    I have been going to Doctor Bill for years and it's easier for me to deal with a Doctor I already know. He knows my eyes too.

    I love this place! They have a huge selection of fun and hip glasses. They have some awesome sunglasses for selection with prescription too. And the associates are so helpful. I never knew that the temples (the part that sits on your ears) can be adjusted to sit on your ears better. Jessica helped to adjust the temples, hinges and screws on my glasses. I can't even explain how helpful the team members here are. What I think is super frustrating with any healthcare/insurance provider is cost you pay at the end, is always higher than you expect. The associates (Jessica was helping me today) here were extremely helpful in breaking down prices for me, when I made my payment - it was exactly the number I Anticipated. I bought in a pair of glasses with an outdated prescription. I had to get my prescription fax here and the process was super smooth. I dropped off my old frames and picked up the new frames in less than a week! When I went to pick up my glasses, it wasn't just a 'here are your glasses, bye' process. Jessica checked twice to make sure my glasses sat on my ears properly and wouldn't slide down my face! I also bought in my old pair of ray bans aviators (that had a chipped in the lenses). Jessica also changed the lenses for me with an extra fee! Also, they adjusted the nose pieces for me so it would sit on my face properly. I guess being Asian and having a lower nose bridge, sunglasses/glasses are always hard to find. I've had glasses/contacts for 8 years and I've never been to an eye-care provider that has been as helpful as uptown vision! HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING HERE! :)

    Had a great experience here! I was in need of a new optometrist and stumbled across Dr. Nguyen…read moreduring my research. The team was super friendly and helpful. They're also very punctual. I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

The experience was very positive. Everyone, from the receptionist to the advisor for frames to the doctor were super nice. Dr. McClennan was very thorough and spent a lot of time getting to know my eye needs. The eye exam was comprehensive and I felt good about it. After the exam, there is an extensive selection of frames. An advisor helped my pick one that met my needs. I was happy with the selection. The only downside about this business is accessibility. It is nearly impossible to access if you are going west on Mockingbird. There is no U-turn sign at the Greenville stoplight so you have to turn left on Greenville and hope to be able to squeeze in a left turn into the parking lot. Going east on Mockingbird is much easier, although parking is tight no matter which direction you are going. Overall, I would recommend this business.

I have vision coverage via my place of employment but wanted to know what my supplemental coverage covered and asked the front staff to look into this from the time I booked my appointment a week prior to the time I came into the office for our appointment. I received a text from them stating our visit was covered so I called to ask about the discount and they told me that our visit was covered. At this point I figured I would again ask them when I came in for our appointment in person. So today when we came in I asked them again and the front ladies stated that they didn't check it (even though I asked them too)! So I asked them if they could check it because my daughter in law wanted to come in as a new patient. At this point they said we do not take that and I pulled up the discount site and showed them where Dr Chapman was at the TOP of the list of providers that accepted it. Then they both just looked away and acted as if they didn't care one bit! It's sad because Dr Chapman is great but with staff like this who do not seem to care one bit he just lost a potential new patient and quite possibly my family of five...

That I wanted just a refraction for a new glasses prescription. They all knew this ahead of time, and showed they understood by telling me no matter how much of their services I received it would still be $75. Yet when I showed up they were somehow surprised, utterly confused, and didn't understand what I was talking about--like it was a perplexing concept and news to them. They were combative and pushy, and I had to struggle to assert and advocate for myself till I finally gave up because it just wasn't worth it. After the supposedly "mandatory" eye-puff part and the full eye exam without dilation (that was their only concession), Dr. Safir rushed me out of room when I had merely two questions. Apparently he had to meet someone more important (a consult?). If they hadn't forced the full exam and taken time with that, then maybe he could've addressed my two questions. Instead, he pawned me off on the front-desk. I don't want front-desk people answering my eye-related concerns. The whole experience was unnecessarily extremely unpleasant and unjustly made me feel like a problem client. Then they almost let me leave without my glasses prescription; I had to ask for it. I won't be going back.

Well I've been wanting to give my eyes a break so I decided to go ahead and look into buying glasses. Optical centers are usually overwhelming and it's always seemed like an all day process to pick and order glasses. Warby Parker has made this process so simple and quick. I picked out some frames, was measured and offered upgrades and was checked out in record time. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. Another option that I like is the fact that they will ship the glasses to you. No need for a trip back to pick them up. I was quoted about a 3 week turn around but I recall that time being much shorter when I ordered glasses for my son. If all goes well with wearing my new glasses, I might be back for a pair of cute sunglasses since I love wearing shades. I can't wait to get my glasses !!

I had an appointment scheduled for today, which I booked earlier this week. I proactively submitted my insurance information ahead of time, only to be told that my insurance was not accepted. Wanting to clarify, I contacted my insurance provider directly, and they confirmed that Warby Parker is indeed a recommended provider. When I called customer service back to resolve the issue, I was told that I would need to pay upfront and then submit for reimbursement because of a third-party arrangement. What was most frustrating is that the representative did not attempt to reprocess or review my insurance information--there was no effort to resolve the issue, only a push for me to pay out of pocket. Because of this lack of support and clarity, I canceled my appointment and rescheduled with another provider, who accepted the exact same insurance without any issue. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. As a returning customer, I expected better communication, more thorough assistance, and a willingness to help resolve the issue instead of defaulting to an out-of-pocket payment solution. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers don't have to go through the same experience.
