After the San Genaro feast, Me and a couple of my girls wanted to grab a drink. We came to yelp and decided on Rooftop 93 and we were not disappointed. As soon as we came in, my breath was taken away from the view around us. The lights were dimmed and glowing. It feel very calm. I'd come here on a date. We grabbed a table and ordered our drinks. I had an Aperol Spritz which was yummy and refreshing. My girls both got a Margarita although I forgot which flavor. They loved it and ordered a 2nd round. We were able to relax, enjoy our drink and have some girls night quality time :-)

Such a vibe!!! The interior decor/design/ambiance is amazing with a great view. As to be expected, the drinks were definitely pricey with green tea shot $9 and cocktails nearing $20ish each which definitely adds up. Overall not the most worth it price wise but definitely come here for the vibes. Cute intimate girls night or date night spot. Not very crowd

Came here on a NYC trip we usually do a rooftop or two while visiting this is a cute little rooftop in the LES, reservations should be made although when we went it was pretty good crowd not over whelming. Both service and bartenders were great but even better were the cocktails, strong and smooth. Average cost per drink depending on what you order is between 14-18 which isn't bad for NYC. Drinks to definitely try the Manhattan and the Lychee Martini. Service when ordering was also good. The view from the empire is great and the music is a vibe. Will definitely recommend to take visitors since it's not very chaotic place.

18th floor indoor rooftop bar in Chinatown with drinks under $19 (average ~$15). We walked in on a Sunday in the summer and it was pretty empty! The bartender was also super nice and checked up on us regularly.

Great cute rooftop bar in the LES. If you wanna take people visiting NY you can take them here for a quick drink and a view of the Empire State Building. Service was good we ordered a couple bottles of rose and some cocktails

Decent view, but even though the weather was lovely the actual rooftop is closed and only opens for private events. Long island ice tea was good/strong, but wasn't able to get the popsicle cocktails we came there for :(

    NYC Skyline

Although the outside rooftop is closed, the indoor still provides a great view of NYC skyline from the 18th floor. Service and drinks were great!

Drinks: 4/5 Good selection of wines and beers. Stopped by for a drink. I tried a sauvignon blanc but it was too sweet for my liking. They offered me a taste of two more varieties and found something I enjoyed more. Service: 5/5 Great staff and service! Very accommodating! Ambiance: 3/5 Great view but nothing special about the interior. Dimly lit. Good place to hang out with friends or potential date. Not too crowded or loud.

Not the most spacious rooftop bar, but definitely a good one. And the location makes it even better. I'm not sure if we just came at the right time, but it wasn't as crowded as most other rooftop bars on a Saturday evening. Yes, the space is a lot smaller than Mr. Purple or the other over-glorified spots, but it does the trick and the views are still gorgeous. Drinks were kinda pricey for the size - $12 for a small Rum Punch - but, when in Rome... There's also a lot of seating in the indoor space in case NYC summer heat and humidity isn't your thing.

My boyfriend and I decided to come here for drinks and we got some of the drinks with popsicles inside. In my case it was a lychee popsicle. The drinks were disgusting, the kind of drink I would have drank as a poor college kid just trying to get drunk. The view from the top also wasn't that great as you were too low down to see the whole city well and the view of the area was not that impressive. The place was also quite loud and noisy like it was trying to be a bad dance club, but since there weren't that many people inside it was just kind of boring and awkward. Definitely a bad choice for this city trip.

The place is small AF. The view is aight; it would be better if it was a view of a river or something. The issue is that it's in Chinatown; this neighborhood is ghetto and ugly AF. Beers are 10 bucks a pop, no happy hour.

Located at the 17th and 18th floor rooftop bar inside Wyndham Garden Chinatown. We were checked in to the hotel for New Year's Eve so we decided to check this rooftop bar out. They were having NYE event so we bought tickets through Eventbrite! The party was fun. It ran for 4 hours with open bar leading up to midnight. You get a pretty nice view of NYC up here! It was a nice experience! The staff were nice and accommodating! We'd probably be coming back to try this some other time when they don't have an event and just open for regular bar operations! But over all, this rooftop bar is awesome and if you are looking for a place to enjoy a breathtaking view of Downtown Manhattan including seeing the Empire State Building, you should try this place!

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

I wanted to treat an old friend to a quick birthday toast before a show she was attending nearby. Later that night, another friend became available to join but, because they do not actually have a phone that takes calls (only offers an announcement to go to Resy or email) adding another person was not at all easy. I would have had to cancel and rebook and wasn't sure I'd be able to (reservation was for a Saturday night) In most places, a table for 3 easily accommodates 4. But not here. When two of us arrived, they made it clear this was a big problem. I would have walked out right then but I would have been charged $90! We decided to stay and make the best of it, which was a challenge. For a speakeasy, the vibe was aggressive, not relaxing. Very loud music and not great acoustics.) Too cramped to be comfortable, proving that small does not necessarily mean cozy! We asked if we could take a chair from the table next to us, which was empty (it was only 6 pm; I told our server we'd be gone by 7 because my friend, the birthday girl, had to catch a show.) We were told No! To say the waiter was cold, unfriendly, and indifferent is generous. He was totally rude. He literally told my friend she couldn't sit in a chair that was otherwise empty, knowing we'd be leaving momentarily. Then he had the gail to hand me the bill with a 22% tip pre-selected...and watched over me while I signed it! Definitely the least satisfying $100 I have ever spent. Disappointing. It was good to see my friends, but I so wish I hadn't picked this place. Never again.

Dim lighting, plush seating, rich wood + wallpaper details, and that lounge-library vibe make the place feel like a secret hideout right in the middle of Midtown. The cocktails are absolutely beautiful -- well crafted, creative, and flavorful -- but each one will remind you that you're not exactly paying dive-bar prices. It's worthwhile, but the "overpriced drinks" vibe absolutely hits. That said: the interior design and ambience are amazing.
