There are a lot of reviews from before that show a hit or a miss for this salon. Now, in 2020, I can tell you that this place is great. They do a great job with dip and no chip. I haven't gotten acrylic nails from them but I can say that dip is my favorite from here. Also, if you want anything changed, fixed, or detailed, let them know! They will tailor your nail experience to whatever YOU want them to focus on. The staff is kind and really understanding what you want to get out of the experience. Kelly is a nail technician I keep coming back to. I tell her what I would like to see from my nail experience and she delivers it amazingly. The review from the past may seem contradictory to mine but through time they have upgraded the pedicure chairs, the paint, the flooring, and more. Overall, a nice place to get your nails done if you live in the area. read more

Honestly one of the worst nail salon experiences I've had, and I genuinely regret spending my money here. I actually went out of my way to give this place a chance. I originally called because I needed my nails done for a wedding. They didn't answer, but the owner called me back apologizing profusely. She sounded so upset that I genuinely felt bad for her, so I remembered the salon and decided I would come here the next time I needed my nails done. Huge mistake. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were uncomfortable and I had a bad feeling. I ignored it because I wanted to support a small business and give them a fair chance. I should've trusted my gut. The technique was simply bad. Yes, they massage your feet, but most decent salons do that. A foot massage doesn't make up for poorly done nails. My first nail chipped barely over a WEEK after getting them done. Now it's been about another week and the rest of my nails already feel weird and wonky. I've gotten my nails done plenty of times before and this is not how they normally feel after two weeks. Checkout made the experience even worse. There was no clearly displayed sign saying they only accept cash or Zelle. The only thing we saw said cash was preferred for TIPS, which is completely different. When we were confused, the husband angrily pointed to a paper off to the side that was barely noticeable. If you only accept certain payment methods, make that clear BEFORE providing the service instead of getting an attitude with customers afterward. Between the poor technique, my nail chipping barely over a week later, the rest already feeling off, the uncomfortable atmosphere, unclear payment policy, and attitude at checkout, I genuinely cannot recommend this place. I came here specifically because I felt bad for the owner and wanted to support her business. I seriously regret ignoring my gut. Save your money and go somewhere else. I definitely will be. I have tried basically every salon in the area and they are ALL 20 bucks cheaper BIBLE. Just go to Bo nails, lee nails, anything else. TRUST ME. read more

They take their time and they do a good job Tao & Sun.. the best couple ever. Sun gives the best leg rubs after you're doing your pedicure he could just sell leg rubs and people would just pay a lot of money for it. And Tao does such great nails she does fantastic gel nails I'm talking just that manicure with the gel polish never comes off never had to come off and I'm a nurse, and I wash my hands all the time but if you get the sculptures by her, she's very particular, and they will look fantastic when she's done! We love you guys, Amber ,Sky and Jax!!! read more

Do NOT go here. 3 of us got no-chip manicures & regular pedicures less than a week ago. The only person working was the owner who didn't know how to do no-chip without getting all over my cuticles so she took it off, lectured me that it was my fault & redid. We are a couple days into our vacation after pedicure and the picture shows how each of us have chipped or no nail polish remaining on our toes! Our no-chip finger nails haven't chipped yet but are already peeling up at bottom. Go elsewhere! We spent $250+ to enjoy for a couple days:( read more

See all

David was awesome until he started to OVERCHARGE me. i always have long nails. I was used to paying 85-100 a fill with gems. He decided my last set to charge me 150. i was told 5 dollars per nail for gems. he lied and charged me 10 dollar a nail. even when i bring my own gems he still over charged. DO not go to him. once he sees you will pay he will keep increasing the price with no explanation. to make things worse. i had to go back two times to get gems replaced. but i had at least 6 more gems come off. but i won't go back. charged 150 and my nails look like complete shit 10 days later. read more

Best pedicure I've had in a long time. Meticulous detail and very clean. Lovely couple own the shop.

Lisa is the best!!! Her work is better than anyone out there. I have been to many places and seen nails on other women and nothing compares to Lisa she's the best. read more

Close to home so stopped in and committed to a Mani/Pedi; as Procedure started I was skeptical about cleanliness of tools and in hind-sight should have walked out. First attempt at Procedure was horribly unprofessional by Kelly; paid and left. Returned home to look over the Procedure and went back next day to have the Procedure corrected; I showed, who I assumed was a Supervisor & Kelly; Kelly took me to her Station and was visibly upset while she attempted to fix the Procedure. Tools were not sanitized as she grabbed them from a drawer, her first Cuticle adjustment cut me and then roughly completed the remaining Cuticles. I know have Cuticle Inflammation/Fungus and what looks like a Paronychia Abscess. read more

Very clean & fast service but very detailed the couple work together & do a awesome job

I have tried this place a couple if times because it is so close to my house and i received a gift card for christmas, but im done wasting my money. I typically get a mani pedi, the pedi are good but they leave the nails just long enough to come back in a week but the polish does last. The mani forget it! The no chip did chip on two nails the same night!! Then they all broke and i have healthy nails that i have grown out forever! Do not spend your money here it is a waste!! read more

Only Nails - See here is my left hand - Nail Salons Near Me - Westmont, Illinois

I've been coming here with my mom since I was a kid (I'm in my twenties now). Their service is always good. The staff is kind and respectable. It changed hands in the last fives or so years but remains consistant. Every time I come in there's a new upgrade either to services offered or the building! I've recommended it to many people. read more

Not sure why anyone would go to any other place. The two ladies working there are not only super chill but go above and beyond to give you the value that you pay for. Not only that but the prices are very reasonable and if you are lucky enough to go there when they order food they will probably offer you some. I never really got my nails done before I went there but ever since I saw them bring out the full potential of my nails I have been a repeat customer. read more

My friend went to this nail salon and she said IT WAS HORRIBLE. She went there for a birthday party and wanted a manicure. The "host" said she could, BUT she was forced to get a pedicure. She got the color she didn't want, and the polish was nasty! Then they started giving her gems but she didn't want them. The person said "too bad!" And her nails were bad and there was nail polish all over her toes. My friend said she would not recommend this salon but spend your money at a better place. read more

Shame on this facility. They do not use packaged sanitized tools, nor do they sanitize their wash basins. Not only did my toe nails look streaky and messy, but I now have a fungal infection between my toes!! Do not get your nails done here. read more

The service is terrible. We had a booking for 12:45 for 2 people. There was only one person working who lied to us stating that another person would be available to accommodate the second person. That person ended up taking another customer. After an hour of waiting and complaining still nothing. End result was walking out without getting nails done. Will never come back. read more

They have a really pretty no chip color that I come here specifically for. The service is decent and my nails last about a week and a half which is really good for me. They do have a dog there which I love, being a dog person. read more

I love that they take their time to do a great job. When I have stayed out of town I use another nail salon and that salon cannot hold a candle to Only Nails. Only Nails is reasonably priced, they give great service, and they appreciate your business. (and the dog is friendly!) read more

I have been coming to Only Nails for 10 years! I love it. I've tried other places closer to home (since I moved through out that time) but no where else compairs. They have a large variety of services and nail colors available. They are quick but do a great job and don't personally rush anyone. They get to know you by name. I suggest asking for Lisa or Qwhen when coming. They (in my opinion) do the best work! If you're bringing a little girl they also have adorable hello kitty pedicure chairs! They DO have a dog (although he is the best mannered dog ever.. his name is Scrappy!) He's old now and for the most part just sleeps in his dog bed behind the counter and snores. He will walk around from time to time and if you reach to pet him he will come to you, but he won't jump up on you/bother anyone. Everyone is friendly, can be easily understood, and the prices are very very fair! I honestly can't go anywhere else.. they've spoiled me! read more

I've been here multiple times and the staff has always been friendly. I usually take my 4 year old niece with me to get a manicure and pedicure, and she just loves their pink Hello Kitty chairs! She enjoys it, and their work lasts longer than anywhere else I've been to. By far, this is my favorite place to get my nails done.. read more

I really like this place. I think they do such a great job. They take their time to make sure everything is right. I found this place when some friends and I went there for nails and pedi for her wedding and have not gone anywhere else since. I usually have Lisa or Hannah do my nails and they are both very nice and do a great job. Would recommend this place and will continue to go back. read more

clean and beautiful work for the most part. but sothey have cut me pretty badly a couple of times while removing outgrown cuticles and i bled :( read more

Yikes. Steer clear of this ridiculous excuse for a business. The "salon" is questionable at best when it comes to cleanliness and the woman who did my nails was beyond rude. I went in with a group of girlfriends for a nice treat to kick off an early weekend. We were essentially rushed out the door even though there was NO ONE waiting. To the point where the lady (only 15 minutes after we finished in the pedicure tubs), came over and started ripping out our toe separators at the dryers and telling us we were all done. I understand there is a language barrier, but common courtesy for people who just came in and gave you over $100 worth of business during off (read: not busy) hours should not be negotiable. To those who might argue that you get what you pay for...umm....no. My nails look worse than what I could do at home. I look forward to my first pedicure of the season to get a fresh start for spring...honestly, there are smudges everywhere and there is purple nail polish everywhere. The only positive part of this experience was the cute dog that greeted us at the door. As a person who worked in the service industry for 6 years, it takes A LOT for me to criticize others who work in this field. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place should not be in business. read more
