Told her we had very small living room. She replied we don't have small sectionals. I did not get her name but was happy we were going to shop on our own without her around us. After about 20-30 min of browsing the living room furniture Eric Mastern asked if he could help us. He immediately showed us where the smaller sectionals are. We found two and then were back and forth on which one. We finally decided. He was patient, knowledgeable and professional. Made me give 5 stars because of him on my review. If he had not found us, my rating would have been 2. The store is very nice and good prices with sales. He also informed us of renting a pick up truck right there so we could bring it home ourselves. That is an excellent feature AFW has. We were packed up and ready in less than 20 min from purchase to their truck and driving it home. Thank you Eric!!!

We ordered a coffee table from them that had to be special ordered. We've had it less than two…read moremonths and noticed that the molding on the side of it was peeling away, so we attempted to file a warranty claim. First of all, you can only make claims via a web form, which we did, and included a picture of the issue. They stated they take up to 48 hours to reply, and they pretty much did that to the minute. They basically accused us of physically damaging it, mind you that was off a single picture we sent, and then informed us we would have to pay for the repair. Didn't offer to send anybody to check it out, or even offered to allow us to take her to the store for an assessment, they basically just tried to put the blame on us, when we did nothing to cause the damage. I've used other stores such as Bob's discount furniture, and when we had a warranty issue, they sent someone to our house, to not only verify the issue, but also make the repair. I could've purchased this table elsewhere, and based on this, I will in the future because they refused to stand behind the products they sell.

As we entered the store you could see the salespeople huddling waiting to be the first one to pounce. Not a great sight to see as a buyer, however, once we said we were just looking to see what was available they left us alone. Occasionally as we were walking around someone would ask if we needed help but for the most part they left us alone. This allowed my wife and I to look and discuss our needs and budget. The pricing was pretty good and we were convinced that when we were ready we were going to go back and make our purchases.

Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. I would consider them more of a rustic, farmhouse with a touch of industrial style feel. If you see something you like, you may find it again (and again) in similar styles or colors but always ask the staff as they tend to know the location of the items throughout the store. We typically zone in & look at the details to ensure consistency, durability, and sturdy construction of items. We didn't have any success on this trip but also a bit disappointed with the price point for certain pieces as this was just 1 of 5 stops we made that day & similar items were priced lower. We will continue to keep them on our top spots to shop for pieces moving forward as their uniqueness is what sets them apart.

Halloween came early and I love it. I can always bank on the Halloween stuff being out and ready…read moreright after the 4th of July. Today did not disappoint! Walking in I gasped with excitement. I see the wonderful Halloween things right away upon walking in and I was like a kid in a candy store. For me Halloween is my favorite holiday so my eyes light up like I am a kid again. Going down the aisles I could see that they were still stocking things and there would be more to come, but there was enough to keep me interested and scouring the aisles for what I wanted this shopping trip. The aisles were clean and clear, and the employees were nice whether they were in the store on the floor or at the cash register, which made the experience very pleasant. It's always so tempting with all of the ghouls and goblins and skeletons and pumpkins galore. Today I left with some cobwebs for my fireplace mantle for only $2.99 wow! What a deal!! It will look absolutely perfect.

We ended up leaving with a mantle decoration, but they already had everything from the giant skeletons and yard decorations to a few inflatables and plenty of indoor décor. The store was clean, easy to walk through, and the cashier was nice and friendly, which made for a pleasant checkout. Their prices are kind of a mixed bag. About half the time you find something and think, "That's a really good price," and the other half you're thinking it's a little more expensive than you expected. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it seems like a lot of their larger decorations end up with some kind of damage. If you're buying one of the bigger items, it's worth taking a few minutes to dig through the stock and find the one in the best condition. Other than that, it's a fun place to browse, especially if you're ready to start decorating for Halloween way too early like we are.
