Such a fun antique shop in Apache Junction. This place is packed with cool vintage finds and you never know what you're going to come across--old signs, collectibles, quirky pieces, and stuff that instantly brings back memories. I could've spent way more time just wandering around. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, not pushy at all, and clearly know their stuff. Prices felt reasonable and the whole place had that cozy, nostalgic antique-store feel I love. This antique mall in Apache Junction is definitely worth a visit if you're into vintage and collectible items. They have a wide variety of booths and vendors, and what stood out to me was the quality of the inventory. It didn't feel like a place full of random yard sale leftovers--this mall has a lot of genuine collector-type items. I saw a great selection of old tools, vintage bottles and jugs, and brand-specific memorabilia like Coca-Cola and John Deere pieces. They've done a good job of keeping things organized and interesting to browse. You could easily spend an hour or more just walking through and finding cool surprises around every corner. Overall, it's a great stop if you're into antiques, collectibles, or just want to explore a little bit of local history. I'll definitely be coming back to see what new treasures show up. read more

Was excited to check out this place for the first time. This is the first thing I see as I walk in. How DARE you as a business allow your vendors to display such horrible products sold as "antiques". I was very angry and did cause a scene demanding these be removed when I was told "HUH? It's history". Fuck your "history". There are just so many antique malls around town that just suuuuck! Fortunately this isn't one of them. The mall is huge, so make sure you have at least an hour to go through here. There are a ton of booths here, each one filled with more unique stuff than the last. I have to admit when I walked in I wasn't expecting much, but we found all sorts of little trinkets we couldn't live without. The prices were super reasonable too, and on some I had to do a double take because I thought surely that can't be right. The employees were nice and pulled things out of cases for me to handle without giving me a hard time about it, but the owner is an interesting figure with some pretty pointed opinions on politics. I don't have any problem with it, as even if I don't agree with somebody I believe everybody has a right to their own beliefs, but didn't ask to hear them either, so it was a bit off putting. This location has withstood the test of time as many locations have closed in the last couple of decades. It opened in the mid 1990s in what used to be the old Bashas' plaza. Through the years, I've always loved to browse this store and have some amazing antique pieces scattered throughout my house that I purchased here. The workers are always so friendly, and this recent visit even offered to hold the few items I had up front so I didn't have to carry around. Some of the prices can be a little higher than I would want/expect, but overall they are priced to sell. Hope they keep stocking Wedgwood as that my personal favorite to collect. This store is a great place to stop in for a dose of nostalgia. They have items of all sorts from all different years. From collectible dishes, to childhood favorites, to clothing of the past. You never know what you're going to discover through each step. There were so many things to look at and ooh and aah over, we walked around for almost two hours... lol! The staff was very friendly and happy to help. They even offered to hold items at the front for your convenience while you shop. The gray haired, tall man with glasses. I'm assuming he's the boss or manager. Stands behind the counter or hides in the office. His demeanor is forceful at the least. You can easily tell that the staff is afraid of him. Why? I can't fathom, he's a nobody. The store is just a thrift store. I have many pieces of art I wanted to sell him. I brought in a couple pieces of my collection to test him before divulging all I had, he told me to go away that my offerring was trash! That moment another buyer asked to plug in a lamp. Probably to see if it worked but before she could say a word, he looked at her and said we don't want or sell that trash! She was shocked! Then he realized it was his lamp, from his store and that she just wanted to check that it was working before possibly making a purchase. PATTERNS. The best thing the owners should do would be to remove this inhospitable person from their store. By the way, he doesn't seem to realize he has competition very nearby! This antique store is PACKED, and guess what...it's actually full of antiques and not half taken up by a bunch of crap collectibles from the early 2000s like the others we've been to. It's easy to walk through (I ran into no trip hazard issues or paths too narrow to traverse and I'm not a small person), clean, diverse selection , has restroom facilities, and very attentive staff. I always had access to someone to open a case for me, and they were very helpful/friendly. I felt welcome. They had a lot of new items coming in even during our short visit, so I'm excited that we can come back again soon when they have fresh inventory . Keep in mind that pricing has little to do with the shop. I feel like people are always negative about the shop when it's the booth owner who's at fault for that. Individual booth owners price their goods and I've found a lot of sellers basically want to publicly display their items and have them priced 3x what they are online like eBay. We still found a lot of reasonable items and things we've been hunting for for a while. Other negative reviews seem to be about how they wouldn't buy their stuff from them, so that really isn't a good representation of their service as an antique store. Come shop if you like antiques. Some genres worth mentioning- collectible glassware, oil cans, cast iron, fiesta ware, glass and ceramic figurines, furniture/decor, lamps, Native American art, toys/cars, knives, metal wall signs. While the store was decent, the owner was hateful and rude, and had an error of sleezy. I simply asked if he knew of a certain item in the store, an item that is actually quite rare and quite valuable (which I collect). I understand vendors rent booths and he is not likely to know many of the items in the store, but the item I asked about is something you would remember. His response was "I've been in the antique business ??? years and never heard of them". He sounded like I was asking a stupid question and the item doesn't exist. I started to explain what I was asking about and it was VERY clear he had no desire to listen. I just stopped talking and left. His loss, these items were typically made in Europe but but are often found in the Arizona/New Mexico areas due to the "western" influence. Had he been open to a simple conversation he might have received a little education on what to look for as they are pricey and sought after! Will NOT go back. read more

It is a nice antique store, but the owner is rude and hateful. He really has a problem. He went off on a customer who was listening to him explain what made a knife valuable. And attack that customer and told him he didn't like people listening to him talk, cussed, and was very rude. Told the guy if he didn't like it he could leave. I said he was bing rude to a customer who was only interested in what he was saying. He told me to might my own business and I could leave too. A few customers left at that point. He was almost ready to blow. he took his hat off and put his hands through his hair. It was so unbelievable. I really felt bad for the first man. A lot of us customers just left. Out here in the western part of the United States, it's nice to find an antique store that actually has antiques! It's big enough that it's worth the 1-hour drive for us west siders, and we almost always come hime wuth a treasure. The management is always helpful and friendly. One of my favourite places to go - and bring people. First off, you go to the Good Apple across the way and get a SMALL frozen yogurt. Why a small? Because they're huge! Then walk on over to the Antique mall to have a look at all the amazingly cool treasures they have. I have purchased several things in the past and felt the salespeople were honest and fair. Had a valuable antique end table to sell so contacted them to see if interested. I provided a detailed description of my item and they seemed interested both times I contacted them. As they requested I shlepped this fairly heavy deadweight in from the parking lot with my bad back, I had to hunt down store representatives who both promptly disappeared after I explained why I was there. Couple of minutes later a different guy reappears walks a few feet over, then from about 25 feet away from my end table hardly glanced at it and just says "not interested" turns on his heels and walks off!
