It took the two them about an hour to move our belongings. They were mostly pre-packed however they wrapped the items that we honestly did not know how to handle which we were very happy with. 3 guys came. Two were awesome, well trained & skilled and professional. Had an issue with the third person. I called the company during the moving which was Sunday. Even though the office was officially closed, someone responded and resolved the issue very quickly and reasonably. I did even get to talk to the manager later that day for feedback. I was VERY impressed at the speed they work at and for the most part they did a great job! Used the Coupon and paid cash so that saved some money. The ONLY thing I can comment on in a negative way, was the fact that the crew spoke while working in Spanish. I did not let them know I speak and understand it as well. Nothing but my desk got damaged, They broke 2 handles ans chipped the paint in a new place. Translation was " Just go on...maybe she won't see it." I understand things happen when moving, but I really would have appreciated honesty. I gave a good tip to them...wish they would have tipped me on the damage! It was a really good experience, they sent over two movers who were really nice, fast and efficient. The team actually communicated with each other and got along well, which hasn't been my experience with past movers. They were very professional, and easy to work with. They made sure to point out any broken or damaged items before the move, so I knew it didn't happen during. Everything got to my new place in the same condition, and they were really careful to wrap up all breakable items in furniture pads. They originally quoted me $79/hr but after charging for moving supplies it ended up being about $88/hr. The charges for supplies were a little high, I doubt they used two entire rolls of saran wrap for the amount of stuff they moved, but their hourly still came out as less than other places I called. One really great thing is that they disassembled my bed and put it back together better than it was before. They really made sure to tighten all the screws, so my bed actually feels stronger now. I've used a couple of other moving services in the past few years, and this was the first I felt was good enough to get a yelp review. read more

So overall, we were very happy with these guys. They did everything exactly as promised, big truck, three professional guys in shirts, called before they showed up, were efficient and did not break anything. They took longer then we had expected and way longer than the person who booked the appointment estimated, so be careful not to expect close to how long they say it will take. This added expense was planned for but still expensive! The only thing that prevented me from giving them 5 stars was the final price after it was all said and done. However, I would use these guys again for sure. Both of our houses (moving from and to) had stairs and they were no problem, they dissembled/reassembled all the furniture and packed everything well (as in blankets, etc around fragile things, tvs, etc.). read more

Aidu and Nahuni were my crew who did an awesome job! I had the afternoon slot so I am sure they were tired from the day and I definitely had a tough move - starting from a modern building with elevator but a very long walk to the truck, and finishing in the hot afternoon in an old building with no AC and three flights of stairs to climb. They professionally wrapped all of my belongings, handled them with care and unloaded efficiently. My landlord recently painted so they had to be extra careful with the lobby and stairs but it all went off without a hitch. Aidu was a master city truck driver easily parking on both ends, and even helped me unpack and rollout a new rug before staging my bed. Mariela is an absolute dream to work with! She was so patient and cooperative and professional in dealing with the numerous delays and reschedules that I had to ask for when escrow wasn't closing. Leo and the crew did a great job in getting everything out of my third floor apartment and didn't even flinch when we thought the elevator had gone on the fritz (it hadn't thank goodness). My grandfather clock came through unscathed and when the pendulum didn't swing quite right, Leo returned the next night and leveled it out for us so it works just fine now. Since I was so late planing the move I had several concerns about things I hadn't thought about before (getting 'no-parking' signs,...) but Luke took the time to answer all my questions. These guys killed it. They were on time, wrapped my stuff up great, and moved me out and into a new appt fairly quickly. The building I moved into is a 3rd floor walkup and the movers busted their humps to get everything up there quickly. Really really happy with the movers and the company. Setting up the move was easy as well. The only thing I would criticize is they chargedme for $80 worth of packing materials. I would recommend packing yourself if you can or asking them to use less materials if you are trying to save a few bucks.
