We were eating in the plaza right across the street from this market. I hadn't visited in a long time and decided to check it out. This market had quite a variety of mushrooms. As I looked at other items, I thought to myself that prices seemed higher than their competitors down the street. I also noticed that they were hardly any shoppers here. I am sure that this store is fine for others. The appeared to be well stocked. I will continue with my tried and true stores.

After living in Scottsdale for over 10 years, my favorite Asian grocery store is Asiana Market. Located in Mesa at the Dobson/Southern intersection, it is in a medium sized plaza. Upon entering, you will notice that there is no strong fishy smell that other larger Asian Grocery stores frequently have. This is very unique and appreciated by myself who is very smell adverse. It's well lit and well stocked. I especially love the produce section. I always buy some fruit, Asian pears, shine muscat grapes or what is in season. The fresh vegetables are always tasty. I really like how clean the store is, the floors and neatly stocked shelves fill me with a sense of calm that I cannot experience at other Asian grocery stores. The staff and even the clientele are calm and courteous. I have shopped at all the well known stores and yet I always come back to Asiana. It is my go to store to shop for my Asian groceries. Beyond the checkout and to the side is a snack food court area and nice bakery. I really like the small size of this eating area. If you are looking to buy special Asian ingredients for a meal or dish or you go shopping weekly for Asian items, Asiana is the prefect grocery store!!

Stopped here since I was at the bakery. I was looking for a new specific bagged ramen but they didn't have it. This place also carries really good cold noodles that come in 2 portions per bag for $6.99. Only Asiana and HMart have this product. The spicy cold noodles with broth and sauce is my favorite! If you're looking for specific Korean items, you can find it at one of these two stores. Some items can be pricy while others seem reasonable. Other items I can only find here are the soup stock pouches (10 per bag) and gochugaru (red pepper powder) in a shaker bottle. I use both of these to make kimchi jjigae. I can't remember the prices of these since I purchased them a while back. I wish the Asian grocery store in Chandler carried these so I wouldn't have to drive to Mesa for them. If you're looking for Korean specific items, this would be a great spot to look!

Great spot to grab groceries and they also have a bakery and food isle! The service is fast and the atmosphere is also good and lively with music. This spot is lot less crowded so great to visit if you want a less crowded environment.

I could get lost in here! My daughter and I set out in search for some mushrooms, all shapes and sizes, as we are very much a mushroom family. This was my first time checking out this market and it surely won't be my last. They have mini carts for the kiddos to enhance the shopping experience for the kiddos and add in a little fun for them. My daughter chose 5 different types of shrooms and loaded up on some of her fave veggies. The produce is fresh and well kept. They had employees restocking and pulling close to date items throughout the store, which was nice to see. We went down each isle and chose some new items to incorporate into our meals. Everything is well organized and labeled so it's fairly easy to shop. The staff was friendly at checkout and even gave me some inspo on some of the items we had chose. Along the other side of the store they have multiple restaurants and tables for dining so you can shop and grab lunch. I couldn't believe how big this store is and how many items they have. I can't wait to go back!

It's a good market in Arizona, with a focus on KOREAN (as opposed to Chinese, Vietnamese or Japanese) items, 'tho have universally used Asian food items. The prices are fair and it's a nice well lit, organized and clean market with an adjacent food court of Korean counter service restaurants.

We had the 5. Bulgogi and boneless chicken bites. Both were delicious.

We had the 5. Bulgogi and boneless chicken bites. Both were delicious. The 5. Bulgogi was a little bit expensive but it was definitely worth it. Had great flavor, texture and more than enough for both of us plus some to take home. The comments were hit and miss on the service but I thought all four of the check out workers we dealt with were positive and helpful. Everything was clean and welcoming.

Asiana is a well stocked, upscale Asian grocery store that we never tire of walking through and finding something delicious to buy. Today, with Arizona hitting an all time new high for cases 2,227 on our way to 30K, I was wonder how they were doing and if, they were doing anything differently Not to worry, Asiana had everyone masked up and someone disinfecting (photo) the carts with spray, as they were handed them to you. Our Asian family also finds their food court to be one of the best around. They have five different cultural options, including our two favorites: Tous des Jours and Katsu. There's more of course, inside and out; but we never get tired of coming here. Enjoy!

Large selection of items, a little hard to navigate though. Bakery was amazing. And produce was very fresh.

Ask the Community - Asiana Market

Do they sell Sashimi grade Salmon?

    Yes

Is there sushi grade fish available?

Yes, not a huge selection but they have. Try to go around midday. Mostly basics - salmon, tuna, squid, tako, etc. typically see Uni (sea urchin) and a few different types of fish eggs too.

    Do you except food stamps?

    Yes!!!

Do they have curbside pickup? Or do they have delivery service?

    None of that.. yet!!

Do they sell ube (Filipino food)?

    Yes.

Do they sell frozen bro buns?

    Do they have Indian grocery?

Asiana is like the Home Depot of korean food. U may find some curries but not too much else. Go to baiz market or mekong plaza supermarket for indian foods.

Does Asiana Market carry bento boxes?

They do not carry bento boxes. They do have prepared meals that vary throughout the week.

Does Asiana Market still sell soju?

Yes, I saw many flavored soju there.

This one is fairly large but I've only stuck to browsing a few aisles of interest, so not sure what all they have. I did notice they have products from a variety of countries including those in South Asia like India and Pakistan. I come for the rice crackers and mochi, and the rice crackers (Bin Bin brand) are a good price and satisfy my cravings. I like to share them with friends (family don't care for them - too sweet). The mochi flavors have been hit or miss: I grabbed the maple pancake one on my last visit and it tasted as expected, good stuff. Some of the other flavors have been lackluster, depending on the brand. I'm sure they have lots of other items to purchase but I stick to the snacks for now. I always park in the spots to the right of the market and haven't had issues. There's also a great boba spot within walking distance, so that's another place I like to frequent. Def recommend checking out Lee Lee's!
