They ignore no solicitation signs and lie rather prolifically about neighbors using them and what kind of pests are found in your yard! Very high pressure/slimy tactics that try to pressure you into a service contract immediately. I did not give them my business after they insisted the spider my yard was poisonous. Spiders are not poisonous but some can be venomous. More importantly the spider was a chill house spider-- definitely not harmful! I've lived on my street for 33 years. There's no one named Jeffery. I've never seen this guy or his truck/van. He walked right past my no soliciting sign, and just started soliciting, I told him I didn't need anything and he just kept talking... He told me he services the whole neighborhood which again is another lie, then he said I'm surprised we've never met, and I said well I've lived here. 33 years how old are you and he said 22... A salesman from this business walked right past our doorbell and into a courtyard where my children were playing. Maybe he didn't see the doorbell, but aren't we past door-to-door salesmen in 2026? If I wanted pest control, I would most likely look on yelp to find the best in the area. I do not want you showing up at my home uninvited to tell me you'll kill all the perfectly harmless orb weaver spiders in my yard. Of course I expected him to do a good job as he did. When he treated my home and possessions like they were his own, he stepped up and went beyond my expectations. He was kind and explained the treatment wouldn't hurt my animals. But asked me to put the dog in another place while he sprayed that room. I loved that. I recommend Onyx highly. The representatives cold called. I was very stupid and the rep was very brash. He did not have a business license nor information on the chemicals except to say they were organic. At the end when they were finished the tech put the brush he had used up to my face. I have been very ill and debilitated since. A very bad throat and a rash and general malaise that has kept me in bed for six days. I am very healthy, do not get colds or flu, never had Covid, but this company is using something that is not good for humans. The owners, Preston and Whitten Dominguez called after I reported my condition. The receptionist, Tracy, was kind and cancelled my contract but not before they added the full price of $400 dollars to my card.
