We had a reservation for a party of 7 on a Saturday at 8pm. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted & attended too. The place is a Total VIBE; the cocktails were on point, the DJ was great, the live belly dancer was Amazing & the food was beyond delicious!!! Plus is a beautiful space.

Came here for a private party on the second floor. The interior decor is gorgeous-- floral forward, blue and purple hues and very "Instagram worthy." We started off with authentic Greek Salad, then a choice of entree (I got the salmon) and ended with a dessert tray. Everything was fine and fresh, but I've definitely had better Greek food in the city! Service was friendly both at the bar as well as our table service. Worth trying once and experiencing the vibe, but I don't think I'll be back before trying some other Greek spots in town!

Absolutely beautiful!!!! Enjoyed this amazingly designed restaurant for my DAD birthday, and I must say... what a beautiful experience!! A party of 8 With 2 toddlers The food was just amazing The drinks are strong!! And the ambiance is just so breathtaking So many instagram worthy pictures! The celebration cake that they got for my father was so beautiful and he enjoyed it so much, the service was amazing andwe loved our waiter! He was so friendly and attentive My fav part is definitely the fish under the stairs The only down fall is that the food is a lil pricey

What a beautifully designed restaurant with incredible food. It was the perfect spot for a birthday celebration with so many pictures worthy areas, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended to make a reservation instead of showing up for guaranteed seating. Service was quick and efficient, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was flavorful with generous portions. I rarely finish my plate, but this time I happily did!

Skinos has a great lunch menu. Based in the WTC area, for $40 you can get an appetizer, entree and dessert! Can't beat that! Went on a Saturday evening with a 3 person party. Was seated within 20 minutes of check in. Menu is on an iPad and there are good drink options. Music was loud but not loud enough to repeat things 3 times. The grilled calamari and dolmades were good. The Chilean sea bass was great. Servers were attentive. One thing to note, the check has a cash total and a card total ( couple dollars more).

Recently stopped in and had a great experience celebrating mine and my daughter's bday. This place is really aesthetically pleasing and photos/videos are encouraged. The vibe is so relaxed and chill! We took our time and never felt rushed, which I loved. We both opted for the sirloin strip and it was easily 10/10. Very flavorful and a generous portion! We also had the fried calamari and you really can't go wrong with that. We had a great experience overall! We did have a shared dessert and sparkler for $25 as well. Just a heads up that they automatically add gratuity to the check so it's not optional. Not that we wouldn't tip of course, I've just never seen that auto applied for a party of two.

Eh. I've heard good things about this place so was looking to finally dining here. Came for brunch. The atmosphere nor the staff felt welcoming. Food was just okay. Overpriced if anything. Just.. eh. Nothing amazing, yet nothing horrible. I'd go elsewhere if you're debating.

The atmosphere was so crazy in this restaurant-the music is so loud and a little odd for a nice dinner reservation. It has a club atmosphere so if you enjoy that scene this would be great for you. The food is overpriced for sure, and the service was ok. The lamb chops were good. The interior decor is very cute and pretty. The bathroom is also nice with lots of decor. Could be fun for birthdays or special occasions.

Came to Skinos for my friends bridal shower and although the place is beautiful, it was definitely a missed opportunity for the food. It's very aesthetically pleasing and so many photo opportunities, even in the bathroom but the food was not what was expected for a place that looks so nice. Also parking was very difficult in this area. I can only speak on behalf of the event space and event food but I was very underwhelmed. For starters the food took 2 hours to come out and everyone was starving . The drinks also took a very long time to come out , mind you we were only a group of about 25 people & I did not see that the restaurant had many other people plus this was an event so we had our own designated waiters and it still took very long. For appetizer I had the mandarin salad , it was good. For entree I had the beef short rib and it was dry , not tender or juicy and the flavor was missing for me. For dessert it was an assortment of Greek desserts, they were okay nothing stood out. Overall , I don't think I'd go back. The place seemed to cater to influencers but not really foodies. They should put more effort into their food and service rather than solely their appearance.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

Dim lighting, plush seating, rich wood + wallpaper details, and that lounge-library vibe make the place feel like a secret hideout right in the middle of Midtown. It's moody, cozy, and effortlessly intimate -- perfect for a date night, a chill catch-up, or just a night out with good drinks. Nice service, too! However: be ready for the price tag. The cocktails are absolutely beautiful -- well crafted, creative, and flavorful -- but each one will remind you that you're not exactly paying dive-bar prices. It's worthwhile, but the "overpriced drinks" vibe absolutely hits. That said: the interior design and ambience are amazing. Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.
