We were hungry and decided to try this place. It was fine. Cannot complain. See pictures for recommendations.

Service a little slow but they were very busy so understandable. Everything we got were big portions and shareable. Mushroom ravioli was excellent! Gnocchi was pretty good as well. My kids were happy with the chicken fingers and fries (perfectly crispy).

We stopped by here after a hike and swim in Lake Annette. We were seated right away, and the food were served promptly and wait staff was attentive. Food is ok taste-wise but pricey. 1. Calamari. 4/5 sauce was not what we expected but ok 2. Mushroom ravioli. 5/5 it's fresh and tasty 3. Oxtail pasta. 3/5. Ok but hardly any meat. Since it was shredded we can't tell if it from oxtail or regular beef 4. Mezzi Ragotani. 3/5. Beef pasta. Again hardly any meat in brown sauce. 5. Alfami seefood (sic) pot. 3/5. A version of Cioppino-like soup. Portion is small and lacking sumptuous varieties of seafood. It came with literally 2 medium shrimps, 5 mussels, and Brussels sprouts + potatoes. Probably will try other eateries on next visit to Jasper.

During my trip to Jasper, my mom and I decided to try some Italian. I would give the food an 8/10. Calamari appetizer HIT!!! Pasta is yummy, and would highly recommend the carbonara. The duck pappardelle was initially a 7/10, but it was just more on the heavy side, so we had to take it togo. We received amazing service from a young lady, and made us feel welcome in a new small town during our vacation. I would say restaurant has a good design to it, and the area overlooks a busy main road. Highly recommended!

Chose this place based on Yelp reviews. Not bad, nothing special. Our server was nice and attentive. Ordered Lasagna and was not really authentic Italian in any way, soupy tomato sauce instead of firm pasta dish. Got an oxtail bolognese sauce over pasta dish, light on oxtail. All in $75 CAD, could have made 5x amount of better quality at home. It is Jasper and touristy, but still be prepared to be underwhelmed.

This is a nice rooftop restaurant in the middle of Jasper - it's located across from the Circle K and Tim Hortons but on the roof top. It has both a nice indoor as well as outdoor dining area. I had the mushroom soup & chicken cacciatore- both of which I found very good. The waiter was very attentive and also friendly as well. Bathroom was clean - however could use a little more light.

Amazing view!! We didn't make a reservation but they took us anyhow which was wonderful. I like that they have a small menu. What they have they do well. Where we were seated with the door opening often it was cold. But the red wine helped. The braised beef rotini was really good, I found it too rich though. It could be shared. The portion size was large (not complaining). My friend had their gnocchi and it was also delicious and large portion size as well.

We were craving Italian food when we first arrived at Jasper. We found Alba restaurant that's located on the second floor of Jasper Main Street. The restaurant is large with a lot of tables. It's early for their summer tourism season so there were just a few groups of people. I had the Oxtail which was excellent. The pappardelle was excellently cooked. The sauce was bold with meaty flavors. It was perfect after a long day of traveling. The chili red pepper was a great touch to give another layer. The dish was sizable. I really enjoyed it. Seafood Spaghetti was also very good. However, I feel it can use more tomatoes to give heavier taste. I would say I have had better Seafood Spaghetti before. Overall, I recommend this Italian place at Jasper!

Had a really great experience. We got such a cool view of the town and mountains from the balcony seating. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive (I think he was Filipino). He gave us really good recommendations on what to try. The food was served fast and was very filling as well as tasty. The only thing I would skip would be the rhubarb panna cotta. It was kind of watery and didn't taste like rhubarb. Aside from dessert we had a great time.

Considering that all of the places we've been in Banff/Jasper have been tourist death traps serving mediocre food for over-inflated prices, ALBA was a welcomed change. Came here after seeing Yelp reviews. My friend and I split the mushroom ravioli and the sirloin, which I ordered medium rare. The pasta was great- no complaints. I was disappointed that the steak arrived more medium. It was also a bit chewy - which may have been the result of it being over cooked. All in all, it was a good dining experience. Would come back.

Excited to try out this restaurant during our trip due to good review. We arrived at the place around 5pm for dinner and it was not very busy. We ordered steak and seafood soup. Seafood soup was just as delicious as I expected. Steak was cooked to perfection. The sauce was a bit off. I would give 5 stars otherwise.

Our host was a native of Costa Rica working at the Jasper Park Lodge - he was extremely knowledgeable of whiskeys and other liqueurs, as well as mixed drinks. The dinner room looks out over Lake Beauvert which is stunning. We had reservations for 4, and were seated right away. It took a while for our server to get to our table, greet us, and get serve waters. Our server was professional and efficient, but definitely not friendly. We had a 3 course meal as part of our package and there were plenty of interesting starters and entrees. It took some more time, before the server returned and took our orders. As a matter of fact, it took nearly 2.5 hours for the entire meal. Turns out that our server kept getting distracted in conversation by another table next to ours. He was totally oblivious to the other tables around. Our table ordered a collection of varied entrees, lamb chops (for me), a rissoto dish, scallops, and bison steak. During our wait we were served some olives and crostini with a spread, and focaccia bread. The crostinis were not fresh and tasted as if they had been sitting in a too cold refrigerator. After another wait, the food did arrive. My lamb chops were amazing. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the vegetable bake was good as well. The scallops got good reviews. However the Bison was undercooked, and tough. The risotto was bland and soupy. After finishing our entrees, it took 30 minutes for the server to return (chatting it up again with another table). It was getting seriously ridiculous. Asked the server to bring our desserts (which was included in our 3 courses). My Tomato and Raspberry dessert was very interesting, and good (a little chili powder in the chocolate pudding). Asked for the check for the cocktails. Mentioned to the server the long wait, and he apologized and blamed it on the busy dining room, but I felt compelled to point out his chattiness with other tables. After the rest of my party left, I hung back and asked to speak to the manager. He explained that while they have just recently opened, there was no excuse for what had happened to us. Offered to pay for our drinks (which I declined). I hope they are able to get their act together. A beautiful, upscale place like this needs to do better.

I have to admit I may of groaned a bit climbing the flight of stairs up to the restaurant after a verticle climb up a mountain earlier, however the trek up was worth it. We were seated right away, and greated by Maddy soon after although wern't ready to place our drink orders quite yet. After a bit we had moved onto the menu choices where Maddy hadnt come back and was having a casual chat for a while with the bar tender so I walked over and asked to place our drink orders. Since they wern't busy and we were thirsty we were both a tad annoyed as we felt a little forgotten. I ordered the Cabernet and my guy the Rhino Hazy IPA draft. My wine was delishious although pricey for an 8oz glass. We both agreed the IPA was a bit heavy on the citrus notes so my guy opted for the The Apex Predator Ale on the next round which was much better. The food came out quickly where I had the Truffle Tortellini with cajun shrimp with Maddy's suggestion and it was SO good! My guy had the Alfredo with chicken which to both of us was a bit bland. After a while of the food being dropped off Maddy came around where we asked for some salt and pepper and parmesan which did help the alfredo dish. I ordered a second glass of 5oz wine, less than the already costly 8oz pour but our server brought the 8oz pour. She apologized when I told her was pretty sure I ordered the 5oz but told her I would just keep it. This place has good food, a nice kind of trendy atmosphere which is updated and stylish, with a good menu. Our service wasn't top notch but have had way worse and we thought Maddy was nice at least. The food and drinks are pricey but would definitely return.
