This was my first time visiting Fantastic nails and I was so amazed by the work. I called a day before to make an appointment and was able to book the day/time/services I wanted. When I arrived, I was greeted and instantly seen after my colors were picked. Throughout the appointment I noticed a few people tried to come in as walk-ins but they were unable to accommodate them due to every employee having a client and trying to make sure all appointments were seen on time. So maybe call ahead and see if there's availability if you are thinking about walking in because summer months can be so busy at random times. (As someone who makes appointments and also sometimes is a walk in, I appreciate that they didn't try to overbook so it wouldn't overlap with appointments. The overall salon is pretty and relaxing. The music isn't loud and they have tvs playing on mute so you can watch something too. The overall vibe was very good. I wish I got the name of the employee who did my nails because she did such an amazing job. She had amazing attention to detail and was so meticulous. She also made sure I liked my nails throughout the steps like shape and color. I'm extremely happy with how my nails turned out and hope I can return in the future because these are genuinely my favorite nails I've ever had done. The prices are very reasonable and all the other employees seemed very nice as well. I truly had a great experience and would recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

I go to fantastic nails often. And usually the work they do is amazing. But this time I am highly disappointed. I asked for. Short acrylic nail hombre. The guy said that they would be short in the end because I like them very short. But they aren't short they are not even all the same length. And in top of that I paid $60 for them. I understand that I was there till past close but that's not my fault they made me wait for a bit. Which I had no problem with doing. I am not a picky person by any means but when I am paying a decent amount of money for my nails and they are crooked and not even all the same length I get a little upset. Picture will be below . The ring finger is also the length I wanted. Update Just talked to someone this morning and because I have a small child and don't have time to get my nails fixed they offered to take some money off the next time I come in. I declined to try this place out since my last pedicure did go so well. I spend most info my time at work on my feet so it's important for me to get a good scrub down on my feet every now and then. Needless to say I was not disappointed!! They customer service was great, they were very nice and made sure I was comfortable. And they actually took time focusing on my rougher spots to make sure my feet were soft. It was very reasonably priced, even with me adding no-chip on top. I had an appointment for two people at 3:30. My friend got her nails done first and she waited about 20 minutes. While she was getting her nails done, people were coming in after us and getting their nails done before me. I thought if I had an appointment at 3:30 I would be next to go but I guess not. I ended up having to wait AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET MY NAILS DONE. While I was getting my nails done, they had to restart two nails because they messed them up. They tried getting away with not telling me about one but I made sure they fixed it. They gave my friend a discount for waiting 20 minutes but couldn't give me one for waiting an hour and a half. Shhhhhh . . .Don't tell my regular nail place that I found Fantastic Nails. It's kind of like cheating on your boyfriend. Fantastic Nails is just what the name promises- FANTASTIC!! I stopped in for a nail repair the other day (had an important funtion to get to!) and they got me in and out in minutes which was no small feat given my regular nail place had no availability. Located in a strip mall, Fantastic Nails has been open for about a year and it is clean, efficient, inexpensive and FAST! They take walk ins as well as appointments- but you may want to call ahead as it was hopping during lunch when I was there. They have a great range of polish colors (all my OPI favs and well as plenty of no chip colors), and the staff is really friendly- they even give you a small bottle of water upon entering. Prices are right, there is plenty of free parking (well it is the 'burbs, ya know!) and my nails look great! FANTASTIC pretty much says it all! read more

I was encouraged by all the positive reviews of this salon, but was disappointed with the service and the quality of the manicure I received. I went in to get a no-chip manicure 8 days ago, and the manicure is already chipping on the sides. During the manicure, I noticed that the nail technician placed 2-3 coats of clear on my nail before even placing the color. I asked about the unevenness, but he said it would look fine. I then received the 2 coats of color, with an additional coat for the nail front (after the color was placed already on the nail) Finally, I has 1-2 coats of clear polish placed over my nails. My nails look thick and lumpy, especially as the nail grows out and the difference between the polish an nail bed shows. I also asked my technician to avoid massaging my right thumb, because of an injury. He completely disregarded/forgot the request, and pulled hard on my injured finger. Lastly, when removing the cuticles, several of my nail folds bled as a result of aggressive pulling. This normally wouldn't be a huge deal since I have very dry hands, but almost half my nails were bleeding by the end, which isn't normal. The place gets points for being very clean. But otherwise, there wasn't much to recommend. I will not be returning. read more

Went here for the first time recently and got a no chip manicure and regular polish pedicure. It was a Sunday at 1130 so it was packed. My sister and I had made appointments because when we tried to drop in that Friday we discovered it was Homecoming (read - gaggles of teenage girls - we wanted to come back another day). We were a few minutes late for our appointments, but we still didn't need to wait. Unfortunately I cannot recall the names of the manicurist and pedicurist, but they were great - worked quickly without making it feel like they were rushing through it. Very pleasant staff. Everything was so clean. Saw that the staff cleaned pedicure tubs, etc immediately (great sign). My no chip manicure looks great after 15 days. Bear in mind: 15 days of hand washing dishes due to ongoing kitchen remodeling. I chose a light color - which helps - but you know they do a great job when they look this good still. My sister has been there multiple times and loves it. Never heard of a disappointing experience. She goes with 1-2 of her friends usually. Highly recommend. read more

I really love using Yelp to find great reviews and try out different nail salons. Fantastic Nails has to be the best by far. I just walked in and the staff was very nice. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I went in for a pedicure and a fill in plus no chip. I have asked a few questions before I have picked out my colors. How much for the fill in - no chip color? Kevin was very helpful. First off the color palette for the no chip....AMAZING!!! I have never seen so many colors. (I felt like I was in Heaven, LOL) I asked if I was able to bring all these colors with me before I sat down on the massage chair. also....AMAZING!!! and they were fine with it. I couldn't figure out how to work the remote for the massage chair, a one of the staff (female) started the chair up for me and pressed a button to push it back for me. Another staff member (female) asked me how I was. Very NICE. :) I did have to wait a bit, but it was worth it, sitting in a WONDERFUL massage chair. Kevin (one of the staff) came by and introduced himself and gave me a small bottle of water. So COOL! :) He was nice and he took well care of my feet. I just went with a basic and I felt like I got more than just a basic. Not bad. The massage and the care for my feel was just wonderful it self. He made small chat which was nice too. My toes came out nice. He then guided me to Alex. Alex was going to do my fill in with a no chip color. I also picked out a design as well. It was just $3 for two nails. It turned out wonderful. Alex did a nice job on my nails. He made sure that my nails were all even and looked the same. I would definitely go back to this place. :) There is a nice staff, lots of colors for no chip, nice selection of nail polish on the wall. This place is amazing!! I went for a pink and white fill after a previous nail place ruined my nails. They took me at 5:15 even though they were closing at 6pm and took the time to offer a new look of ombre pink and white. Kevin took his time to do one of my nails so I could see and decide. It looked amazing and he had my nails done, done a hand and arm massage and cleaned my hands with a hot towel in 45 minutes. Definitely found a new nail place!! read more

First time visiting this salon. Walk-in. About a 10 minute wait and now I know why. They thrive on quality! Very clean. I was extremely impressed that they have individually wrapped surgical steel utensils i.e. Clippers and cuticle trimmers. I had a soak off of my previous (and totally outgrown) gel extensions with white tips. My technician, Kevin, was amazing. Hands down, will request always for my nails. Convinced me that dip powder was the way to go and much healthier for my nail beds. I wish I took a before pic to show you all the work he did. After everything he had done it was about $40 without tip. Very helpful and polite staff. Quality job and they take their time. I live technicians who are passionate about what they do instead of filling seats and doing a poor job. My daughter had also used this salon for her dance for school that was almost 3 weeks ago and they STILL look fantastic. Please, please consider going here. I asked to see just the no chip color bottle because the color never comes out like it is on the fake nail that they present and they got so frustrated and told me to go somewhere else to get my nails done. My feet have been swollen for a while after getting this type of pedicure done my feet feel so smooth, relaxing and not swollen. I will return to this location.
