They don't have a lot of dip colors compared to other places but it's definitely a place to go to! Real close right by the Westmont train station too. I was a walk in just before 6pm (they close at 7) and they took me, however they were rushing quite a bit towards the end. The person I had wasn't very talkative but I was happy he was able to fix the shape of my nails. I would come back, you get a punch card as well. read more

The family who owns the shop have been doing my nails since 2006. I go to them because they are the best and I've never had any issues with my nails. The mani and pedis are very reasonable and the no chip lasts at least a month. Try the tropical pedicure which is awesome! Besides the great job they do on your nails, they are all very friendly. I never give reviews but this was a terrible experience for me. I wanted an acrylic full set and after my nails were prepped, she didn't push back or trim my cuticles before taking her powder out. I asked her if she could please push back and trim my cuticles because I am in a wedding and didn't want my nails to look already grown out, and she told me she had already "shaved all my cuticle off" with her electric filer so there was no need for her to push them back. ?? Okay. She then left me sitting there and went to wax someone's eyebrows so I sat there for 15 minutes. She came back and started working on my nails again and I had to ask her three separate times to please fix the shape because they didn't look like the picture I had shown her. Every time she went back to file them, she was rushing and I didn't feel like she cared about making them look nice. Several of my nails are crooked and have a rounded shape rather than the slim shape I asked for. I then had my go sit down for my pedicure because someone else walked in who wanted a manicure. I ended up pushing down my cuticles anyway while I was getting my toes done, and when I went back to her when I was done with my toes, I asked her if she could fix the cuticle area and cut them so they didn't look so bad. She said she couldn't so I just sat there and let her finish the color. When I was done I had to ask someone else to fix the cuticles and he took a cuticle trimmer and cut them but because the polish was already on, it didn't do much. He only did the sides. I didn't get cuticle oil to moisturize them. No lotion on my hands or anything. I am REALLY unhappy with my nails and have no time to fix them before the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Do not be fooled by the crumbly, strip-mall outside of this joint. It is the best nail salon I have ever found in the suburbs! It's clean, it's comfortable, and the staff is super talented. They have a TON of colors for no chip manicures, and that can be hard to come by. My last no chip lasted almost four weeks, and the pedi lasted almost seven weeks. The nail beds had grown out before the tips chipped. Prices are reasonable, and they have frequent visitor punch cards. Treat yo self and go here- you won't be sorry! read more

I'm home for the holidays and decided to try a new nail salon. This place being in downtown Westmont was a plus. There's ample parking right across the street. The staff was very friendly, the guy who did my manicure told me they've been under new management for close to 3 months now. Like another reviewer mentioned, they're still doing 20% off their services right now for their grand opening. So I got a regular manicure for only $10 + tip! It was definitely worth it with the 20% off. He also offered a no chip manicure to me for about $25-$28 but I declined for today. A mani-pedi together is also about $35, just for reference. 1 star deduction: Could have been a little bit more careful when trimming my nails, pieces of my nails kind of went flying everywhere. Not a big deal though. Also, a majority of their selection is OPI, there was some Essie but I think they could definitely have a much larger variety. read more

Found my new nail salon! Very good experience here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am so glad I found this place after having 2 bad experiences at T Nails in Downers Grove (they actually took the time to mark the color wheels for the colors that are/are not mood colors...take a note of this T Nails!!!!!!). They even give you a free paraffin wrap! A few more bucks than I usually pay but it is well worth it. Give them a try. They do welcome walk-ins but they get busy very fast so I suggest making an appointment. read more

Went in for 2 pedicures and was not disappointed! There was no wait when we got there and were helped right away. They were taking extra cleaning precautions since COVID which we didn't mind following. The tech did a great job with ingrown nails and making them look really nice before putting polish on and the results turned out great! Very reasonably priced and will definitely be my regular spot. Thought I would give this a try as it had good reviews. The chemical smell was overwhelming apparently due to several no chip manis in process. The service was so so. My pedi had a gouge in one of my big toes and rather than take the polish of f on that toe the girl kept trying to blend it in. When I asked her to fix it by doing that toe over she reluctantly did so than refused to come over once everything was dry and put the finishing stuff on. I finally had to ask someone else to do it. This is by far the best place for a pedicure. They are attentive to my diabetic foot situation and are very careful not to nick my toes. The calf massage is superb. There are no exposed edges to the pedicure and therefore no chips! I have been going to this salon for as long as they have been in business. This includes my daughters and grand daughters. Have tried others (as we have moved 30 miles away) but no other nail salon has compared to them and I will make the trip. Price is right too. This place had good reviews and I thought about coming here and see if they actually live up to their reviews. And I can honestly say I am really pleased with my nails. I moved here 2 years ago to westmont. I am very picky with my nails, however i have NEVER had a better experience than this salon. They make you feel like family and are open on Sundays.. which is FANTASTIC!! I asked for them to get the Chrome and holographic nail colors and they did!! Just came back from getting a pedicure here. It was ok. The good points are that this place is cheap and they give you a fantastic foot and leg massage. The negative point is that I'm not happy with the look of my pedicure. My nails were cut too short, they are uneven and there is a spot on my nail that is missing polish. It also took a long time, I was there for an hour and a half. I got there early and while I was there, several people came in and were waiting. I don't know that I would come back and I definitely wouldn't wait. If you are looking for a low cost pedicure, this may be a good place as many other places in the area charge more. read more

I have been here a few times and have always loved the result. However, the service is not too great. I went there recently for a pedicure and no chip manicure, but one of the ladies told me my nails were too short to have a no chip manicure and tried to push this thing called a "pink and white" manicure. I still don't exactly know what it is, except it was more than $25 over the no chip mani and full set mani. I opted for the full set french manicure and it was gorgeous! This wasn't the first time they tried to tell me I couldn't get one service and needed another. I will continue to go back, but I will be very selective as to who does my nails. read more

I will never go back there again! I have had it with not being treated as a person or a human being!! They are always ruff with me,always pulling off nails and replacing them even after having a new set put on just to charge me more!! The husband is especially rude to me always talking in their language and laughing as he is pulling off my nails. I have also had them make my fingers bleed and they complain about my skin!! It was a super hot and sticky Wednesday. I was looking for an affordable nail place close to work to get a summer pedi. I googled a design that matches my wedding colors and jumped on Yelp to see what nail salons I could find in a 3 mile radius. I called two salons to see if they had time to do a quickie pedi on my lunch break and out of both options, Phoenix's staff communicated the most coherently. I chose right because they are fast, simple and accommodating. If you like chit chat, then this is not the nail salon for you. If you like being asked if you need your eyebrows waxed or other upsell salon opps, then this is not the place for you. They keep it simple and are willing to work with you. Their pedi stations have messaging chairs and they have a good selection of nail colors and quality. All in all, I paid $35 for a custom pedi design + tip. They also gave me a punch card.
