Amazing food and outstanding waiter. Best food we had during our trip to Jasper. Each person ordered a different Italian classic and all were cooked and served to perfection. Our waiter Binura was perfect. Delivered our food fast and checked on us often. His personality also made the meal even more enjoyable. The place wasn't overly loud and decorated nicely. Really recommend this place for dinner. You won't be disappointed. read more

The epitome of mediocrity This place feels like a tourist trap. We stopped by for din and then first thing we noticed was how pricey their food was. We tried the chicken parmesan and their shrimp gamberetti. It was just really so average. The pasta itself didn't feel fresh. Also, no free bread apparently (it is listed on the menu for $11, which is is wild). And the service here is terrible, not to mention our waitress being incredibly awkward. And the tip is calculated on top of tax and fees. Wasn't even sure what I was tipping for. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Gluten free availability I am very grateful that they provide gluten free options especially when dealing with pasta choices at a restaurant But it was disappointing when I was reading the outside menu and I saw that they had a gluten free squash ravioli, and I got all excited and entered the restaurant based upon this and was unfortunately disappointed to find out that the ravioli is pre-prepared so it was not available to me, even though it was listed under the gluten-free +4 dollars menu I did enjoy the Chicken Alfredo My own concern is the advertisement of a gluten-free butternut squash ravioli listed under gluten-free +4 dollars I am curious as to why they don't pre-prepare the gluten-free ravioli as well and have it ready just like they do for the standard ravioli I sincerely appreciate the waitress going to ask the chef just to make sure if there was any availability read more

We were in Jasper, Alberta, Canada Wednesday September 23 2026, we had made a reservation at Cassio's Trattoria's Italian restaurant the week before for 5:30pm, after hiking and exploring in the jasper area we went to the restaurant at 4:00pm and asked to eat earlier than our reservation, we were seated right away, when we ordered we mentioned that my wife is allergic to chili, our server came back shortly saying the marinara sauce did that came with out appetizer did have chili but the chef was making a new batch without the chili for us (-:}, we were amazed and appreciated him doing that for us, both the food and our server were great, thank you so much for making this an awesome dining experience for us Don read more

Gluten and dairy allergy. Went here for breakfast buffet. I got cut fruit, scrambled eggs (I asked if they could get from the back), and smoked salmon. They didn't have gluten free toast today but offered me a gluten free bun. Not many choices for df gf. Menu is mostly pancakes, breads, and pastries. read more

We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night because we were really craving pasta. It was fairly busy, but since we went early, we were seated right away. We chose to sit out on the patio since the weather was perfect. I was really in the mood for pesto, so we asked to have the chicken removed from the pesto pasta. Our waiter, who was incredibly kind and friendly, suggested adding vegetables instead, which was a great idea. We also ordered the Pane Farcito, which was fresh and delicious! Unfortunately, the pesto pasta itself was a little disappointing--the sauce was watered down and there was barely any pesto flavor. It tasted fine, but it didn't really deliver as true pesto. That said, the excellent service and friendliness of our waiter definitely stood out. read more

Nice Italian restaurant with great food and service. Jona was an attentive waitress. The elk osso bucco was delicious.

Mediocre. No bread service. Bolognese was a thin red sauce with a bit of meat. The flavor was fine, just not a hardy meal as you would expect. Worst I've ever had. read more

Food was alright. Service was EXTREMELY slow. I'm talking 30 mins to get our food. 10 more mins to get boxes for our leftovers. Was also asked if we wanted bread to go with our meals. We said yes thinking it'll be like any other Italian restaurants that serve bread for free. But no. It was $10. Was not informed of this. read more

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here. Beautiful views when eating outside. There is gluten free pasta. I originally was ordering the bolognese but the server informed me it contained dairy (hats off to my server for catching this for me). I ended up ordering the arribbiata (Italian sausage, chili, marinara sauce and I ordered no fior di latte). It was yummy with a good portion. I appreciated that it was a flavorful red sauce and not just plain tomato. My husband got the carbonara gluten free add grilled chicken. He enjoyed it. We appreciated the big portion sizes for the price we paid. read more

Excellent food, Lamb Shank wa sthe best one we had, Great cocktails...Starwberry Mango lemonade was good

We he lunch here between a morning hike and a boat cruise. Parking, as with all restaurants in Jasper, is either on-street or in one of the large lots, but you pay (via the QR code / phone) either way. We needed to eat and head out in under an hour. In retrospect, if I had it to do over, I'd have come back here for dinner and had lunch at a pizza place down the street. The only reason I say that is that the service here was - leisurely. I'm not criticizing; under other circumstances, I'd have enjoyed 'leisurely'. As it was, it ended up cutting things a bit close. That aside, I am still giving this place high marks due to the food. My wife got the tuna burger and really enjoyed it - more than a more expensive tuna dish elsewhere for dinner the prior evening, in fact. She made mention of this a couple of times. As for me, I got the spaghetti pomodoro. I used to really enjoy this dish at a place north of San Francisco about 20 years ago (with angel hair pasta). This was just about as good. I think maybe we split a salad too, which was also quite good - the ingredients tasted extra fresh, etc. The only downside was the slight stress due to us being pressed for time - but that was really on us, not the restaurant. The food was great! If I returned to Jasper, I'd readily return here for a meal (making sure I had plenty of time to relax and enjoy it). read more

This visit was about a year after the devastating wildfires nearly destroyed the town. The four of us got into town without reservations anywhere, and found this place across from the train station. They were able to seat us right away. The hostess and our waitress were both very friendly and served us competently throughout the meal. Great cocktail selection and all were very well made. The food was delicious. I had the Arribiata that normally comes with penne pasta. I was more in the mood for linguine and they were happy to substitute that for me. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. We all enjoyed our meal very much! read more

Awesome service, amazing food and great customer care. We found a gem here. Binura was an absolute legend!! This is a must!!!

Okay, first things first. It's expensive, but then _everywhere _ is expensive now. Not keen on the $14.50 a glass wine, so we each had a Strongbow cider. My love had the cannoli (which was excellent), and I the sausage in penne dish (Aribaitia?). A side order of a garlic bread basket rounded out the meal. Good portions, very attentive staff. read more

Absolutely wonderful evening. The food was gorgeous and the service as well. Would definitely recommend..!!

Superb food...kudos to the chef! Srushti delivered friendly and professional service. highly recommend !!!

The food was subpar. Since the name of the place refer to Italian food, I thought that we would get some sort of pasta. But they offered 3 pasta dishes and everything else. The waitress suggested the Fish and Chip. So we ordered Fish and Chip, Pasta Bowl and a beer. The batter on that fish could have being used on 3-4 orders and the pasta was watery. I was so disappointed leaving thinking we could have being better of going to KFC. read more

I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot regardless of the rating since many comments were regarding service. We walked in and was greeted by two women at the hostess stand. It was pretty empty when we arrived so we were able to sit in a nice spot by the window. They have old decor but home-y feeling. They had a special running for the month - 3 courses for $39. And mostly everything was included with a few items for a couple extra dollars. My friend and I went for that special. I ordered the cozze e vongole (mussels and clams). My friend order the pane farcito. We also put in our entrees - I got pasta with Bolognese and she got Penne with Arribiata. Our apps came out pretty quickly. The red sauce with the clams and mussels was good and came with bread to dip. It was a very big appetizer. I tried some of my friend's stuffed bread - it was delicious, but beware there is a lot of butter. Also, filling. We had to set them aside so we could ensure we had room for our entrees. There was a long lag time between app and main course. Our waitress did come over to apologize and keep us updated. When our pastas came out - I did wish it had more tomatoes in sauce but it was good. My friend also liked hers. We had lots of pasta leftover! The third course was dessert. We both got turtle cheesecake to go. It was just okay. That was my least favorite of the meal. Other than a little wait time and the couple things with the food, the waitresses were very friendly and teamed up to ensure our table stay cleaned and drinks stayed full. I was surprised by the low rating. The deal was great - we got so much food for a good price - especially when we saw the single prices of each. read more

Had late lunch at this Italian restaurant and our experienced was good. The place is very nice and not busy so we were seated right away. Staff are friendly especially the Italian guy server. They have Happy Hour every day from 11:30 - 2:30! Prices are great. We also enjoyed the food and the service was friendly.

We decided to eat here after a chilly day exploring the surrounding areas of Jasper. I am celiac and find it challenging to find something gluten free to eat in Jasper that isn't automatically gluten free (ie., a salad). Their website indicates that they can make almost everything on the menu gluten free, so we gave it a go! We both had the 3 course meal for $39 (I believe it's a winter special) and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Smoked Salmon Carpaccio to start; it came with 2 slices of gluten free bread, delicous smoked salmon (a good portion), and the red chili jelly was delicious! It could be enough for 2-3 people, but I enjoyed it all to myself For the main course, I got the Siciliana - made with corn noodles. It was also a delicious plate, and had a very generous amount of ingredients in the dish. For dessert, I got to enjoy the Turtle Cheescake, drizzled with chocolate syrup and a dollop of whipped cream. I dont get to enjoy dessert often when we are out, and this was so yummy! In addition to our great meal, we took advantage of the cocktails on the special menu - also well done and would recommend. Our waitress, Peggy, was very warm and we had great service all night. I would HIGHLY recommend this place as a gluten free option in Jasper. If we had more time visiting, we would have likely ate here nightly. I seems that they understand what celiac is, and take measures to reduce your risk of eating out, which is something I greatly appreciate. read more

Loved our experience at Cassio's! The mozzarella bread appetizer was so gooey and delicious and was a delightful way to start our meal. The selection of Italian wines is impressive and the ambiance is serene and inviting without being overly stuffy. Our server was amazing and addressed our many questions and concerns with patience and a smile. The piccata was delicious, as were all three of the pasta dishes we tried. The best part of our meal was the limoncello creme brûlée. So tasty! Highly recommend. read more

Visiting Jasper and decided to drop in for a 4 pm early dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant and service was personal and attentive. We were not told about the evening specials, perhaps it was too early. Overall the carbonara was decent, the pollo in butter was average. Meals cost $30 each and did not come with and type of dinner rolls or bread. Was disappointed that for$60 all we received was two entrees. Will not return. read more

Ate here yesterday on September, 26/2020. Sadly some of the food from other members of the table. Was very disappointed and tasted just like cheap pasta. The food was very over priced for what you receive. Some dishes were good. However I think other locations unless your wanting to try something different. Waitresses very quick and polite I found them honest and to the point. Worked with what I needed. read more

Was very disappointed. The calamari was tasteless. When the waitress asked how we liked it, we were honest and told her. She then proceeded to tell us how everyone else loved it and she agreed with them, practically arguing wth us. I then tried to give my order showing her on the menu as it was difficult to pronounce and she ignored it and continued to ask me which one I wanted. I changed my order and she laughed. The food was not great. Carbonara was okay. Will definitely not go back. read more

Good food and drinks. Waitress was fantastic and hostess kept filling our water glasses. My steak was very good. My wife's risotto was fantastic according to her. Dessert menu was extensive and hard to decide from. We went with salted caramel gelato. They had gas heaters keeping the outdoor patio warm plus blankets on the seats for those that needed more. Great experience. read more

Ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo Con Pollo for lunch. I found the noodles cooked well, sauce nice with a strong garlic flavour, and there was a decent amount of chicken. There was also a pile of some odd, sticky cheese on the top but the flavour was lost and the texture was off-putting. Garlic bread was satisfactory. Sticky toffee pudding was outstanding. Pricing for pasta was too high in my opinion. read more
