Decent Korean-run general Japanese place. - decent salmon don and chirashi don. Pieces of salmon were great, not the biggest nor the smallest I've had. Pretty fleshy. No ikura though. - huge menu. They have sushi and all the usual Japanese dishes, bento boxes etc. they also have a decent Korean menu. - ramen was "average" noodles "too soft" and egg subpar. - Korean stuff was great. The Dolsot bibimbap was legit and kimchi seemed ok. - we also ordered soondubu and it was fine too. Good flavour. Not crowded and food came quick. Overall would come again. read more

Stopped by to get some sushi and sushi bowls to go. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice ambience. The service was friendly and the food was prepared fairly quickly. We were happy to see a variety of menu items including vegetarian options. We got the vegetarian poke bowl, salmon poke bowl, avocado roll, yam roll and vegetarian gyoza. We wish there were a little more salmon in the salmon bowl. The yam roll could have had a little more sauce and the avocado could have been a little more ripe. But otherwise the flavors overall were good. read more

Our tour company selected One Sushi as our dining destination and our group of 14 was very happy with the choice. Our selected food item was a Korean Dumpling soup aka Mandu guk and it was excellent. The side dishes which were kimchi and cucumber kimchi were well made and delicious with the soup dish. Also included was a bowl of rice which went well with the soup. Customer service was friendly and the ambiance of the store was clean and Asian feeling. We are planning to return for dinner for sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. Looking forward to it! The sashimi and sushi are good, particularly the fresh salmon slices. The California salad is very refreshing with artificial crab meat and avocado. Service is fine and the ambiance is quiet and quaint. The booth is quite comfortable. read more

Absolutely infuriating. We specifically requested a dish with no onions, only to be served something drenched in them. When I pointed this out, the waitress casually shifted the blame to the kitchen--as if that excuses the mistake. Then, they brought out a completely different dish we never ordered. When we questioned it, the waitress had the audacity to suggest it was our fault for not specifying that the dish we had clearly not requested... was not the one we wanted. And the final insult? At checkout, a 30% tip was quietly added to the bill without our consent--no discussion, no heads-up, just presumptuous and arrogant. Wanted something a little lighter for dinner after exploring Jasper during the day... sushi craving hit and I was nervous about trying sushi in Jasper... But One Sushi was great!! The sushi rolls were tasty and the service was good! We got simple California rolls, spicy tuna, and yam rolls - nothing too crazy - and all was good. The yam rolls in particular hit the spot with good flavors and good textures. Everything came out quickly too which was a plus (despite it being fairly busy inside). read more

A nice place just off the main strip. I rate this a good value in a city where you pay $20 for a burger. I ordered the salmon special ($29) with salmon sushi, sashimi and salmon rolls. The salmon tasted fresh but the rice tasted slightly under-cooked. Don't order Ramen of any kind . They will serve you a $2.00 instant noodle . They pour hot water on top of that instant soup and call it a cooked food . Small portion low quality Katsu for $23.00 , dirty windows and lack of air conditioning. I didn't try the maki but I seen on the other table that the rolls are chunky (over riced) and uneven . Save your money and visit nearby stake houses . read more

I ate here with my nephew in March and we enjoyed it so much we came back. I was in Jasper for a mini vacation and looked forward to eating here again. I had the Black Dragon Roll and the Dynamite Roll and edamame. It was as good as remember and more so. If you're in Jasper and looking for sushi I highly recommend this place. read more
