I went here for new glasses. The experience was uneven. I went in to ask if they do eye exams for new glasses and they said yes but were "completely booked" for the day. It was about 11am. They gave me some options for the following week which did not work for me, so I was just standing there thinking about what to do when the receptionist said "can you come today at 1pm?" I said sure, not questioning why the booked schedule had changed suddenly. I arrived at 1pm and no other customers were in line for an exam or anything else. In fact, during my whole time there I saw zero people there for an exam, so where the "full schedule" came from is a master to me. They tried to start off with an eye exam but their first machine broke or was not functioning. Luckily, I had recent paperwork from my other eye doctor that they could use, otherwise I was wasting my time and would have to come back another time. They accepted my paperwork so we were in business. After the exam was completed, I chose my frames--they have a decent selection with different price tiers--and Issac worked with me on the price. At the point of purchase I was told that they would text me when the glasses were ready. A week later, I had heard nothing so I called and was told the glasses had arrived. I went in the next day to get my new glasses. I am happy with them, they fit well and I can see clearly again. My wife and I used to have a good experience with them, but our most recent experience has left a bad taste. We had been coming to this eye doctor for many years, but a simple miscommunication (and lack of compromise) has left my wife and I indebted, dissatisfied, and without the glassware we expected. Amazing place! The doctor was very knowledgeable and quick. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I went in to get a perscription filled for eye glasses. I told the attendant what I was needing and we agreed on the items. My receipt says that I was getting Varilux Comfort 2-Poly-Transition * grey lenses in both eyes. When I put the glasses on and went out side, they did not transition to the darker shade that was most important to me. I called them at once and the same attendant told me that the sun was not shining enough that day. Art was a cloudy day so I thanked her. When the sun did appear two days later, I sat out in the sun directly for 10 minutes and the lenses did not transition. I took the glasses back and was told that I was not billed for the transition. A copy of my receipt says otherwise. The price was 385.00 per lens but my insurance paid all but 20.00 dollars each frame, so I was told at the time. I was then told that my insurance would not cover the cost of the transitions and that I could get them remade for an additional 160 dollars. The mistake and undercharge was their fault and I feel that I should have gotten the glasses requested for the quoted price. Even when I called back before the second visit, the person told me that yes the glasses should transition. I think this is bad business and even poorer customer service. I should receive what is on the receipt which I did not. Please be aware of this office. Not much else to say except that I am very disappointed with the outcome and never go near this dirty filthy place again. Glasses looked great but would be a lot better if they are what I ordered. I feel that it is up to them to make it right because they gave me the wrong quoted price. Stand by your quotes please. read more

Everyone at eye 2 eye is so sweet and caring. I needed a last minute eye exam and they squeezed me in. The gentleman at the front desk helped me fill out the paperwork (actually laminated paper, points for that) Dr. Greenstein answered all my questions and took her time and explained every step of the exam. So thankful for Eye 2 Eye! I was having severe eye pain and found out the optometrist I used to see was retired. I googled places nearby and they popped up. Front desk was so helpful and compassionate and were able to accept me as a walk in and I was seen within a few minutes. Dr. Greenstein was very knowledgeable and thorough, and empathetic to my pain. Discovered immediately what the problem was, and I am already feeling so much improved w/ the treatment prescribed! The way this place does business is ridiculous. They're so rude and disrespectful. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and I have never been treated or talked to the way I was at this location. The manager was demeaning and didn't want to give me my refund when I asked. read more

Okay, I will admit the issue may be petty in some people's minds, but I believe it's important to make a point of how financial greed overwhelms community 'goodwill.' Today, I brought in a pair of glasses that had a screw missing from the frames. Simple repair, right? Or, so I thought. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant as he asked if I was a client of theirs. I answered, no. He then informed me that, for non-clients, it would be $10 to insert a new screw in the glass frame. Now, $10 will not make or break anyone's account. This isn't the issue. It's how much better off is their business now that they gleaned $10 from me for a two-minute repair on a glass frame? Their reviews for their staff are fine. But, for a lousy $10, instead of gaining another customer, they lost myself, my family, and anyone else who I mention this lack of community 'good-will.' I have a good assurance that they don't get so many requests from outside their clientele base for a screw repair that their business suffers irreparably. I know this review will not change policy. But, it's good to know where not to go. And, yes, we all wear glasses. read more
