Huge building, open everyday, great deals. I love thrifting, this is a really great stop and I try to swing by whenever I can.

First of all, I had no idea this place was the size of a small nation. I walked in thinking, "Little antique shop, I'll just go up one aisle and down the next." Ma'am. Sir. There is no "up and down." This place is a labyrinth designed by someone who said, "What if we hid Narnia behind every dresser?" I got lost at least three times. Possibly four. At one point I genuinely forgot: What I came for, which direction I entered... who I am as a person. Every time I thought I found the "main path," I'd turn a corner and BAM! secret pocket room. Hidden alcove. Side quest unlocked. Now, to be fair, if you are someone who enjoys treasure hunting, rummaging, discovering trinkets you didn't know you needed, and time traveling, this is your Disneyland. There is stuff. So much stuff. Trinkets. Bobbles. Whatnots, galore. Things your grandma had. Things your grandma refused to have. I went in looking for one very specific item. I did not find it. I did, however, find three existential moments and mild spatial disorientation. Did I have a good time? Yes. Did I leave with what I needed? No. Did I briefly consider dropping breadcrumbs to find my way out? Also yes. Three stars because it's impressive, chaotic, and an adventure... but if you go in with a mission, be prepared to lose it. Possibly along with your sense of direction. Would return. One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is going on a treasure hunt as I like to call it & this particular antique store I just love! We've been to this store several times over the past couple of years & every time I'm lucky enough to find something amazing yet half the time my choice is in the locked cabinet..... lol! This store is extremely large so you can definitely be there for a few hours because they have everything that you can imagine! The store is also well spaced out for as big as it is & it's not cluttered like some antique stores can be! On this last visit I completely lucked out because I've been eyeing a figurine in a glass case & it was still there! Well once they took it out & put it in my hands I knew I wanted it.... a Giuseppe Armani figurine so delicately made, I fell in love & the price.... Could not beat! Then on another visit in another locked glass case there she sat.... This gorgeous Sweden " Strombergshyttan " crystal vase of a girl holding a bird cage, underneath the vase is signed & numbered. Yes I basically walked away with a steal, my husband had to tell me to stop smiling! I just love this store, there's such a large selection to choose from for all tastes out there! Mind you it's not in that fancy zip code but do not let that discourage you because sometimes when you drive out of those zip codes that's where's there'll be some extra treasures lingering around! read more

This place is a treasure trove! It's packed with unique finds -- I spent a couple of hours exploring and still didn't see everything. What a great find. I love shopping for antiques when I can and this place did not disappoint. Aisles an aisles of memory lane items. Prices fair in most of the booths. Of course there were a few gougers if you know what things actually cost, but not too bad. By far my favorite booth this go round was the records. So many amazing vinyls. I came out oath quite a few that I hadn't been able to find anywhere. Service was friendly and even offered to walk my items up front and gave me a ticket so I didn't have to carry anything while I shopped. I can't wait to go back. 3.5 Stars My sister and I love to check out thrift stores around the Valley. However, we always forget that Sunday is not the best day to go thrifting as many shops are closed or have limited hours. My sister found Call It New Call It Antique and we stopped in last Sunday. The first part of the store was very unorganized and hard to navigate due to the volume of...stuff. As we made it to the back and side of the store, it became more organized and clearly divided into booths. The prices really vary and depend on the seller. Despite moseying around for about an hour, we didn't find anything worth buying. I am uncertain if we will return. read more

Everything is very organized. I could definitely see myself spending more than 1 hour here. Super size antique store with something for everyone. This is truly a wonderful place to search for your next gift, costume, Knick knacks, memorabilia, Vintage clothing, vintage toys, Physical media, etc. You can easily spend several hours here browsing around into different unique booths. Horrible store!!! Cool venders but the people working here are complete scum!! I went in on a decently busy day, wearing expensive clothing with a hoodie on, I'm sure they have a problem with theft but profiling and kicking someone out of your store when I was going to drop a few hundred dollars is pathetic!!! Hubs found a rare and exceptionally well preserved Budweiser beer light that he absolutely loves and looks great in our pool table room. Before visiting Call It New/Call It Antique, I suggest you be sure you have a good 2-3 hours to browse. This place is amazing! They have everything from dishes to clothes to toys and furniture and magazines and pretty much anything you can think of. If the staff walking around sees you with items in your hands, they'll offer to hold them at the front for you and will give you a number to claim them at checkout. There's typically plenty of staff available so the wait to checkout usually isn't long. There are lots of vendors here, some offering few items for a select demographic and others with more fun selections to choose from. They always have some sort of sale going on and have easy to follow guides that list what's on sale and how to identify those items through the price tag. You can often find items up to 70% off and vendors often have their own sales as well. This place is a must visit, in my opinion. I've managed to leave with some pretty good treasure at a great price! read more

Just wanted to mention that booth #55 is selling purses labeled as being made by a specific artist, but they're not actually from that artist. This place is awesome. My family loses their minds every time they visit and always want to make a pit stop here. The aisles or booths are truly endless. Essentially individuals have both or sections in the store in rows and they mark the price of their items and will also mark if the whole both is on sale. There is then one main check out area that catalogs and rings out everything all at once. Everyone is always so friendly and offers to take anything up to the counter to hold while you continue shopping. You could easily be in the place for hours. They have dish ware, vinyls, glassware, tools, decor, accessories and really anything and everything you could want. Lots of unique pieces for reasonable prices. They have a chair sitting outside the bathroom and I put a purse on it while I went inside. When I came out, a lady with short black hair, bangs and glasses came up to me to tell me "no merchandise in the bathroom" when I told her I didn't bring it inside, she said "I saw you." A purchase by my granddaughter ...$5..."Grab Bag"? a stained cut up shirt, old broken phone and some kind of junk drawer ring and some hideous sticker . When I ask the manager why they would allow junk to be sold as a grab bag...she informed me that it is a mystery bag...clearly the bag says grab bag. She even said some people would be happy to get this bag. NO I don't think so. She even went as far as to say she would wear the shirt. I have been going to this store for some time... it has become a junkie and crowded maze. They do have antiques but they also have a lot of items no thrift store would take... Do not consign here. I had never tried consigning before. My items were priced really low. I would either yard sale them, sell on Ebay or just donate for a tax write off. Because I live quite a drive away, I didn't come in to see my items when they could be in a markdown phase. I thought the markdowns would show up in the consignor portal. No markdowns ever showed up in the portal. When I finally was able to get to the store, the store had taken the items into their inventory, and I can't get them back. Thats on me for not understanding that the consignor portal would not show the markdown, which would have alerted me to go get them. I do like shopping here because of the variety. However, I will just take my business closer to my home. read more

Best housewares thrift in Phoenix, hands-down. I love visiting goodwills for essentials, and boutique vintage stores for curated pieces, but Call It New is the best for bigger vintage furnishing projects and to get inspired on a budget. I think I spent 3+ hours here the other day... You'll learn about items you didn't know existed. And when it's time to leave it's because you're tired or they're closing, not because you ran out of stuff to look at. Look at their monthly color tag sales and for booths with sales. You can tell which booths tend to overprice, but most are very fair. For example, you can find a much higher-quality vintage lamp at Call it New than you can for the same price on Facebook Marketplace. Just bring a snack cause you'll be there for a while. This place is wonderfully AMAZING! Why is this place amazing? 43,000 SQ Ft and over 200 dealers... Compared to the Brass Armadillo, though smaller in both vendors and square footage, this place is MUCH MORE endowed with items! The sheer volume of items is mind boggling. Prepare to spend over an hour at a minimum - and go get lost! This place has been hidden from us for over five years, but not no more. I will continue to come up from Tucson for this place. Points to ponder: Staff: Super friendly, helpful and courteous! Building: Open 7 days a week 11-5 pm; very well lit and packed full of items. Walking around room is sufficient and they practice/request social distancing and masks. Items: JAM packed all over, to include consignment items. Very well impressed with this antique mall. I'm sure if you love to browse these kind of shops, you'll certainly want to put this on your Maps app and hit it. The place is clean and well organized. Lots of variety from antique to vintage. Tons to explore! Jewelry, toys, furniture, clocks, hats, fake fireplaces, records,,the list goes " on & on"! At the time I was there lots of Xmas too! They seem to try to catalogue as best they can as you walk through the various sections of stuff throughout the store. If you like retro things, this will be your paradise. Some of the merchandise is really shabby. Some is in good condition. None of it is exceptionally cheap, but I believe you can get a discount if you pay in cash? They were also putting on a sidewalk sale when I came. I noticed outside they had what they called "runners". It's the way they operate for sales. Give yourself much time to wander through ALL they have to offer. Many little "nook and crannies"! So fun just to browse, didn't buy a thing but had joy in just looking.. Noted a few things weren't really antique or collectibles items, but rather things you could find in a general thrift store. Customer service wasn't great. Was looking for a particular theme & the two ladies I approached at separate times didn't know if they even had it or carried it? This was my first foray into their world of antiques, but I suspect it won't be my last. I'm curious to make it a mission to find unique treasures! LOL read more
