small, clean with exceptionally nice things organized well. Wonderful selection of crafts and their prices are lower than Goodwill by a long shot. Run by a consortium of churches, so the $$ go to good works. A personal favorite, and the volunteers are helpful and kind. read more
