We had dinner at a rooftop bar restaurant on Sunday and it was really nice. The views of the city skyline were beautiful, especially at sunset at the terrace. The food was good and service was friendly and fast. The place had a fun, relaxed vibe without being too loud. Perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends.

Such a gorgeous rooftop space. They have great service also, I was so happy to see mocktails on the menu. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the evening ambiance!

The host here is amazing and luckily was able to squeeze us in without a reservation! We stayed at this hotel so it was very convenient getting to eat here and check it out. You have to take the elevator to the very top of the hotel to get here. They have the restaurant itself on one side and an outdoor area on the other. We grabbed a drink at the bar and were seated afterwards. We just had dinner and drinks and everything was pretty good. My scallops were slightly overcooked but overall really good and my husband enjoyed his steak. The service was pretty slow and inattentive. A good option for enjoying great views though!

One40 is a rooftop restaurant above the Club Quarters hotel and we went for Sunday brunch. We had a reservation, but it didn't seem to be needed. Possibly because it was a rainy day. Even though the weather wasn't the best, the surrounding glass windows provided great light and views of One World Trade & lower Manhattan. Probably really nice at night as well. The Parisienne toast was the highlight for me. A French toast stuffed with ricotta, Nutella, banana and maybe something else. Top it off with a strawberry reduction. Very tasty, but would have liked to have 2 slices. They also have an outdoor section which was closed due to the rain. Might be a nice place for drinks in the future.

Returned to One40 Rooftop for a nice brunch. Had the Two Organic Eggs, Smoked Scottish Salmon Tartine and the Hot and Sweet Crispy Chicken Sandwich - all solid. Our server Brandon and the rest of the staff were terrific. It was a nice sunny day, so also great views of downtown from the restaurant.

Had the pleasure of finally trying One40 Rooftop and I was throughly satisfied with my experience. My other party member arrived late so they allowed me to sit and wait at the bar, served me accordingly, the drink was absolutely delicious and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend coming here.

Had a team dinner hear and was seated in the patio area overlooking the city. The view is amazing. The cocktails were great especially my old fashion. The burrata and oysters were our appetizer and both were good, but nothing special. I had the daily special which was lobster risotto and was very good. Our waiter was great in the beginning but fell off at the end. It if wasn't for being assigned to this restaurant by my company, I would definitely have gone somewhere else.

After the 911 Museum took all the emotions I had (and I don't have very many), I needed to fuel. I walked over to this rooftop, hoping it would be stellar views. It's more like a peekaboo between a bunch of buildings around it. Not great but tolerable. I loved their take on a tofu salad. Apples and walnuts; it was like I was eating a bag of kettle chips, but make it healthy. I love a great crunchy salad. If you're in the area, solid lunch choice.

Great view. Mid food. No coffee menu for breakfast. Servers seemed bothered to be there so early. Heaters weren't on in the enclosed outdoor space for opening. You can get better food across the street at George's, Half Moon, Wogies.

Came here for dinner on vacation, short walk from Battery Park. The rooftop vibes are great, the restaurant looked really good. Service was pretty slow, like previous reviews mentioned. We had to flag someone down for the check after our server disappeared for 20+ minutes. The best dish was the duck breast, nice and moist and flavorful. My friend felt the Wagyu wasn't worth the price, but still decent. My other friend enjoyed the salmon fillet, no complaints. The seafood linguine was okay, the pasta was well cooked and the tomato sauce was subtle. The mussels were a little iffy but alright in the end.

FiDi's newest rooftop bar/restaurant really surprised me - oftentimes these places have great vibes but the food/drink is lacking...not the case here! The vibes are great, as you can expect. The menu truly has a great variety and I was pleased with the amount of vegetarian options offered. To drink, I had the Lumen (minus the absinthe spray lol) and it was very tasty (think a STRONG mojito). To eat, I tried the following: -Burrata: delicious and the pesto was fabulous -Eggplant: loved the balsamic flavor, not my favorite item of the evening but still tasty -Fettuccine: surprisingly 10/10! Pasta can be a hit or miss, but this dish had so much flavor. A great vegetarian entree. -Roasted Carrots: my favorite item of the evening, the rainbow carrots were roasted to perfect sweetness. Prices are also fairly reasonable for an upscale rooftop restaurant. Service was a bit spotty but overall I would come back!

Went to One40 Rooftop at the World Center Hotel on a weekday around 4pm. The space was nicely decorated for the holidays, and at that hour it was quiet, with natural light pouring in. The decor is contemporary and the space feels welcoming. Located on the top floor, the rooftop offers great views that immediately elevate the experience. I met someone there for a networking/professional meeting, and we ended up sitting at the bar, which has about five seats. We ordered non-alcoholic beverages, and it turned out to be a comfortable, relaxed setting for conversation. The staff was helpful and attentive. Aside from one family having a late lunch, we essentially had the place to ourselves. I noticed they offer happy hour deals, and the other food/drink menu prices were in line with typical NYC rooftop pricing. If you're in the area, this is a good option for an early afternoon meeting or a low-key catch-up with a view.

I came here last night with my boyfriend and I had such a great experience. The view was just stunning and we came at sunset hour which made it perfect. The food was also delicious and very filling - we got a combination of a bunch of plates. The eggplant was delicious I would definitely recommend as well as the beet salad. For our mains we got the duck and wagu and both were great (you can't go wrong with either). The service was also really good - everything got out in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend for a date night or nice dinner out!

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!
