Another fab experience at Phoenix Nail Salon. Amazing pedicure and dip powder nail. Very relaxing!! Happy to see salon taking Covid precautions: all technicians wearing masks the correct way covering nose & mouth; Upon walking into salon, all customers asked to wash hands prior to any services; Plexi glass between customer and technician for mani or pedi; Technicians Lysol chairs between customers; tub for pedi also has plastic liner which is tossed after each customer but also refreshing to see them scrub tub after liner is disposed. Technicians wear latex gloves. Peter was awesome (not pictured). He took his time with pedi and dip powder mani. Loved the pamper today ! Will def be back to see him! There was a couple minutes of wait but this is okay. I'd rather wait and know this place has many customers than an empty nail salon. It does not look any fancy, by all means, but do not let that place deter you. At the initial step, you might smell some chemical/incense smell. Your nose will adjust to it. There are a couple chairs near the entrance that one can sit on to wait for their turn. They have a variety of colors to choose from- regular, no-chip, or dip. Choose to your liking. The nail technician was nice and thorough. I had little grooves on my nail from a previous dip manicure at another salon. He made sure my nails look smooth for a flawless no-chip. Thank you so much!! They give you a punch card to note every time you get your nail done. They prefer cash but accept credit cards. There is a big parking lot across from it that offers 4hr free parking. They did a fantastic job! The look from the outside made me a little reluctant to make an appointment, but I'm sure glad I didn't judge a book by its cover! Everyone is so friendly and they did a great job on my daughter and my nails. She even got cute little flowers on her toes and I wasn't charged for them. Even if I was it was totally worth it because they did such a great job. I got a no chip manicure and it looks great. So happy to find a great nail salon and it being so close to home too!! I've had the same technician the past couple times ( I need to get her name) and she is so nice, friendly, and we had such a good conversation today. Their prices are unbeatable and the service is always top notch no matter what technician you get. They have a large selection of colors and will go above and beyond to find or match one for you. Phoenix is my favorite place to go for my nails these days! Their employees are outstanding, with Peter being my favorite! He takes great care of each customer, which is much appreciated. Peter always ensures that your nails are perfect before you leave - cleaning up your cuticles and edges if any powder/paint gets on the side. I usually opt for a basic pedicure and dip manicure. Thank goodness for Yelpers Reviews. This place wasn't that bad. A little more pricey than what I pay around my house. I gave it a shot and started off with the Tropical Pedicure that was $33. A little bit over my price range, but I wanted to try the hot wax. Never had that done before. It was actually not that bad. The hot wax made my feet feel fresh & amazing. Then the oils on my legs and then on my feet. The chair was comfortable. I wore a skirt today & I had to hold it together so I wasn't flashing anyone. Other places I have been to, they give you a towel to put on your lap. It's okay. Next, the same girl who did my toes, worked on my no chip/fill in. She did a real nice job. The color came out very shiny and looks amazing. She only did 2 coats of the no chip and trimmed my nails down. For $26 I am happy with my nails. I hope this color lasts more than my last color did. This was my first time here and I do plan on coming back. The staff was nice and the place was neat & clean. There was a fresh smell of burning incense, but it wasn't a bad smell and it didn't last long. read more

My daughter and I have now been here twice and both times we got the traditional pedicure. It was relaxing and very well done. Tons of colors to choose from. Like many reviewers have said, don't judge this salon by the exterior--its not a pretty strip mall. The salon burns incense so it doesn't smell of chemicals like some salons. The employees do a good job and the price is great for no chip. I've been to several salons in the Willowbrook surrounding area and many charge $40; those who charge lass don't do a great job. Here they even offer complimentary hot wax for your hands. Four stars because the utensils did not come out of a sanitation pouch (I will bring my own next time) and because of the clutter in the salon. read more
