Run from this dentist. double charging me for 2 office visits just to write a prescription for restasis. I was diagnosed with dry eye years ago after lasik surgery. I've never been double charged. I told them this time it would be my last visit so they just charged me for the eye exam. If your going to be greedy don't expect the clientele to keep coming back. Wrote me my prescription in Nov 2015 at this office visit but due to the cost I hadn't filled it yet. Tried filling it last month and due to the cost of medication it has to have pre approval. Well now these money hungry greedy jerks won't fill out the form because of I didn't like their bad practices. Told me the doctor said I had to come back in 2 months. Wasn't told that, they are just being jerks and holding my prescription hostage, wanting more money. I have filed a complaint against this Dr with the Texas medical board as we as the Texas Optometrist board. read more

This was my first visit to the eye doc in who knows how long and it was pretty painless. You can schedule ahead on Zocdoc and also provide basic health info in advance so you don't have to fill it out in the waiting room. They also offer text message reminders for your visit. It's a nice office and all the staff were friendly and quick. The eye exam was nice and they explain each step and answered all my questions. I don't need glasses or contacts, yet, so I didn't veer over to the shop but it looked like they have a nice selection. I'll definitely be back again next year for my annual. read more

I've gone here twice - once for glasses and once for glasses and contacts. Their service is always spot-on and I have never felt rushed so they could move on to the next patient. The optometrist takes his time and makes sure you've chosen the right contact lens for your needs and lifestyle. Everyone at this office is very friendly. Their glasses are pretty expensive, but if you can shell out the cash they will definitely help you find exactly the right glasses for your face shape. I have been using Optique as my eye-care provider for several years and have always been pleased with the service they provide. I only go into their office once a year, but year after year, I always tend to go back. They have a wide selection affordable to high-end frames to chose from. I am particular about my frames and always go in knowing exactly which ones I want. If they dont have a particular frame, they will always order them for me and I get them within two days. I was referred to Optique by a friend. I saw Dr. Zeller. This was the first eye exam I've had in 5+ years. The staff was courteous and efficient. I really liked the fact that they were able to perform all of the tests needed without dilating my eyes. They were quick with the tests and with the exam. I was so nervous about the exam, but the staff was so friendly and Dr. Orm helped me feel at ease as he examined my eye and gave me the treatment. My long time optometrist sold his practice and when I went to schedule for a new contact prescription that's when I found out. Decided to try out optique because it was nearby. They scheduled me in quickly and I was able to see Dr Zellers the day after I called when I had availability. I was very pleased with the staff treatment and Dr Zellers. They even had contacts in stock to cover me until my order came in a week later. Pricing was also the same as 1800Contacts. I love my new sunglasses! I went into Optique hoping that they would help me with my choice, and that's exactly what happened. I was greeted by the friendly staff and asked a few questions about what I might like. The sales girl brought out several different recommendations. She was helpful and honest about which styles looked better on my face. We narrowed it down to a couple, and the other sales girls gave their advice as well. I can not thank the Eye Doctor and his staff enough for sqeezing me in when I had a serious eye medical crisis on Xmas day. I was not even a patient and they called me back the next day which was a Sat literally the day after after Xmas and told me to come in now and saw me immediately. They were the ONLY eye place to call me back the next day and I called 10 places. The Eye Doctor is excellent and did a very thorough exam and explained every aspect of my eye issue and he has seen me twice again in follow up visits. The staff is terrific and funny and very nice . I have been a loyal customer of this place for over 3 years, get my eye exams, glasses, contacts and sunglasses from there. I USED to live this place until the new manager Gonzalo took over. I too work in retail and understand that sometimes it gets busy but there's no excuse as to why it would take 4 months without to get a pair of sunglasses in without as so much as a call back with an update. I've had a house built in less time than that! Every time I call myself to get an update I get another excuse and the tone he uses as if I'm bothering him. If anyone in charge is reading this please do your business a favor and replace that guy with Daeanna. She has totally restored my faith in this place once again and I will continue to shop there as well as refer people but only to her. I am impressed with how Dr Orm and his optician Nanette handled my issue/complaint. I usually don't go back to places where I have had a bad experience nor I let myself to be lured into changing or updating my reviews with "free stuff". And, I don't think that's their style either. But, Nanette's concern, several calls and empathy convinced me to come back and try to get my situation fixed. She was outstanding in her customer service. She patiently sat with me to explain in detail how my sunglasses were to look like with one frame or another, she gave me her honest opinion, and even squeezed me into Dr Orm's schedule to get my prescription checked again. All and all she was a star! At the same time, Dr Orm was very courteous and kind. He's very experienced and did a great job correcting my prescription that the previous doctor -who is no longer there - had given me. I can't wait for my new glasses! I am thoroughly impressed with this practice! I called Monday as new patient, got an appointment today (Wednesday) and went in for what I thought was a routine check up. I was greeted promptly and seen within 5 minutes of being there. The front office staff was fast, polite, and personable. The young lady who did my pre exam testing was great as well. Dr. Orm saw me quickly and was thorough throughout my visit. He showed me the images of my eyes they took before my exam and talked to me at length about wearing glasses for nighttime driving. I had lasik almost 4 years ago so this was a little tough to swallow, but I am definitely satisfied with my experience. I tried on 8+ different frames and ordered my glasses within 15 minutes. I was told that it would take 7-10 business days to get them ready, but to my surprise they were ready in an hour and a half! The lady who helped me order my frames was knowledgable about my insurance and very professional. I could not have asked for a better experience! read more

I'm always super hesitant about trying new eye doctors and after searching on Yelp I decided to check this place out based on the reviews. Check in was super fast and they were very helpful on the phone when I was having trouble finding the location. Everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly! I LOVE that you no longer have to get your eyes dilated (if that tells you how long it's been since I've been to the eye doctor). Dr. Orm was quick, precise and do the point. Also very friendly! Turns out I needed two prescriptions and new glasses and the lady that helped me out (sorry I forgot her name) was extremely helpful! I've had to buy several pair of glasses and in most cases no one ever seems to want to help you out or give their honest opinion on how they look. She walked me through the cost and what insurance covered for each brand and we tried on several pair and she was quick to give me her opinion which helped tremendously! I looked all over town for an optical outlet that has one hour service, a wide range of upscale frames, and could work with me, the difficult customer with unusual request. Had Coach, Gucci, other high-end frames that I just can't find elsewhere. The price was better than I expected. I've used Lens Crafters and Eyemasters in the past, but Optique beats them hands down. The staff was great, the service was personalized, and the overall experience was a pleasure. This place is a keeper for me. Glad I found it--it was worth my thorough search. read more

Ok, I went to Lenscrafters at Northpark and was not impressed with price, selection, or service. I looked on line and found Glenn's and boy am I glad. Totally old school in all the right ways. Awesome service from Helen, who no exaggeration, had me try on 50 different styles of frame. Told me what she liked on me, and I could trust it, because she doesn't' work on commission. Got two pairs of glasses that I love for a little more than one pair was going to cost at Lenscrafters. They have been in that location 40 years and I will never go anywhere else. I just wished I found them twenty years ago. Seriously go there!!! read more

I am really disappointed. My husband had to repair a pair of buffalo horn RX glasses he purchased from this location. They sent the glasses off to repair and simply destroyed the arm attachment on the glasses. After noticing that the glasses were glued together with super glue and the arms were still stretched out of place. I suggested to return them for additional repair because the glasses were destroyed. Because they were unable to repair the glasses , they suggested that the glasses be sent to Europe for repair which would take 3 months. Grant it, the $900 glasses were his primary means of visual correction. They did not offer a supplement while the glasses were being repaired. So they offered him a completely different pair of glasses. The first pair was brown, the alternate pair was black. I am disappointed. They look exactly like his 2 year old Gucci glasses. I'm just disappointed, they could have offered a supplement pair while his primary pair was sent to Europe. Especially since their repair shop destroyed the original pair. read more
