Worst customer service from the staff at this office. Dr. Ramsey is very nice and friendly but his staff does not provide the same level of service. One of the male staff was disrespectful to my wife and walked away in the middle of the session. This behavior is unprofessional and not acceptable. I have been a loyal customer for the past 3+ years but not anymore. I'll take my business somewhere else where people are treated professionally and respectfully. I have been a patient of Dr. Ozaki for almost a decade now (with 3 years in between removed while I lived out of state) and can't even consider going anywhere else. The staff, especially lately, have been very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. The facility is very clean and organized, the wait time usually isn't too long- maybe running 10 mins late. Dr. Ozaki is very professional but also very personable. I get my glasses there as well because it's easier since it's a one-stop shop. I will say that all their glasses are high end so they are expensive, even with insurance. If you want a cheap set of glasses, I recommend taking your prescription elsewhere. But I doubt the staff and doctor would be as wonderful as here. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Satisfaction NOT Guaranteed here. FIrst I paid for premium lenses and they tried to pass off cheap imitations. Sent back - redone, Then the frames were found to be defective, Send back again, - replaced. Now the lenses went bad, I continue to have trouble with the new frames so I wanted a total redo with different frames. No way - your satisfaction is not guaranteed here. They are still under warranty too - its not like its been a long time!. If you get frames and lenses here plan on spending a great deal of time with them being repaired. It takes weeks each time they are repaired. They do not follow up - you need to bug them to get them back. The worst part is that they BLAME ME. They are never at fault. I have had glasses for 10 years and never had anything sent back for repair until now. My wife got glassed at the same time as me at this place. They have been repaired twice. Guess what - it is HER fault. Same with her - she has had glasses for 20 years and never had problems - but now she had lots of problems with the glasses and the staff. Yet is HER fault. One time I was there and another customer was arguing with the Staff about the same thing, It was HER fault! I talked to the insurance company and there is something funky going on with this business. They said I was getting insurance benefit when I was not. Do not count on getting advised as to the best way to maximize your insurance benefit here. Plan on them advising you towards products that maximize their profits! Plan to paying a lot for cheesy frames. Do not go here. I am finding someplace else. Beware. read more

I'm so bummed right now. I just received a new pair of glasses from Warby Parker (a company I personally think everyone who wears glasses should check out), and I needed an adjustment done to the frames. I went into Optometric Images since they're basically right across the street, and asked if I could get an adjustment done. I waited for a second, and an older gentleman came out to help me, and took my glasses back for an adjustment. He brought them out and I should've known then that something was wrong when the adjustment was completely off... but of course, I had to get them back into shape, so I let him take them back again. He brought my glasses back out and, surprisingly, they fit my head perfectly... no more slippage. BUT... when I put them on, I noticed that there was a huge smudge on them. When I went to wipe them off, I noticed that it was actually the coating that was heated too much resulting in a ruined lens. How someone who works at this place could not be careful with someones' lenses is beyond me. When I said that it was clearly because of the heat, and had him agree that they were perfectly fine when I came in, he stated that the "coating must have been defective". No, you ruined it. Ugh. Thankfully, I didn't have to raise hell because Warby Parker said they would replace the frames and lenses free of charge. But regardless, between this massive mess-up, and the poor selection of frames (that I checked out while I waited), I would have an extremely hard time recommending this place to anyone. Adjusting plastic frames isn't like adjusting wire frames where you can just bend them into shape... you need heat to mold them into shape, therefore you HAVE to take the lenses and their coating into consideration. When you neglect to do so, well... you ruin things. read more

Staff is the worst. So bummed, because I have been going to this place for 5 years, and it has been going down, down, down - ever since...kinda sad. I like to support local businesses, because many of them go the extra mile and simply care about their customers. NOT THIS PLACE. I just went to pick up my glasses, and phoned them to say I'd be a couple minutes late. They said there is an automatic alarm that goes off within minutes of the closing hours....lol...whatta bunch of horsesh*t....are you kidding? I know everybody wants to get home after a long day, but we're talking 5 minutes here...that's the best you've got? They close at 6pm and I was there at 6:04. I see them waddling down the hall as I'm knocking on the glass door...they heard me...but just kept on waddling. Ms. Fat Ass and Mr. Blue Hair - you know who you are. Nice. There are many, many places to get your lenses, frames, etc. Stay away from these losers and even if you get terrible customer service somewhere else, you'll still be miles ahead of what you'll receive from this hoard of creeps. Finally, their frames are - ahem - just a tad overpriced, too. I broke a pair of Ray-Ban frames a while back and figured out I could just pop in the lenses of the new frames. OI price? $140.00. Amazon? $75.00. Astro-glide, anyone? Hey, Dr. Ramsey...I've met you and you're a pretty good guy, but you've really gotta upgrade the help. read more

Can you say RIP OFF? Maui Jim lists them as one of their preferred RX dealers. I needed a new set of non-prescription lenses installed in my existing MJ frames. I called Maui Jim and they said it will be $60. I called optometric Images and they said it will be $396.00. Yes I went over the fact that the total glasses are only $299.00 brand new etc with the person, but they stuck to their price of $396.00 just for new lenses. I didn't ask, but I'd hate to see what they charge for the new sunglasses them selves.... read more

Do not give this place any business! Extremely rude customer service with the woman who I just got off the phone with. She was not friendly and did not want to listen to what I was trying to explain. I bought frames and lens from them back and March and was trying to make an eye appointment to replace the prescription and schedule a new eye exam. Dr. Ozaki is great. Laid back, but thorough and easy to talk to. Before Dr. Ozaki I wasn't loyal to any particular optometrist and would bounce around to different people. I have now found my one optometrist. Location is extremely convenient as well, which is a huge plus. It's in the Tassajara shopping center with Stacey's, Safeway, Blockbuster and Wells Fargo The staff isn't all that friendly, though. They could care less about you and it's obvious. Asking them to open a case for you to look at frames seems like a huge imposition on them. My first pair of frames did not fit my face well and I mentioned that to Dr. Ozaki on my last visit and told him I wanted to replace them. I overheard him in the back when he nicely asked his staff member to help me make sure I found a pair that fit well. It was obvious they ignored him. They could care less if they fit well. They didn't even check to make sure they fit on my face when I thought I found a pair I liked. I could have ordered a pair of glasses for a toddler and they probably wouldn't have blinked an eye. Their frames are a bit expensive and their lenses are outrageously priced. I bought my frames from them with my vision insurance and then took the glasses to Costco for the lenses and fitting - because even without insurance, the lenses and extra charge for a lens cutting fee at Costco were cheaper!! They do have a nice selection of frames, though - especially the higher end stuff... read more

I had to remember that this was NOT a FREE service...... my insurance and I both paid for this!!! I quickly reminded him that I was a customer and his actions should reflect that. I don't give this place 0 stars because I need to put one unfortunately. If you want go to an optometrist office that will make you feel DISRESPECTED, GET YELLED OUT AND WALK OUT CRYING please come here! The ladies at the front desk are HORRIBLE. I went in to do a frame selection and the lady that was helping me was COMPLETELY RUDE since I got there. I could tell she was over stressed since the doctor had mentioned they were short staffed (which I totally understand how frustrating can be) however - I want to point out that I was the ONLY customer at the office. Still, she was rushing me and rolling her eyes every time I said I didn't like the frames. I asked her if they had more designer frames and she yelled "we have over 600 frames here, how many more do you want!!" I was shocked to her response, how rude! Then, I told her that I didn't like frames that they had, so she rolled her eyes and walked away and yelled again, "ok then, bye!" She left me there standing all by myself! So disrespectful! I wanted to cry!Then I waited for her to come back to the front desk and told her that I understood that she was stressed for being short staffed. I told her that I worked at retail a few years ago as well and I know how hard that can be, but I also told her that my time as a patient is also valuable and I wanted to feel welcome (I took time from work to go select my frames) and she yelled at me "I DONT THINK YOU EVER WORKED AT RETAIL UNDER A PANDEMIC!!" She made me feel horrible. Does she even know what I do for living? How Im dealing and coping with the pandemic? What I go through at home? Like her job is more stressful than mine during these times?? I asked her why was she being so mean to me and suddenly the phone rang and she yelled at me saying "ARE YOU DONE? ARE YOU DONE?? I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO" and again she left me there talking by myself and continued with her phone call. She made me cry, she made me feel horrible! read more

Dr. Ozaki has been my optometrist for about 15 years now. I've followed him from a San Jose office, to a Pleasanton office, and now to his current Dublin office. If Dr. Ozaki moved to the other side of the country, I'd need to hop on a plane and take a 7-hour flight once a year. Yes, he's that good. I'm extremely near-sighted and have worn glasses and contacts for about 20 years (ack!) now; I've seen several other optometrists, and no one matches up to Dr. Ozaki. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and endearing. I never thought I would think of an optometrist as a friend, but that's how I see Dr. Ozaki. When he is conducting the eye exam, I feel that he is genuinely concerned about the well-being of my vision. He is never impatient with me as I read the eyechart (sometimes out of order!), or when I ask him to see lens A or B more than once (is A or B better...). He also always conducts a thorough dilation and examination. He answers all questions (no matter how silly) and even brings up issues that I may have not thought of. Because of my high prescription I am in danger of retinal detachment, he carefully described to me all of the symptoms to look for, and even provided retinal surgeon referrals for me in case of emergency. All this without me first asking. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Ozaki. His staff has definitely changed over the years, but I wouldn't care who works for him. I will continue to be a loyal patient. read more

I was walking around the Waterford Complex one day and saw that there was an Optometry there. I decided to go look at some glasses since I broke mine like 5 years ago. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and told them I was interested in looking at some frames. They were very attentive, and let me look at every single frame over and over again. They even left the cases open for me to browse freely. They even gave me their honest opinions on what they thought suited me. I ended up battling between a pair of Gucci frames and Bebe frames. I ended up choosing the Gucci ones. So, when I went to get my eye exam after picking my frames, Dr. Ramsey was so thorough. He even drew out on paper what was wrong with my eyes. I had a scratch on my eye from not removing my contacts out frequently enough. He explained to me how important it is to take them out and let your eyes rest, etc. So the other day I went back to get some colored contacts. They remembered me! They were so helpful and friendly. Veronica, was the girl helping me and she let me try on every single color. She was very very patient and friendly. She gave me her honest opinion on what colors suited me best and which ones looked silly on me. I ended up ordering the Caribbean Aqua dimensions. She said it would take 2 days to arrive. She called me the next afternoon and they were already there to be picked up! Talk about fast! I was so excited! She even gave me a pair of contacts to hold me over. I love this place, i will NEVER step foot into a pearl vision or eye masters, like all those chain stores again! I am very happy with this business and plan on giving them all my business.
