THOROUGH! Love Dr. G she is amazing! Great customer service and eye exam was like no other I have ever experienced. All my questions were answered. After examination by Dr. G. she fit me with these orange framed tester lenses to see what I will receive with prescribed lenses to make sure I know what I'm getting in the prescription!!! Love this feature! Office was clean and all of the office staff were warm and welcoming. It's a one-stop shop too. Nelson helped me pick out the perfect frames for my glasses. Love, love, love this place. Wish I came here years ago. Its so close to home and I can't wait to get my new pair of glasses. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this FAMILY. Met them a year ago. They are all so genuinely nice and humble. I finally got my Vision Insurance and went to see Dr. Patricia Atie-Fimreite. She thoroughly explains herself and what things mean in case you don't understand. She gives you undivided attention. Dr. Jeff and Mike Fimreite are also amazing. The front desk girl, Natalie, is awesome. She has a nice demeanor, soft and friendly tone. She's also very patient... I was freaked out and being a baby when she had to use the tool to "poke" my eye... LOL. Ana, the Office Manager, has years of experience and is very honest with her opinion on how glasses will look on you. I had my heart set on one, but it didn't come with the large "plastic nose" - it fits me better than the norm. So i had to go with a different brand. If you want an Optometrist who listens, is patient, kind and attentive.... come to PAJE Optometric. You won't regret it. read more

I definitely don't recommend this place. The front office staff is so unwelcoming and lacks experience. You have to trust the people at the desk as much as your optometrist. I ordered a new pair of ortho k lenses for my daughter because she was having an allergic reaction, and we wanted to ruled out anything that could be the cause of it, that meant new contacts. First they struggled with my insurance and I ended up paying out of pocket. This was 879$ for the new pair, which took three weeks to get here, and when I picked it up, I was asked to sit, meanwhile the three girls were chatting. Then they gave it to me on a regular case! Which if handled improperly could get contaminated or confused with someone else's. Really cheap looking. The girl didn't give any instructions as to which one is left or right, my daughter's name was not of the case or anything, just really cheap looking. When I asked about it , Karla said that they always have come like this, which is not true, because the previous two pair came in an assigned bottle with a code on it, and identifying left and right. The case had a stain on the top like white residue, it made me really uneasy about it. I will not be back at this office even if it means paying more somewhere else, just for this visit was $879 and for them to handle me a dirty cheap case it's just so unprofessional. read more

I'm very disappointed. I went to see DrAtie for new eyeglass prescription &attempted to pay with my cal optima insurance. Dr.Atie is an optometrist, not an opthamologist. Not a medical eye doctor. She still tried to diagnose me with a medical eye issue. She also expected me to pay for the "treatment " for said eye issue out of pocket even though I came to the appt using my vision insurance. I felt that seemed deceptive so After my appt I contacted my medical insurance to sort out why I was expected to pay out of pocket for "medical grade eye drops. I then found out that since she's an optometrist not OPTHAMOLOGIST, it's against the law for her to diagnose me with any medical issue. So, after Learning that , I went back to her office. She refused to speak to me after I explained what my insurance company had told me. She instead had her staff stonewall me and humiliated me by talking down to me In the waiting area so everyone had to listen to me try to explain that I needed a prescription to take to the pharmacy. Also during the appt while I was trying to use my insurance to pay for my glasses Her staff just kept trying to convince me to purchase Armani designer eyeglass out of pocket. Every time I attempted to ask her about the frames covered by my vision plan she just kept trying to call my attention to the more expensive pairs that my plan doesn't cover. She also tried to convince me to get the most expensive lenses that again my plan wouldn't pay for. Before I left my appointment I again attempted to get further clarification on how to get reimbursed through insurance for the treatment drops bc I assumed it was part of the appt so that should mean my insurance covers it at the appt. They still expected me to pay out of pocket. I also didn't get a physical copy of my new prescription so I had to waste my time going back the next day. Just about the worst optometrist appt. And She denied she had given me a medication or treatment for the eye issue she diagnosed me with. I think she is balance billing her Cal optima patients( making them pay out of pocket for unnecessary issues in order to get more money- the money Cal Optima isn't providing) in order to line her pockets. And that is fraud. she DID state to me that I needed these items to cure a medical issue. If she were honest she should have told me that she is only able to prescribe glasses, as an optometrist, but she is not an OPTHAMOLOGIST, an actual Medical eye doctor. She also didn't allow me to ask questions about why I would be required to pay out of pocket, nor did she tell me why she wasn't giving me a prescription for it. So she did a lot of double talk yes it's a " treatment" - " but it's Not a medication,"I looked it up online and does require a prescription-I called my insurance when I got home and they acted immediately to get me a prescription to my pharmacy and to conduct a fraud investigation, if you want to go see this practice just know your rights and the laws but mainly that she will try to scam you for $. *As an update,As a result of the grievance I had to file, and after the insurance company contacted the Doctor to inform them of the investigation, only then did I receive a call from the staff telling me I could come in and get the refund and return the treatment. So, I was able to obtain my refund but only after my insurance company contacted the doctor about the investigation, not because they wanted to do right by their customer. Today, Sep 5th, I went to get my refund and the staff member Anna, attempted to engage me in an argument and escalate the situation instead of providing my refund. I heard her locking up , so I guess she waited until the doctors had left to attempt to engage in a verbal confrontation. Her exact words were: Your review was out of line, it was, " Well, it's not out of line if it;s all true! But the fact that she planned to try to corner me into changing my review or have me apologize, when she herself was the one who needed to apologize is completely inappropriate and bordering on hostile. So I added that to my grievance with my insurance. I thanked her for my refund and wished her good luck. that practice and woman is not somebody I wish to deal with again. buyer beware. read more

If your Eye Insurance has PAJE listed as a provider go there!! I've worn glasses for most of my life and I've never received the personal attention that I got here from any other franchise type Optometrist. Will continue to be a customer. Thank you. A gem. I'm just absolutely blessed to have found Paje . Their eye exams are thorough, staff is kind, polite and highly trained. Dr. Atie, who I see about 2-3 times a year for my dry eyes and prescriptions, is patient, explains the process well and never leaves my questions unanswered. I feel welcome and know that my eyes are in the best of hands. I would highly recommend anyone here and I look forward to bringing my children for their future eye exams. read more

Before I was going to an optamologist who no longer was taking VSP and was getting tired of being charged so much out of pocket year after year so I gave Paje Optometric a try based on the yelp reviews and I'm so glad I found them. There was a time my eye really got infected and I saw them out of my yearly routine and they were so professional and resolved my issue with a reasonable cost. This year I decided to make them my yearly eye checkup doctors and can't thank them enough (including their new resident) for their patience to understand my issue and how to correct it when previous optamologist could not understand it 100%. My previous optamologist had all the gadgets and fancy tools in the world yet he never took the time to be patient and understand my issue with my vision and would make his judgement based on what the machine told them. At Paje Optometric what they had was the professionalism to listen and underhand the issue first and have lenses onsite to try different options until the perfect one worked for me. If you have VSP or not give them a try and you will be as impressed as I was. read more

Dr. Atie is very nice and welcoming in her office and I'm glad she was there to do my eye exam. She takes the time to answer your questions and shows a lot of care in your eye health, while being encouraging in all of it. Ana who helps you at the end with finding your frame and the type of lens you want is very awesome. If you're reading this Ana, thank you for being so nice and patient with me. Long wait times... even with an appointment. I called 2 months in advance for an eye exam appointment, my appointment was at 2:15pm, so had to take time off work, which I had no problem in doing, but when I got to the office, the waiting room was filled with a bunch of people and the office staff had me waiting over an hour after my scheduled appointment. I'm a patient person, but having to wait over an hour for an eye exam with an appointment was just pushing it. read more

My experience here was excellent! For years I've just hopped from office to office whenever I needed my prescription updated as each office felt the same. The PAJE office was a totally different experience. I didn't merely feel like a number at the DMV. This is a family owned and operated office and I genuinely saw it in their approach to my care. They took the time to truly understand and assist my actual needs, even addressing an issue other optometrists had missed for years regarding an over correction of my prescription that had resulted in years of headaches and eye fatigue. My mom and I have been coming here for 5 plus years. I have no complains! Everything was great Dr. Atie is great! The girls in the front are nice and friendly! The glasses always were awesome! Unfortunately I lost my insurance and I will no longer have optometry coverage. So I signed up for care credit hoping they would accept it. To my luck they don't! Aww !!!
