Both Doctors Duncan have been taking care of my and children (now adults) eye care needs since 2004. Great service and always professional.

They are a fantastic team! I've been seeing them for over a decade and when they move I follow. They are kind and pleasant and take the time to explain things and seem to truly love what they do. I don't feel like just another number to them. The front office staff have always been very friendly and super helpful especially when choosing frames and seeing as I take my eyecare very seriously, I appreciate that so much...Thank you :) Very Sincerely, Christina Altman read more

I've gone to Dr. Duncan since literally a kid, has always taken priority to my eyes health, growing up I was made sure to take care of them and enjoy life as is, I don't want to be TOO deep, but I've always held my sight very important since it's a particular prescription. If it wasn't for a doctor and a kind staff that makes me feel welcomed and my eyes health are being taken care of, I may not have been able to see the lovey things I have in my life. Super genuine, they make sure you get what you need for your budget, and have great options for your eyes needs (great glasses selection). 11/10 Trustworthy people that have always been incredibly respectful and kind read more

My first time here and not my last ! the minute you walk thru the front door the office staff is so friendly & welcoming. The office is super clean & following protocol. Dr. Duncan is so kind and knowledgeable. I recommend this optometrist, thank you Dr. Duncan & staff for the great service! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Duncan for sometime. He's a great doctor, very personable, knows what he's talking about. I wore contacts and glasses for probably 20 years, Dr. Duncan had suggested lasik and got it done. Now I just go in for sunglasses and I exams. What truly amazes me about this doctor, is that he was able to find a weak spot in my retina, and a spot where it had torn in the past. No other doctor that I've seen has mentioned anything about this. Would definitely recommend him. I am very stingy with my five star reviews, so when I give a business one, it's well meant read more

My son referred me to Dr. Duncan after he had the best experience! I do not like eye exams and have a lot of anxiety because of past experiences. Dr. Duncan and his assistant Teresa were amazing from the moment I entered their office. Dr. Duncan spent time with me after my exam explaining options regarding laser, contacts, glasses. His knowledge and professionalism were impeccable. I cannot express my gratitude for learning so much about my eyes that I never knew before. We take our eyesight for granted at times and forget how important it is to take care of our eyes and have our yearly exams. 5 stars are not enough to say how awesome Optometry Unlimited is. Spread the word tell your family and friends! Thank you, Dr. D and staff:) Danette read more

Great customer service, affordable, available. I came in with lots of questions and they went above and beyond

It's a family practice that treats you like family. New location: corner of MacArthur Avenue and Bristol street, right behind the Chase bank and next to the LA Fitness. I have been coming to see Dr. Duncan and Dr. MyLihn for a good amount of years now, since they had their other office by South Coast Plaza. I just really appreciate how amicable everyone is in the office. The staff is so nice, and always on top of things, like when I walk in on an annual basis they still recognize me. Their practice is honest, if the Drs see that there is a major issue they will do as much as they can to solve a problem, they don't just get you to get glasses just because or just to make a buck, they will tell you the truth. Knowing that it's a family practice, personally it makes a difference. I usually come on the weekends (by appointment only), but there were times where I really needed to see the Dr. during the week and they try their best to squeeze me in. That for me means a lot, since most offices would had told me to wait until an opening. Another wonderful thing is their variety of frames!!! I'm a huge Dior lover, and optometry unlimited has a great variation on frames and prices, they even allow to make payments on them. Overall, I am so pleased to have genuine eye doctors who really care about my eye health and not just my wallet! So if you're looking for a good eye professional, try Optometry Unlimited, your eyes will thank you. read more

For some time now, I had been in the market for a quality, reasonably priced, knowledgeable and reliable optometrist after several years of being gauged for overpriced designer frames. I really found a gem in this conveniently located office!. Dr. Jeffery Duncan provided exceptional service! He was honest and upfront so I trusted him to help me make the best decisions for me! Right of the bat, he put me at ease. He was personable and very patient so I didn't feel rushed or pressured during my visit. He listened intently to my concerns regarding my vision and updated my prescription for both glasses and contacts in one visit!! What was important to me as well was the thorough explanation regarding my options each step of the way in very easy to understand terminology. For months, I thought old age was getting the best of me as I strained my eyes to see things up close. With some professionally calculated adjustments, I was able to see up close as well as far away. Loved it!! The front office staff was super nice and let me try on a bunch of different frames with not a single complaint so I could find the right ones for me. Additionally, the prices are super reasonable which made me one happy customer! I highly recommend Optometry Unlimited and am definitely coming back! Thank you Dr. D for helping me see so clearly now! read more

5-stars! After trying many eye doctors, I can confidently say that Dr. Jeff and Mylinh are the best. I've been going to them for a number of years now. 1. They are friendly, personable, and always make you feel welcome. Her staff are just as great. Very friendly and helpful. 2. Very professional, never high pressure sales as I have experienced in other offices. Affordable pricing. 3. Very knowledgeable and informative about your eye care. Exams are always very thorough and comprehensive. They are truly doctors of the eye! 4. They have a great stylish selection of frames. I can always find the perfect pair, I have even splurged and sometimes bought multiple pairs. 5. Location is convenient and their office is very modern and clean. 6. They take VSP. I have referred many family and friends without hesitation. They treat you like family! I give the Dr's Duncan and Optometry Unlimited my two thumbs up! read more

***IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A NICE, CLEAN AFFORDABLE OPTOMETRIST OFFICE WITH A GREAT DR AND STAFF YOU SHOULD COME HERE*** This is by far the best optometry office I've been to so far. I took my 7 year old daughter to get an exam today and we loved the whole experience. I called the office around 10:30am to make sure they took our insurance and was answered by a lovely receptionist who confirmed they did so I made a same day appointment for 4pm. We arrived at 3:45pm (It was easy to find the location (thank God lol))We were greeted as soon as we walked in, checked in and as soon as I finished filling out the first time patient questionnaire one if the lovely ladies there took us into an evaluation room. After that we waited in the lobby, looked at the variety of beautiful frames they have and were then seen by the Dr. The Dr. was great with my daughter and she was very comfortable with him. He was very informative and answered all of the questions I had. I didn't feel like he tried to up sell, like most do, so that was GREAT. After the exam, we were helped with looking at glasses for my daughter. I was informed about my insurance coverage and we chose a pair. Overall, GREAT experience. Will be coming back for myself and my husband! They were so nice they even adjusted my glasses which I got a year ago at a different place. Optometry Unlimited is a great find. The staff and Dr. Duncan are excellent. Dr. Duncan has a very caring approach, and truly desires to find the best solution for his patients. My family and I see Dr. Jeff Duncan. Dr. Duncan is very knowledgeable and is great with our 2 sons (ages 13 & 10). The office staff is very efficient. Their selection of glasses is great and if you see something you want they can search online and order it for you. I was able to take some sample lenses home to try before purchasing a 90 day supply. This place was out of the way for me. By the looks of the outside I wasn't expecting much at all. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They were very nice and the doctor was very knowledgeable. I was happy to take some sample contact lenses home to try before I committed to them. The only disappointment was that my appointment was at 10:30 and they didn't see me until around 11:10. I have a follow up appointment on Friday so I'll let you know how that goes. -----update----- After my appointment today I would like to update from a three-star to a five-star. They were right on time with my appointment and the doctor was very helpful and addressed my concerns with the sample contacts that I had taken home. The doctor recommended a few other options and for the first time I'm happily going to try one month contact lens. Overall I'm really pleased with this practice and I will be returning here in the future. I highly recommend this place. Winky face ;) read more

Great selection and awesome service! Will go back soon. The staff helped my husband get his first pair of glasses as well as my grandmother.

I recently relocated to the South Coast Metro area and I was looking for an eye doctor in my area. I found Dr Jeffery Duncan's office and I was impressed and happy when I arrived. The ladies in the front office are really nice and Dr Jeffery Duncan was nice and easy going as well. The office is on the small side but for me that was okay and fit what I was looking for. There were a variety of glasses to select from and I love my Lucky Brand glasses!!! read more

My son is extremely scared of any Dr. no matter if its eye, dentist, etc. Dr. Jeffrey Duncan did an amazing job of calming him down and even making him laugh during our visit. I was amazed at how smooth he was about getting my son to take the eye drops. If it were anyone else my son would have flipped out. Mr. Duncan was extremely informative and helpful. We definitely had a great experience. Thank you for all of your help. read more

Choosing an eye care provider is an important health care decision. With Dr. Jeff Duncan and Dr. Mylinh Duncan, you can trust them to help you maintain a lifetime of good vision. Both Dr. Jeff Duncan and Dr. Mylinh Duncan are the best optometrists I've ever known. They always take the time to clearly explain the results of my eye exam, making certain that I understand. I have plenty of time to ask any questions. They have a wonderful staff that provides great service. I am always treated with courtesy and kindness. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I got there a few minutes before my appointment, had a little bit of paperwork and the Doctor saw me promptly and spent time explaining my prescription and options without rushing. I didn't get my lenses corrected there as I have to shop around for the ones I want but it's a pretty convenient one stop shop for eye-care needs with nice staff. read more

This is a family owned and operated business. The Duncans take extra time and effort to make sure your glasses fit perfectly. The eye exams were thorough and their frame selection was excellent. I've been going to them for 5 years now and their new location has much better furniture and decor. They recently handled the warranty on my broken frames without question and they have a very friendly staff. Highly recommended. read more

If you are going there for just an eye exam, the doctor is pretty good. He doesn't try to push tests on you and is very informative...so if you go for just the eye exam, I would give it 4 stars. As for purchasing glasses there. DON'T DO IT! They mark up their frames around $50 OVER RETAIL PRICE. This is just plain robbery...I could get the same frame and lenses that they offer for only $5 more at another retailer (who is open 7 days a week, and until 9pm everyday, except Sunday when they close at 6pm, thus more convenient...and I get them in an hour vs 2 weeks!). I completely understand maybe not being able to have the same services as the other larger retailer, but to price above sticker price is UNACCEPTABLE! read more

After two years of not visiting an optometrist, I gave this location a try, and I must say I loved my experience. The receptionists are very nice and friendly. I just got back from seeing the eye doctor and had a great experience! The front staff was helpful in giving me directions to get there and very friendly. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable. He is also likeable in conversation (easy going). They did not try to sell me anything I did not need which was nice. I will be back next year for my yearly exam! read more

I've been coming here for years but I won't be coming here anymore. It's run by a husband and wife, Mylinh and Jeff Duncan. Mylinh is great but Jeff is not so good. Unfortunately, it seems like Mylinh is reducing her work load so you get stuck with Jeff most of the time. He comes off as being cold and unfriendly. They had a great front office person who was very helpful but they recently let him go. The remaining office staff is not quite as knowledgeable or helpful. I was quite offended by one of the staff the last time I was there. Oh well, time to find a new optometrist. read more

After calling several optometry offices i came across Optometry Unlimited. I was able to get an appointment the next day which was so awesome. I was super happy and more than satisfied with the service. The office is very clean and has a great selection on glasses. I highly recommended and look forward on receiving my glasses and taking my son for his first eye exam aswell. read more

Absolutely 5 stars! I have been to other offices and have never felt so good as I did with my experience at Optometry Unlimited. Both Mylinh and Jeffrey Duncan are friendly, personable and most importantly, I felt they wanted the absolute best solution for me and for my son.
