Large thrift store with a huge selection of everything clothing, furniture, beds decor, antiques, nicknacks etc. Value 4/5 I looked at a few items that caught my eye but was surprised at the prices. We are regular consignment patrons in Mesa I used for basis of my score. Granted this is a revenue hub for a great charity so sales are supporting a faith based Children's housing and Sanctuary. Honestly, because it's a typical thrift store I don't always find clothes, in my size but when I do, they're usually pretty good brands. Today, I found a couple vintage pieces a stained glass candle holder and Christmas advent candle centerpiece, knitted stocking and two cute dresses! I know I'll cherish these items for a really long time so definitely come when there's deals. I spent $20 on all these treasures! I came on Black Friday everything was 50% off!

After a few minutes I looked back over and was told someone is coming. 5 minutes later, I look over at four employees behind one counter and fifth in front of it. On certain days they will do sales on different types of merchandise. I went here a few days ago and they were doing a sale on jewelry, 50% off. I have actually found lots of pet items for my own pets at home...collars, bells for collars, potty pads, toys, etc. I've also found quite a few trinkets. So, off to the register I went to pay for them. The clerk looked at the first one and said this is $12.00. I corrected her and showed her the price tag of $3.49. She then said that if there is a code on the item, which in this case was a hand written 'LP' on the inside, then it's a different price. I told her that's not correct. The price tag says $3.49. I then asked to speak with a manager. The manager confirmed what the clerk said. I said how would I know as a shopper to look for codes that mean a different price? Then I asked didn't a Goodwill employee put the tag on it and both the manager and the clerk said no, it wasn't. So who did?? They never responded to that question. Long story...the manager ended up giving me both items for $1.75 each. Does anyone else think something is fishy here??
