The service was good, I went on a random morning and it wasn't too crowded...till about 15 min later and then they were packed!!! Lilly did my mani pedi. She was good but rushed, my friend was sitting next to me also getting a pedi and you could tell the difference between mine and hers. I got the sugar scrub pedicure and I was surprised that it actually lasted this long (it's 2 weeks later) the mani is still in tact as well. My nails are fairly difficult to do gel with tips and Kelly is patient and takes her time to make my nails look great, consistently! You can tell the business itself is under good management by the woman at the front - she is always quick to seat people and steps in herself if needed. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Very disappointing experience. The technician drilled far too aggressively, down into the base of my cuticles and even into my skin, causing bleeding and likely permanent ridges as my nails grow out. My nails were strong and healthy before this visit, and they're now damaged and painful. It's extremely concerning that someone this inexperienced is performing nail services. I would strongly advise others to go elsewhere. Hard to tell in pics but down by my cuticles there are pink lines because they went so far down. I didn't even let them paint them cause I was so horrified and my one finger that he drilled into and broke the nail hurt so bad. Incredibly frustrating and annoying. read more

If I could give lower than 1 star I would. I asked for acrylic full set toenails multiple times before the service even started. Tyler started on my toes and instead started to give me gel polish on my toes. I told him that's not what I wanted so he buffed the color off my toes went and got a manager, she asked me what I wanted I repeated again acrylic full set toes no chip, she said okay. Then They got the girl that sits right by the front door, the first desk you see (I didn't get her name) and she started to do my toes but just started layering acrylic powder on my toes. She asked me if I was satisfied with the one toe and I said the color is what I asked for but this is not the service I wanted. She said "ay ya yay" and took the acrylic off my toes THEN started adding the nail tips to my toes and give me the service I wanted n then Kai started layering the acrylic in my nails and then again it went back to Tyler to finish the design. If this is a service that is on THEIR SERVICE MENU what is the issue ???The whole time Tyler and that girl were OBVIOUSLY talking sh** about what was going on mind you I said if you guys can't do what I ask I can pay for the basic pedicure service I already received and go elsewhere, Kai said it was not necessary. I was uncomfortable the whole time but I can't accuse them of talking ish because I can't prove it when I don't speak their language even tho it was pretty obvious. Workers kept hovering around me looking at my toes talking in their language and all laughing amongst one another. I had to pay $193!!! For SHORT acrylic French tip and full set acrylic toes. I gave this location a try last week and although my nails look great, I was overcharged and there is nothing I can do about it. Posting this as a warning to make sure you are FAIRLY charged for your services. I went with a friend and we both got dip manicures (neither were any sort of "special" dip) and I paid cash and was charged $55 and not provided a receipt. My friend used a gift card and was charged $50. We didn't realize this until we were long gone or I would have said something. Another Magic Nails I won't be going back to but figured I may as well post my experience in hopes no one else is paying more than they are supposed to. I had a pedicure today that injured both of my big toe nail beds. 40% of the nail was cut on each toe, substantially exposing the nail beds. This happened at Magic Nails in Willowbrook IL at Plainfield and Rte 83. I was told they're not bleeding, go home and put antibiotics on it. read more

This was my 2nd time, 2 and Location of my getting my nails done. This location was cool. It offered hot tea and water when you sat down. I think I have a bias though. What bias you ask? I think I would rather women do my nails. I find FOR ME they pay attention differently than men. I didnt have any problems persay with the gentleman (Leo is his name) that did my nails. Wasn't much conversation and my nails turned out fine. THINNER application than my last manicure( I payed extra for "dipped nails")And I didnt like how that my nails were not all filed even. Furthermore my cuticles didnt get much attention. Meh. I had such a good experience at the Naperville location...Being it's the same company- I thought the Willowbrook location would have the same quality of service. Welp. I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere was amazing and staff friendly. I cam subday to get a fill in, no chip on my nails and I let them talk me into getting a no chip pedicure. Total I spent 111.00 with tip, Monday I was typing and noticed my thumb chiping, I called and and Tue my nail was fixed. This evening while soaking in the tub the polish that is supposed to be no chip began to bubble and peel; I don't know if it's just the color I chose was bad or their lights are not properly curing the polish. I'm so sad that I spent all this money just to have to go to another shop and get my nails done over, as much as I want to call them for a second time I feel that it will just be a waste of my time. Then the nail lady used my own dirty napkin from by my purse to wipe off nail polish remover from my nails, and used a towel with someone else's nail and skin bits on it for me to put my feet on. This place used to do a good job before all the new people started working here, who don't care about attention to detail, and the older people left. I wasn't going to review but.. both my feet are cut & now hurt. & that's not the only thing that happened. Pedi- Bottom of one foot was cut and I bled, they did get me neosporin & a bandaid but then a few Minutes later I realized my other foot was burning because I had tiny cuts on the side of that foot. Mani- I asked for a specific very simple design & asked if it could be done with dip. I was told yes, then I get told by the actual man about to do my nails that no one knows the exact color of full nail, it can't be done with dip, (insert every other excuse here) etc etc so I was forced to last minute pick a solid basic color that could actually be done by him. Mani Dip looks overall nice, but definitely did NOT walk out with the nails I wanted & my nails were filed too thin & they hurt over night because of this. I have been going to this location for years and loved a man named Alex's work. Not sure if he's still there, but these last people I dealt with unfortunately convinced me not to go back in. I've never been cut so much before & well if they can't do the very simple design I requested it's time to look for another salon.
