After the San Genaro feast, Me and a couple of my girls wanted to grab a drink. We came to yelp and decided on Rooftop 93 and we were not disappointed. As soon as we came in, my breath was taken away from the view around us. The lights were dimmed and glowing. It feel very calm. I'd come here on a date. We grabbed a table and ordered our drinks. I had an Aperol Spritz which was yummy and refreshing. My girls both got a Margarita although I forgot which flavor. They loved it and ordered a 2nd round. We were able to relax, enjoy our drink and have some girls night quality time :-)

Such a vibe!!! The interior decor/design/ambiance is amazing with a great view. As to be expected, the drinks were definitely pricey with green tea shot $9 and cocktails nearing $20ish each which definitely adds up. Overall not the most worth it price wise but definitely come here for the vibes. Cute intimate girls night or date night spot. Not very crowd

Came here on a NYC trip we usually do a rooftop or two while visiting this is a cute little rooftop in the LES, reservations should be made although when we went it was pretty good crowd not over whelming. Both service and bartenders were great but even better were the cocktails, strong and smooth. Average cost per drink depending on what you order is between 14-18 which isn't bad for NYC. Drinks to definitely try the Manhattan and the Lychee Martini. Service when ordering was also good. The view from the empire is great and the music is a vibe. Will definitely recommend to take visitors since it's not very chaotic place.

18th floor indoor rooftop bar in Chinatown with drinks under $19 (average ~$15). We walked in on a Sunday in the summer and it was pretty empty! The bartender was also super nice and checked up on us regularly.

Great cute rooftop bar in the LES. If you wanna take people visiting NY you can take them here for a quick drink and a view of the Empire State Building. Service was good we ordered a couple bottles of rose and some cocktails

Decent view, but even though the weather was lovely the actual rooftop is closed and only opens for private events. Long island ice tea was good/strong, but wasn't able to get the popsicle cocktails we came there for :(

Drinks: 4/5 Good selection of wines and beers. Stopped by for a drink. I tried a sauvignon blanc but it was too sweet for my liking. They offered me a taste of two more varieties and found something I enjoyed more. Service: 5/5 Great staff and service! Very accommodating! Ambiance: 3/5 Great view but nothing special about the interior. Dimly lit. Good place to hang out with friends or potential date. Not too crowded or loud.

Although the outside rooftop is closed, the indoor still provides a great view of NYC skyline from the 18th floor. Service and drinks were great!

Not the most spacious rooftop bar, but definitely a good one. And the location makes it even better. I'm not sure if we just came at the right time, but it wasn't as crowded as most other rooftop bars on a Saturday evening. Yes, the space is a lot smaller than Mr. Purple or the other over-glorified spots, but it does the trick and the views are still gorgeous. Drinks were kinda pricey for the size - $12 for a small Rum Punch - but, when in Rome... There's also a lot of seating in the indoor space in case NYC summer heat and humidity isn't your thing.

My boyfriend and I decided to come here for drinks and we got some of the drinks with popsicles inside. In my case it was a lychee popsicle. The drinks were disgusting, the kind of drink I would have drank as a poor college kid just trying to get drunk. The view from the top also wasn't that great as you were too low down to see the whole city well and the view of the area was not that impressive. The place was also quite loud and noisy like it was trying to be a bad dance club, but since there weren't that many people inside it was just kind of boring and awkward. Definitely a bad choice for this city trip.

The place is small AF. The view is aight; it would be better if it was a view of a river or something. The issue is that it's in Chinatown; this neighborhood is ghetto and ugly AF. Beers are 10 bucks a pop, no happy hour.

Located at the 17th and 18th floor rooftop bar inside Wyndham Garden Chinatown. We were checked in to the hotel for New Year's Eve so we decided to check this rooftop bar out. They were having NYE event so we bought tickets through Eventbrite! The party was fun. It ran for 4 hours with open bar leading up to midnight. You get a pretty nice view of NYC up here! It was a nice experience! The staff were nice and accommodating! We'd probably be coming back to try this some other time when they don't have an event and just open for regular bar operations! But over all, this rooftop bar is awesome and if you are looking for a place to enjoy a breathtaking view of Downtown Manhattan including seeing the Empire State Building, you should try this place!

Generally speaking I am usually not a big fan of rooftop bars. They're usually overcrowded with tourists or bridge and tunnel trolls, overpriced and overhyped. Rooftops bars usually fall under the category of things in New York you think are fun in theory but when you get there, you realize it's actually not fun and that people coerce themselves into thinking it's fun because the said experience is supposed to be fun so therefore it must be fun. That being said, I went to rooftop 93 the other night because my friend organized a birthday party there. It was actually a relatively fun time. Great views. Good food. Nice decor. Somewhat pricey but decent for a rooftop bar. I got the nachos, which had a bit of a Korean twang to it with some kimchi and other Korean ingredients. It was tasty. The place is kind of small but I came here on a weeknight so it wasn't too crowded. All in all, I'd come back again if I had a friend in town and they wanted to hit up a rooftop bar.

Does this place allow smoking and does that also include mj?

    Is this place open?

Stopped by last Sunday and the receptionist at the hotel said rooftop93 is not open to public

We are strictly a 21+ venue.

    Do they have food here?

Yes they have a good menu.

Are 20 year olds allowed in?

Unfortunately, not. We are strictly a 21+ venue.

What is the music like on a Saturday night?

    No music

What type of music gets played?

Unfortunately, we do not have live music, but we do stream Top Hits and Hip Hop playlists.

    Are hats ok?

    Yes, hats are permitted.

What are the happy hour times for Saturday?

    Daily 5pm-8pm

    Is the entry only 18+?

    No, 21+.

Not really. Just a chill out lounge

Is the rooftop part open during the winter?

The open air rooftop is closed for the season. Our indoor lounge is open all year round with floor to ceiling windows which also provides an amazing view of the city.

Do you have to be 21 to enter or do they just ID if you order a drink? Each time I search up for a place that is 18 and up. This tops the list so I'm a little confused.

We are a 21+ venue. Since we are located on the 18th floor we keep popping up with key word searches. I apologize for the inconvenience.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong.
